A New Hindrance or a New Help?

"So, Rebecca, do you accept my request to become a little sister for Eris?" While I am contemplating over my impulses, Lord Sauros asked me again to accept his request. However, there is something missing in this scenario. Ah, that's right!

"I will accept the request, but I have one favor to ask" as I said that to Lord Sauros, he raised his eyebrow in response to my requesting for favor.

"Ho? You have the guts to request a favor from me" Lord Sauros intimidatingly said while posing imposingly in front of me, so I did the same pose to combat his intimidation.

"I mean what I said, lord Sauros. I can't accept your request if you don't accept this favor" I said my stand bravely in front of the lord of the mansion, which he furrows his brows and glared at me.

"What is this favor you're talking about?" he intimidatingly asked while still glaring at me. I resist the intimidation and say what I need to say.

"I want Eris to be the one asking this request in front of me. If she's the one demanding this to me, then I may reconsider in accepting to be her little sister" I demanded my favor to lord Sauros who becomes silent after I said it.

Few minutes later, he took a deep breath and is readying to shout at me. I quickly applied battle aura to my ears while still remain in my pose. Onii-chan covers his ears, also preparing for the shout.

Here it comes, I'm sure of it.

"ERIIIIIIISSSSSSSS!!!" lord Sauros thunderously shouts for Eris's name, making the whole area shakes. Everyone except me fell to the floor, clutching to their ears due to how loud the shout was.

'Good lord, that was loud as heck'

'(Yeah, tell me about it)'

'It's a good thing that covered my ears with battle aura or else I will deaf for the rest of my life'

'(Say Rebecca, why didn't you do that on the previous times that someone shouts at you?)'

'Well.... You see, I haven't thought of it before and just realized that I can do things like this with my battle aura'

'(Ah, I see. Well then, carry on)'

That's right, I learned to cover my ears with battle aura like earplugs just now because I am tired of my ears being damage by loud noises. I also learned it because I realized that battle aura can protect you from certain elements like shockwaves, so wrapping my ears with battle aura negates the shock and vibration of the shout.

*SLAM*

After a few minutes of waiting, Eris finally came and entered the room along with Ghislaine, and Felis following her behind.

"Is it done, grandfather?! Did she accept to be my little sister?!" Eris excitedly asked lord Sauros about my acceptance of her request, which wasn't validated yet.

"No, she doesn't accept it yet. Like I said earlier, you should ask things on your own. I just remembered the advice that Rudeus said earlier" Lord Sauros said with a regretful tone.

I turn my attention to onii-chan and he gave me a thumbs up, saying that he already backed me up. I then returned the thumbs up with my own, telling my gratitude and thanks.

As expected of onii-chan, he already set the stage for me beforehand.

Eris trembles in frustration as march her way towards me, standing in front of me while glaring at me. I also glared at her, locking our gaze at each other.

We kept staring at each other for a while, waiting for her to say her request in front of me.

But then, she raised her hands up to hair, grabbing it and formed a twin tail. She sticks her butt outward, sticks her tongue out and was about to say something.

However, onii-chan stopped Eris from doing whatever she was doing.

"Eris, I already told you to not do that when you're asking someone" onii-chan reprimanded Eris for doing something that he warned not to do anymore. However, my curiosity is telling me to know what is it.

"But...."

"No buts, Rebecca will just make fun of you" onii-chan said something that only he and Eris know, which is suspecious.

"Ohohoho~ What's this? Are you two hiding something cheeky behind my back?"

""!!""

I decided to tease those two, making them flinch a little and flustered at my words.

"W-what are you saying!"

"No, it's not like that. Eris is just..."

"Hey Eris, show me what you were doing earlier" I demand Eris to continue the thing she was doing earlier. She hesitant on doing the action I instruct her and she reluctantly execute the pose.

"W-will you be my little sister, nya?" Eris cutely said the lines while posing adorably, making me speechless for word.

"..."

"....."

'She is so adorable'

'(Huh? Are you serious?)'

'I mean really. Her pose is so freaking adorable that my heart just skipped a beat'

'(Oh no... Don't tell me you are gay or something?!)'

'W-what?! N-no! Why would I be gay?!'

'(I can see in your face that you're blushing heavily, dumbass!)'

'What?'

I checked my face if Kiana was true about me blushing and when I did, it was confirmed that I am blushing red on the face. What the heck is happening to me?!

