"I found some fruits and strange looking monsters, they taste good actually," Masao said.

"Then after that, you found a straight road?" Ryu asked again.

"Yes," Masao nodded.

"Then after a few minutes, you got lost?" Ryu said.

"Y-yes," Masao scratched his chin, rubbing salt to my wounds.

"Wow, Damn, Anyways, I'm glad you didn't get lost to another world," Ryu said with a smile. Masao only looked at him in a strange look, a few moments later, the door opened and the old man carried a box.

"Sorry for the wait," Misurugi said as he took a seat, "So I here have the badge showing you both have reached B-rank, the guild will also award you 500 gold coins," Misurugi said with a smile.

"I'm fine with that," Ryu nodded, he doesn't mind giving Masao some of his merits, it would also help him search for information.

"Good," Misurugi nodded and opened the box showing two badges with unique style, Ryu took the badge and gave the other one to Masao who thanked him, they both put the badge on their chest, Ryu then turned towards Masao, "Have you registered as an adventurer?" Ryu asked.

"Oh, yes, I registered this morning," Masao said with his usual smile.

"Nice," Ryu nodded.

Misurugi then handed him a pouch full of coins, "600 coins are inside it, think of the extra hundred coins as a gift from us," Misurugi said.

"Thank you," Ryu nodded and left with Masao.

The two of them made their way towards the library, well, after asking many directions, finally reaching the place, it was not that different from any place except it was much cleaner, Ryu and Masao entered the library and started looking around, Ryu had already explained to Masao what they would do.

Look for important information about this world, mostly the history and culture, Ryu and Masao split up and started looking around, Ryu found a book about history, the book title was Bane Century, Ryu then found a seat and sat there, he looked around and saw Masao was already reading something, he had a straight posture and the usual smile on his face.

He is sleeping," Ryu knew immediately, he just shrugged it off and started reading the book, Thousand years ago the world of Dahak was a world full of war, misery and despair, people are forced to go to war, every minute a person will lose their life, this war lasted for a long time thus named the Bane Century, it was a very very dark time.

It was not just humans who fought among themselves but also a foreign creatures came we called them Foreign Demons, the world was again plunged into deep chaos, that was when the strongest man in the world came out, no one knew where he came from or what he was, but he goes by the name Amaya Ko – the Strongest Man, he stopped the war among humans with a yell and drove out the foreign demons with a swing of his naginata, he restored the world and brought peace.

Thus came the end of the Bane Century.

Ryu finished reading the book and put it down, "Amaya Koji, a Japanese person, from what I knew first perspective is that this world doesn't have a Japanese last name," Ryu the turned his head towards Masao who already had his head on the table sleeping peacefully, he then went back to deep thinking, I need more information about this guy.

Ryu stood up from his seat and started looking for more books about Amaya Ko, it wasn't really hard looking for it because almost all hero tales are about him, still, there are many stories about him, also different from each other, some said he was born in this world, some said he was blessed child of the heaven, and some said he was sent by the gods to save this world.

But one thing Ryu found, Amaya Ko is a very strong individual, they said he could move the mountain with a push, or split the sea with a swing of his sword, Ryu never thought this would be impossible, instead he could do it, he doesn't doubt it, well anyways, after he was done with Amaya Ko, 'time to look the information about Foreign Demon.

It didn't take long for Ryu to round up information about the foreign demons, they are existence known to be mystery as they just suddenly came in this world and plunged it into chaos, there were many types of foreign demons, each of them had the strength to kill 100 people single handedly, and on top of them the leader was a demon king.

They were being driven out by Amaya Ko, but every three hundred years they would come and attack again but they would still get driven out by Amaya Ko, but Ryu found it strange, Amaya Ko is a powerful person, but it seems like the foreign demons are not scared of him, it was like they were waiting for a right time to attack…wait… a thousand years ago… that means Amaya Ko is getting very old… F*ck..
