114 Vance's Idea

After leaving the dungeon, Vance headed back towards the Throne Room in order to discuss his findings and thoughts with John, Lucy, and the girls. While he was walking, he started to think of an idea. What if he were to sneak into the Rising Dragon Kingdom.

A short period later, Vance had made it back to where everyone was. Noticing his arrival, they stopped their conversation and looked at him. Vance, seeing this, waved at the group.

"Yo. I'm back guys."

Celine, Hope, and Jess seemed to be very happy that Vance was back. John and Lucy waved back in response to Vance. Lucy was the one who spoke up.

"Hello Vance. Are you done with your interrogation?"

"Yes I am, and I got a bit of useful information. For instance, those two that I captured are on the lower side of the twenty Generals. In other words, those two aren't even strong."

Hearing this, John seemed surprised.

"Didn't the older one say that their minimum combat power matches up to ten million soldiers?"

Vance nodded.

"You remember. Good. Yes they did say that, but mixing the information I got from both of them together, the weakest of the twenty generals can match up to ten million soldiers at the very least. But that's talking at the absolute weakest that a general can be. As for the strongest, apparently then can take on around one billion."

Lucy put her chin on her hand in a thinking pose. She then began to speak.

"Then Vance, where exactly would you stand on the power rankings of the Generals?"

Vance started to think about where he stood at the current moment. After a short period of time, he had an answer.

"Considering where I am right now, I'd say I am within top fifteen. That's a guess based on an extreme overestimation. Keep in mind that I don't fully understand the general power of a soldier. And ten million seems like quite a lot. However, it should be almost impossible for them to kill me. Clearly I am above the nineteenth General since I have already beaten him, but if I take a bit more time I can guarantee a win against every single one. Although I probably wouldn't let my full power out unless necessary, or things would get boring."

Hearing Vance's confidence, John seemed to be relieved.

"Well then, where should we go from here? Are you just going to go and strengthen yourself Vance?"

"Maybe. I might go check out the Rising Dragon Kingdom as well. It's not like they could hold me prisoner even if they found out who I am."

Hearing this, the girls looked at Vance in mild shock, not expecting that he was thinking about just wandering into enemy territory. However they briefly realized that this action lined up very well with Vance's character.

"Master, are you really planning to go into enemy territory?" Asked Celine.

"I mean, sure. I can count it as a sort of vacation. Plus it might give me more ideas to strengthen myself."

Hearing this, everyone seemed to understand. John was the first to speak up.

"Well then Vance, I wish you luck. Be safe. And take care of my daughters. The Fatewalker Kingdom is depending on you."

"Thanks John. I'll be sure to help you guys out."

After saying this, Vance began to walk out with the girls in tow.
