1 Prologue

*BIZZ BIZZ BIZZ BIZZ*

I slam my fist on my alarm clock

Ugh...It's my first day of middle school. Most people would be pretty excited but not me. I've heard too many embarrassing stories of things that happen in middle school to even have a little bit of excitement in me. I get out out of bed, take a shower, get changed, and brush my teeth. Before I leave I get a frozen waffle from the freezer, grab my saxophone and head out the door.

"I read online that this school should be more exciting than the other ones! I mean thats why I signed you up." My mom said as I was walking down the steps.

"What's that supposed to mean? A school is a school and nothing more." I say confused what she meant by 'exciting'.

"Oh I guess you didn't read about the school on the website. You'll find out when you get there then. Have a good day at middle school!"

Right as I was saying bye I see the bus drive by. "NO DON'T LEAVE ME!" and I started running after it. It got too far away for me to catch up with a saxophone in my hand so I turned around and had my mom take me to school. I was definitely going to be late on my first day of middle school.