*Bzzzt*

{Hey, Laplace}

{I found some pretty girls this morning and they look so adorable}

{So? Why are you telling me this?}

{I want to keep them, so I take them with me}

What the fuck was that? What did I just remember?

Why do I feel weird and hot all a sudden?

These thoughts are making me dizzy and nauseated, not allowing me to think straight.

"W-well, what do you think? Will you accept my request" Eris then asked me, snapping me out of daze. I looked at her and when I do.... I feel very strange.

I then felt my heart beat heavily and my body is acting strange for some reason.

Suddenly, my arms then unconsciously raise and my hands were reaching out to Eris.

'Umm... Kiana, stop controlling my arms'

'(That wasn't me)'

My hands then finally landed at Eris's shoulder, making her and me confused.

'I am serious, Kiana. Stop controlling my arms'

'(I swear, it wasn't me!)'

"It is really cute and your pose is adorable"

"Huh?!"

'Huh?!'

My mouth then said something questionable that made me and Eris yell in confusion.

'(Holy shet)'

"W-what are you saying? Get your hands off me!" Eris tried to struggle to break free from my grip, which I had no control over. Everyone watching me and Eris were confused on what's going on.

'Kiana, I swear to God. Please, stop this'

'(For the love of Laplace, it wasn't me! I swear!)'

"Hey, Eris"

"W-what?"

My mouth then called for Eris, making her look at me in bewilderment.

"Do it again"

"D-do what?"

"Do that pose again and say those line. But this time with more passion"

'What in the absolute fuck am I saying?! Kiana?!'

'(Rebecca, let me get this straight. I have nothing to do with this, and neither do you! I think someone else is controlling the body)'

'Who the fuck else is controlling the body?'

'{Me~}'

'Who the hell are you?' '(Who the hell are you)'

Both me and Kiana questioned the new voice in my head.

'{Shh~ The show is about to start~}'

With the new voice told us to silent and we watch Eris does the same pose again.

"W-will you be my little sister, nya"

'{Kyaa~ Marvelous~ I want to hear it again}'

'What?'

"Do it again~" the new voice told Eris to repeat the line.

"B-but I did it already" Eris was getting more flustered as the voice keeps pressing her to do the action again.

"If you do what I said, then I will accept the request. Now, do it" the new voice negotiates with Eris, who was completely in servile to the voice's whim.

"W-will y-you be my l-little sister, n-nya" Eris stuttered as she tried to repeat the lines, breaking her slowly.

"Um... Rebecca, I think Eris had enough with what you are doing" onii-chan then tried to cease the new voice's antics.

"No, dear brother~ I think Eris needs to do it again to make it acceptable~" she rebukes onii-chan and continues to play with Eris.

'PLEASE STOP, ERIS IS BREAKING!'

'(YOU FOOL, THE LADY CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE!)'

'{Aww~ What party-poopers you two are~}'

'Um, we don't know who you are, but you need to stop'

'(I agree. This is getting out of hand)'

'{Alright, alright, fine. I will stop}'

The new voice complied and ceases her repetition of commands,

"Ah, never mind. Eris, you can stop now"

"T-that means y-you are now w-willing to accept my request" Eris weakly asked the voice if I accept her request.

'{Hey, Rebecca. Should I accept her request}' the voice asked for my answer, which I quickly said yes.

'YES! Please answer her quickly before she breaks any further!'

'{Okay~}'

"But of course, I will accept the request~"

"Really?!"

"Yes~"

"Does that mean you accept to be my little sister?"

"Of course.... Onee-san~" the voice cheerfully called Eris a big sister while beaming brightly at her.

"Guh.... *Knock out*" Eris daintily faints and collapse on the floor while blood spilled from her mouth and nose while smiling blissfully.

'ERIS IS DEAD!!'

'(ERIS IS DEAD!!)'

Me and Kiana were completely horrified by the scene of Eris collapsing to the floor due to the voice's advances.

'{Oh relax, you two. She just happily fainted out of happiness~}'

'You're wrong! She fainted because she is completely broken by your constant mind breaks!'

'(She's right! You completely short circuit her mind, you fool)'

We both rebuked the new voice for her actions, telling her that she completely broke Eris.

"""""""""Eris/ ojou-sama!!""""""""" everyone rushed towards Eris to check her condition, worrying about her mind and well-being.

'{I think my job here is done}'

'But you didn't do anything beneficial here!'

'(But you didn't do anything beneficial here!)'

'{Toddles~}'

'Wait!'

