15 Chapter 15: Shea Haulia

It's been 2 months since we got the first Age of God magic.

In these few months, I have created many skills from my memories and a few I have taught to Hajime and Yue.

Yue is a monster when it comes to magic casting. She learns magic relatively fast to the point if I didn't have <Archmage > I would envy her.  It should be expected from a 300-year-old vampire with an innate skill.

Then there was Hajime who focused on fighting with guns. So I taught him some martial arts using guns and to my surprise, he is extremely good at it. In just 2 months his martial and gunmanship skills became almost as good as mine. I was speechless seeing his progress.

It took me three years to learn everything from my father, and I dedicated the rest of my time to practising and honing my skills. I can say that it took me about three to four months to learn each style. However, Hajime managed to master a martial art and marksmanship in just two months, which was a remarkable feat considering my own training in those two styles took seven gruelling months to complete.

I really wanted to curse out loud (fucking plot armour). I somehow held myself back from screaming.

I also created many artifacts for my use like guns, swords, and magic-powered vehicles. Hajime and I really had lots of fun making those. hehehe…

Anyway, that's how we spent our time in Orcus labyrinth.

Currently, we are heading towards the teleportation waypoint to get out of Orcus labyrinth. Inside the lab, there was a pedestal with a large magic circle on it. We stood there.

Hajime asked me "You sure don't want to reunite with others".

I looked at him with a deadpan look and said, "You already know except Shizuku I don't care much about others. What about you, I am pretty sure Kaori will probably be searching for you". Hajime didn't answer me. I also didn't ask anymore knowing, he needed time.

He activated the magic circle.

The magic circle shone brightly and sent us into a cave, and straight ahead there was the light coming from outside.

We headed outside, "after living indoors for 3 months it is refreshing to breathe fresh air". While I was getting sentimental Hajime and Yue went to their own world again. I just shook my head and ignored it.

I was wearing a black militaristic outfit similar to Rihito's after he took the post of Kernal in a manga. I had a long odachi with a blade almost as long as my body in hand. Its name was 'Muramasa' my ace weapon.

Both Hajime and Yue also wear the same outfit as in the anime.

"Both of you snap out of it we had company", hearing me both of them prepared themself for a fight.

About a dozen pig-looking monsters came to attack us with wooden clubs, lucky for them we were not your typical adventures. It only took us seconds to slaughter them.

Hajime with his 2 guns 'SCHLAG' and 'DONNER' turn them into mincemeat. Yue with her magic mastery burns them to cinders, and as for me, I diced them to bits with 'Muramasa'. "Hmm… did you guys feel it magic is dispelling"

Yue nodded "This is Raisen Grand Canyon. In this place, a low-level spell will not activate here, we need high-level spells" saying that Yue cast a hell blaze. One of the magic I recreated using my fire and my imagination its dark flame will never go out unless the caster wills it.

After we dealt with the monster suddenly, we heard a girl's loud scream "SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE ME. I GONNA DIEEE WWAAA... PLEASE SAVE MEEEE…".

"..."

From our left side, a certain rabbit girl was running from a 2 headed t-rex-looking dinosaur. That dinosaur was hot on her tail. 

After noticing us she screams even louder "SAVVEEE MEEE PLEASE!!!".

She was none other than Shia Haulia one of the demihuman from the Rabbit Men tribe. She was wearing those so-called bikini outfits similar to many games and anime I have watched.

Hajime came to me and said let's just ignore that thing.

If I didn't know about the plot, I was poised to agree with Hajime.

"PLEASE DON'T BE SO CRUEL, I GONNA DIEEE!!!" saying that she stumbled and faceplanted herself. Seeing such a pitiful state of her. I decided to help her. I launched a vertical slash making sure I didn't slash the rabbit by miss take.

The dinosaur was about to eat her, but suddenly it split in half vertically all the blood and organs splashed on the rabbit below.

Watching the rabbit girl's predicament Yue asked," Is she dead".

"NO, I AM NOT" the rabbit screamingly came out of the corpse.

She was blooded from top to bottom. Her blue hair turned red and she was still sobbing.

I was a little worried for her health so I went closer to check. Hajime and Yue just watched from a distance both of their faces had a look like they were watching something pitiful.

"You ok there", i asked. She suddenly lunged at me saying "Thank you" with a teary face, a snotty nose, and was bloody from top to bottom. In slight disgust, I instinctively used <Super Human Speed> to get out of the way. She face-planted herself into the ground again.

