16 First Quest

"Eh? You want to join our party?" Said Vance as he looked at Alice.

"Yes! Is it it impossible like I thought?" Asked Alice

"Sure you can join the party. I don't mind. What do you think Celine?"

"I support Master's decision."

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

"It's no problem. Well." Vance said before turning towards the receptionist.

"We'd like to register as a party of three. Can you help us do that?"

"Yes of course I can. Well first I have to ask: Who will be the leader of the party?" Said the receptionist.

"I say it should be Master." Said Celine.

"I also think it should be Vance since I'm just a F Rank adventurer." Said Alice.

"Well if both of you think so then I guess I'll be the party leader." Said Vance.

"Okay then I'll mark Vance as the leader of the party. It's done. Now when you take a quest all of you receive credits towards your next rank-up. As for the rewards you will have to divide that amongst yourselves." Said the receptionist.

"Sounds good. Well girls we should go look into taking our first quest." Said Vance as he started to walk towards the quest board with the two girls behind him.

"Master what do you think would be a good first quest?" Asked Celine.

"Well honestly I would prefer something that we can do easily with our skillset. So for instance things like herb collection quests we can complete them in a few seconds as long as I can know what they look like and the effects of it. And for elimination quests it wouldn't be too hard to just kill the creatures."

"Eh? What's Creation?" Asked a confused Alice.

"Ah. I forgot about that. Celine should we explain?"

"Well Master if you plan to keep this girl around for the long term then it might be beneficial to tell her rather than keeping it a secret."

"Hmm. Good thinking. I'll make a sound barrier and you can explain it while I figure out what quest to take."

Saying this Vance created a sound barrier using Wind Magic. After confirming the barrier he turned back to the quest board while Celine explained Vance's ability to create.

"WOW!! So he can create anything he wants !?!?" Exclaimed a shocked Alice.

"Well it's mainly based on my mana, but yeah." Said Vance leaving out the details of Creation Coins.

"And I think I've decided on our first quest. We'll take this herb collection quest so I can familiarize myself with it before we use Creation to complete it more times since it's repeatable. And then once we get to E Rank we can start taking on Extermination Requests."

After saying this Vance led the girls back to the counter and told the receptionist that they'll take the herb collection quest, to which the receptionist responded by saying it was unnecessary for them to bring up the sheet for a repeatable quest. After being told that Vance and his party headed off to the site for their first quest: Heart Shaped Herb Collection.
