14 Day 3: Adventurers Guild

By the end of the day Vance and Celine had found lodging in an inn named The Sleeping Crow Inn.

"A room will cost 10 copper coins per night you stay. If you make it 15 per night we will provide food three times a day each day you stay with us. Extra meals can be bought at an additional cost." Said the woman behind the counter.

The inn appeared to be of a somewhat high quality without being too expensive.

Vance then created 30 copper coins and handed to the woman.

"For now we'll take the room for two nights please."

"Please enjoy your stay at the inn."

Celine and Vance proceeded to their room after the woman at the counter finished speaking. Once they made it to their room they began to get ready for bed.

"Celine I think in the morning we should check out the Adventurers Guild. I know I can just make money for us to live life but it would be pretty fun to do a little adventuring since we're so strong."

"I agree Master. It would be a waste to just sit around all the time. So yeah tomorrow we can go to the Guild. But for now let's go to bed mkay~?"

After saying this Celine lays down and pets the bed beside her. Vance seeing this walks to the bed lays down and holds Celine in his arms as they both fall asleep.

The next day Vance and Celine wake up and get ready to head out and check the Adventurers Guild. Upon reaching the guild they head inside. The scene in the guild is about what you expect. The room is filled with tough looking people many of which are scarred. As they walk towards the reception desk they notice a petite woman with rabbit ears, black hair and blue eyes being surrounded by four burly men. The woman appeared to be very uncomfortable but hesitant to speak up on it.

Vance noticed this and walked towards them with Celine.

"C'mon little rabbit. Don't you wanna have some fun with us. Us C rank adventures can afford to pay you well." Said one of the men as the young lady's eyes began to tear up.

"Gentlemen. It seems this young woman isn't willing to go with you so why don't we leave it at that?"

"Beat it kid. Unless you wanna get hurt bad I suggest you mind your own business."

"Ah. So it really is that cliché. Well I'm gonna give you guys some advice now so you don't regret it later. Piss off and don't try to fuck with me or I might just tear you limb from limb. Or maybe I'll just kick the shit out of you all, but well, who knows."

"You, kid? Don't try and be a hero you little shit. Maybe I should teach you the meaning of respect." The seeming leader of the men laughed and then swung his fist at Vance.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

As Vance said this he dodged the mans fist and reinforced himself with mana, a trick he realized was possible with Magic God, and then began to run at the men. He then punched one of the lackeys that had swung at him in the face, ducking the next ones punch and uppercutting him in the jaw. He then kicked one in the stomach, and punched the leader in the solar plexus leaving him out of breath. The woman who had been surrounded looked at Vance in awe as Celine looked at the men an shook her head disappointed in the men's stupidity.

"Y'know, my Master warned you guys. You idiots should have listened." Said Celine