*Ba dump*

The voice released her control of the body and I regained mobility of my limbs again.

'(Shet....)'

"Rebecca, what did you do to Eris?! Why is she smiling while being unconscious?!" onii-chan reprimand me for what the new voice did to Eris.

"Ah, well that's because...." I tried to find a reasonable alibi to explain what happened. Everyone in the room is staring at me seriously, waiting for me to answer.

'Shit, Kiana. We have a problem here! We need to fix this, right now!'

'(Wait, hold on! I am thinking! Come on.... Ah, tell them that Eris is very happy of being accepted as your big sister that she fainted! GO!)'

'Got it!'

"Onii-chan, you see... Eris urm... onee-san was so happy to be accepted to be my big sister that she fainted...hehe..." I explained myself to the people with Kiana's advice and they furrow their brows at me, making me sweat profusely.

*gasp*

But then suddenly Eris woke up, gasping for air to breath. Everyone quickly checks on her and keeps asking if she is feeling okay.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me" she calmly said as she stands up and dusted her clothes.

"Are you sure, dear? Is there nothing wrong with your health?"

"He's right! Did Rebecca do something to harm you or anything?!"

Both Philip and Lord Sauros worriedly questioned about Eris's condition, making her irritated.

"I said I am fine! So, knock it off!"

""!!""

The two men were surprised that Eris yelled at them, startling them in the process.

"AND YOU!" She then points at me, making me flinch in fear of what's to come next.

"Y-yes... onee-san?" but I tried to answer her while pretending to be cheerful as possible.

This made Eris feel uncomfortable and strange, but recovers her composure and takes a deep breath. I instinctively applied battle aura to my ears to prepare for her shout and close my eyes while waiting for the worse.

However, the worse didn't come and something suddenly wraps around me, feeling a bit warm and comfortable. I opened my eyes and was shocked to see Eris hugging me for some reason. I look around the room and everyone were as surprise as I am.

"Um... Onee-san"

"Hmm?"

"What's going on? Why are you hugging me?"

"Is this what you and Rudeus always do, right? I want to know how it feels like to be hugged by someone younger than me. Now, go on... hug me back or something!" Eris explains her intention and demands me to hug her back. Oh well, it won't hurt if I will hug somebody else.

I hugged Eris back and she slowly smiled comfortably. We stayed like that for several minutes before separating. I then look at her eyes and gently smiled at her, but she averted hers and blushes while looking away from me.

"W-well, how was the hug, Rebecca" Eris asked me for my reaction to the hug we did. I thought for a few second and decided to make her feel better as compensation for the damage that the new voice did to her.

"It feels good, onee-san. I like the hugs we did together" I complimented Eris's hugs and she slowly smiled before turning around and snorted.

"Hmph, I'm glad you like the hugs. I never hugged someone else in my life, so it was first to me" she haughtily says to me, but subconsciously know that she is happy and grateful behind that tough exterior of hers.

"Is that so. Thank you very much, onee-san" I cheerfully thanked Eris for her kind words, which she silently titters at my enthusiasm.

She then walks towards the door of the guest room and opens it as she looks back at me.

"If that's how it is, then your very welcome, hmph. Ghislaine, Felis, we are leaving"

"Understood, ojou-sama"

"Understood, nya"

Eris then prompts the two beast persons to follow her.

"Rebecca"

"Yes, onee-san"

"I want you to see you at the courtyard for sword training, do you understand?!"

"Yes, understood"

"Hmph, see you later, little sister"

Eris exits the room after saying her farewell, leaving the rest of the people in the room to be at awe of my performance with Eris, which was pretty good job.

'Huh, I didn't expect to end so well'

'(You're right, that voice we met earlier wasn't bad after all)'

'Yeah, I wonder where did she went. I want to thank her for helping us back there'

'{You rang~}'

When me and Kiana were wondering where did the new voice went, she suddenly showed up. Which made both of us surprised at her sudden appearance.

'Geez, you scared us there, new voice'

'(Yeah, just who the heck are you?)'

'{Who, me?}'

'(Yes you, dummy. What's your identity?)'

'Yeah, we want to know your name'

'{Hmmm... Nope, I can't tell you~}'

'(Huh? Why not)'

'Oho, Kiana. You're asking someone's identity but you're not revealing yours'

'(Urgh...)'

'{Fufufufu, you two are funny. Okay, fine. I will tell you a bit of my identity}'

'Really? What do we call you?'

'{Fufufu, you can call me....}'
