CHAPTER 1: THE TWO BEST FRIENDS.

Ann Marie and Edmund were best friends since first grade, they were now in High School. Ann was in the Library reading when someone familiar came and stood by her. It was Edmund, he took the book from Ann

Ann: Give it back Edmund

Edmund: No, I won't

Ann: Give it back, I have a test today

Edmund: Liar, we're in the same class so how can you have a test without me knowing

Ann: Uhhh, cause you don't pay attention in class

Edmund: I always do and I'm even the best student in Mr. David's class

Ann: Oh really

Edmund: Yeah

Ann forcefully took the book from his hand and did a funny face to him. Ann Marie went home only to find her parents arguing

David: You don't treat your daughter well, how can she become responsible. She's just like you

Maya: My daughter is not like me, let her be what she wants to be

David: You're always spoiling her

When Ann heard this, she started crying. She hurriedly went to her room and packed her stuff and some little food in her backpack and ran out of the Window. She was walking alone on the streets when some bad guys came to her

Bad guy 1: What are you doing all alone here little girl?

Ann: Sorry, but please I was thought not to talk to strangers like you

Bad guy 1: I'm not a stranger

Ann: Mister, you're one

Ann Marie said as she was about to leave but the bad men surrounded around her

Bad guy 2: I can see that this girl has a lot of money which can help us get rich

Bad guy 3: Give us all your money and we'll let u go

Ann: And do u think I even have money right here, I'm broke just like u guys

One of the bad guys held Ann's hair

Bad guy 2: Give us all the money you've got or well beat u to death

Ann: You can't do that to me

One of the bad guy was about to slap Ann but a hand held his hand

Ann Marie: Edmund!!

Edmund and the men fought with eachother until he defeated them

Ann Marie: Edmund, are u okay

Edmund: Yes, I'm fine

Ann Marie: No, you're hurt

Ann said as she touched Edmund's face

Ann: Can u sit right here on the bench so that I can take care of your wound

Edmund: No, it's okay

Ann Marie forcefully made Edmund sat on the bench and took out her first aid and started to take care of his wound. Edmund and Ann then started staring at each other, they were even about to kiss when they came to their senses

Ann: Uhhh

Edmund: So tell me, what are you doing. You should be at home now

Ann: No, I can't

Edmund: And why's that?

Ann: I heard my parents argued about me?. Dad was saying all sort of things about me

Ann said when she began to cry, Edmund whipped the tears using his handkerchief

Edmund: It's okay, don't cry again