In my entire 2 life combined I have never seen such a pitiful girl. She was so pitiful I didn't feel disgusted anymore. With goodwill, I cast <Cleanse > on her to clean her up.

"Rihito, it getting late we need to go now" Hajime called out.

"Yeah, let's go", I started to walk away. But the rabbit girl grabbed onto my legs asking "Please listen to my story" Hearing her yelped Hajime snapped at her with a menacing look "What the fuck is your problem, we already helped you now go home we have better things to do".

The rabbit girl said "I can't, if I go back without help, the future will change", listening to her. Hajime came same eye level as the rabbit and grabbed her head.

Knowing what would happen I wore my sunglasses. Yue seeing me wearing sunglasses asked me to give her one. Then both of us watched the rabbit get electrocuted.

Taking a <lighting clad> like that rabbit was twitching in the ground.

Rabbit still didn't give up "What was all that for? You did whatever you wanted for a beauty like me, didn't you."

Watching the acting like they were doing some comedy skit I couldn't hold it and chuckled "hehehe".

Yue then spoke up "Wait Hajime let's hear her out." I also nodded. Seeing Yue and I interested Hajime spoke "Speak, let's hear it."

She then introduced herself as Shea Haulia. She then started to explain how her family lived in the depths of the forest, that is in the demihuman country of, 'Faeabelgaen'. But because of her, their entire family was driven out of the country because she was a special type of demihuman with magic and an innate magic skill called <future sight> which should be impossible, that is why other demihumans wanted to execute me, but my tribe refused, that why we were mistreated by other tribe. So, we went towards the northern mountain after leaving the forest. On our way, we came across some imperial soldiers, and many of them were captured. We then ran toward the canyon where magic does not work but still, we faced monsters. "So please help us".

Sadly, for her, Hajime's heart didn't move a millimetre from her story he instantly said, "I refuse!"

Hearing the instant refusal and the baffled look on Shea's face I couldn't help but laugh "hahahahah."

Hajime then started to speak harshly "Enough with your stupidity. What exactly do I get out of helping you guys? You got kicked out of both the empire and the forest country. Why do these things happen even though you can see the future?".

Shea rabbit ears dropped upon hearing harsh criticism from Hajime. She still didn't give up and said "It is exactly as you said. The future is something that can change if you work with all your might. Even I believe that a little. So that's why some futures don't change if you don't work hard enough, that's why I can't give up on the future. I saw where you guys helped us".

Hearing that resolute voice something inside me buzzed, she reminded me of something (you have to work hard to change the future, huh). I spoke up "Hajime let's take her with us. We are going that way anyway, and we need a guide she is a resident there, so she will be perfect. it will be just one luggage extra. Yue also agreed with me.

Hajime then clicked his tongue and said "Tsk, rejoice rabbit you can come with us".

Seeing that I convinced Hajime to take her with us. Shea tried to tackle-hug me but before she got close to me, I used my barrier magic to create an invisible wall that she slammed her face, "Auch… what is this wall?"

"Enough wasting time get ready we will head out ASAP" Hajime took his storage ring and pulled out his newly created bike.

I also pulled out my own bike from my storage ring.

"Rihito take her on your bike" I gave him the look I really had to, but he ignored my stare, "sigh".

I looked at Shea she had a happy look on her face, I just sat on my bike and urged Shea to hop on. She happily jumped.

We then took off to the entrance of the Grand Canyon. I and Hajime are driving side-by-side. Shea took this chance to ask us a few questions she was curious about. How can we cast magic instantly without a magic circle, do we also have unique magic? I answered, "Yes to both of the questions". Then she suddenly grabbed me titer and started to cry. While Yue watched wearing the sunglasses apparently, she had taken a liking to it for some reason.

Then Yue suddenly hugged Hajime. Hajime also started to pet her. Seeing the pinkish atmosphere, I went ahead of them. 

Shea suddenly spoke, "Um are you forgetting about me". I suddenly thought it was a good chance to mess with someone I needed to relieve my stress. I said "Oh, you are there I almost forgot" With teary eyes she said, "You are so cruel" Seeing her wine I had a sly grin on my face. It's been a while since I messed with someone. Behind Hajime said, "You see that the evil Rihito I told you about. You better stay away from him whenever you see him like that. Who knows what prank he will pull". Yue nodded with a serious look on her face
