2 chapter 2 A New Beginning
[after two days ]
the past two days were very uneventful as there was no new development and were the same old routine. but today was different as it was the biggest event for everyone's life as this was the time that will set a path for everyone's life.
Mike woke up early and freshen up himself and got ready for the big day. He went on to walk to the city center to join the ritual. he went to the stand for the candidates for the ritual. he had asked the city to provide him the monster for the ritual as he didn't have enough capital to buy one himself.
soon all the candidates were present for the ritual. they were given their respective number according to which they will have their awakening. soon Mike received his number. which was 100 in group H. so he headed for group H where he stood waiting for his no.
the awakening ceremony went on as usual way.
it was around evening when Mike got called for the ritual. he enters the formation and saw three monsters in it. the monster was a cobra monster, a hound monster, and a strange-looking bird monster.
Mike saw them and was contented to choose the monster in front of him. in the end he choose the bird monster and took the ceremonial knife and cut his finger to oozes out a drop of his blood to initiate the contract between himself and the monster.
at that time hen heard a ring in his ear

He was surprised by his status as well as his missions but he calmed himself down as he had to complete the rituals and then after which he would check the system.
he then completes the second stage in which he found out that the elements he came to know for the system were correct.
he then had his fitness checked as well after which he was given a booklet by the organizers about the details related to the cultivation.
He took the booklet and started to head home. he reached home and soon reached his house and went in where he cooked his dinner and ate it.
he then checked out his system first and asked the system about it and its main objective.

[ATK refers to the attack damage from him, DEF refer to the damage reduction while taking on an attack, STA is the minimum level of physical ability of the body SPD is the speed on moment and skill deployment and INT is intelligence which is the key factor that determines their mama available to activate a battle spell or techniques]
[pet are his monster that he contracted as of now]
[missions are quests given by the system that he had to complete to move forward. you have two incomplete missions as of now]
this gave him a journal glist of the information on the status window and it's working.
he then asked his system to notify him of every information he gets that is important.
HE then asks the system to open his mission tab so that he can check out the missions

he knew that he need to complete the first mission as he didn't want to face any penalty as of now so he starts to work out after three hours of endless exercising he was able to complete the mission of the system.,
he then called on the system to check it and add the attributes to the stats he wants as of now.

He looked in his stats of his and started to plan how to add his initial stats of his so that he can get as much advantage as possible. so he goes on to add 2 in ATK, 2 in STA, and 1 in INT
he then calls on the status of his to check out the changes
