Chapter 1Prologue

I sat in the car in silence with tension all around me.

Me and my boyfriend, Lucas had gotten into an argument after I saw him with another girl  kissing in the park. I'd been suspicious why he went out at 10pm every night so i followed him tonight and saw him kissing my best friend Tzuyu. I confronted them both about it and believe or not he had the audacity to be angry at me for following him?

I was not going to stand around and listen to his bullshit so i headed towards my car and drove away. I could hear him shouting my name in the back as my tears finally rolled down my cheek.

It was late so i could barely see anything and me crying didn't help either as it just made it more blurry until i saw a big flash of light.

I remember waking up in the hospital a week after the accident. Everyone was rushing towards me after realizing i woke up. I tried to speak but i couldn't move my mouth. It felt as if it had been glued shut.

I started freaking out but the doctors started calming me down " Aera you were in a car accident" they said.

Suddenly it had all came back to me and my tears rolled down my cheek. "You're mute, we're not sure if you'll ever be able to recover"...
