"Where are you both going? Aren't you forgetting something?"

A voice came from behind much to their fear and their footsteps froze in their places….

They glanced at each other for a moment and then nodded, steeling their resolve they turned around to look at Zack who has just finished doing all the chores.

Now that it has come to this, they can only leave go with the flow since Zack still hasn't told Qingyue about divine realm and Lingxi can't possibly do anything either.

"Why are you in so much hurry to sleep? Are you both tired?" Zack asked with a casual tone but for the girls it was like they were in a interrogation room.

"…um..eh…. It has just been a long day, after that incident in clan and now moving here." Lingxi nervously stated while Qingyue supported her with a nod and voiced out "It has certainly been a long day."

Zack nodded his head at them and said

"But you haven't even chosen your respective rooms yet, have you?"

Lingxi cheeks had a tinge of redness from embarrassment after hearing his words, she hurriedly tried to make some excuse "Uh.. that? I was… I was just about to choose one."

"Ok, you can take any room you like, you already know which room is mine."

Lingxi immediately nodded and hastily moved to her room with Qingyue behind her.

Both he girls took the room farthest away possible from Zack's room.

Zack didn't went to his bed yet and instead sat down on the couch at the living room, while looking at the ceiling he sighed.

Zack's not an idiot who couldn't read the situation, he knew from their behaviour and body language about what was going on in their minds.

When he asked them to move into this house with him, he wasn't thinking of this type of stuff in the first place.

He wasn't that desperate to force himself on a woman, not to mention that they were not the only beautiful ones in this world, with his strength Zack could just conquer the whole world and then many woman would again want to be in his bed, but….

The main issue was that he wanted to be loved instead of respected and feared, right before when he was about to die on that plane crash in his last life...

The moment when his fianceè kissed him, he for a moment felt like living but that was only for a second, after that his condition returned to usual.

He only now realized after coming to this world that what he was feeling was love, the emotions that he was bottling up were opened when she kissed him, but the sad part was that they were separated after that…

Zack who had felt such a emotion of being loved by someone got addicted to this feeling and longed for someone to look at him with the same love and gentleness as his fianceè in his last life…

When he just saw the girls before they went to their rooms, what he saw was fear and worry, they were worried about themselves…

He admitted that they had every right to be distrustful towards him, they should be worried, after all they are living with a man much stronger than them, but even then the pain Zack felt in his heart at that moment was a wake-up call for him.

'What am I even doing? To force them to live with me? Something must be wrong with me?' He was so blind over chasing after that feeling, that he didn't even considered his actions twice, he again realized that he was just using the fact that he was powerful to do his biddings.

'Why did I even think that they would feel something towards me? Because I have power? Or because of my good looks? Or the fact that they don't have any other choice?' As he thought more and more, he realized how stupid his actions were till now, from the deal he offered to them and the way he dealt with chu yueli, he was acting just too impulsive just because he wasn't afraid of anyone.

He closed his eyes with scrunched brows, the milk had already spilled so their is no use to cry over it now, Zack knew that there are chances that he will still take some decisions that he will later call stupid but at least he will try to be more mature and thoughtful next time.

He didn't wanted to go to sleep so early, so he decided to just go do some work… Just as he got up from the couch, a screen popped up in front of him.

Zack read the message and frowned with a serious look "Why is it only evolving now? I wasn't in some sort of trauma for it to evolve…. The only logical reason could be the emotions I felt, it seems my eyes are a little different."

He didn't started the process just yet and instead made his way to a type of underground room, which wasn't under the ground technically.

Basically the house Zack bought was a type of a big island and a house on it, so basically this room can still be called basement?

By the way, this was a training room Zack always wanted, this room had formations placed on it so that no voice can escape.

The room was somewhat like a modern gym with all the modern equipment he had…

He started the treadmill machine and started running, obviously this was not an simple treadmill, Zack has personally placed runes and small formations on all these equipment making the dumbbells and weights more 'heavy', for the treadmill he placed a formation so that the one running on it will be under a gravitation pressure to make it more harder.

Zack of course didn't even break a sweat even after running on it for 10 minutes, he wasn't here to train in the first place… He used running as a medium to clear away all the thoughts he was having earlier.

He could've used 'Calm mind', but it was all about personal satisfaction, he felt much better when he didn't entirely relyed on his skills.

Zack then opened the notification again and accepted both of the messages at the same time.

He felt that his eyes are burning from inside, it was like someone was putting needles in them, he closed his eyes and put his hands on them but didn't let out any sound.

It took only a few minutes for the process to finish, much earlier than he expected, when he opened his eyes, he saw a screen in front of him

He released a short sigh and again accepted, the pain this time was not that much compared to the last time so he wasn't bothered that much.

He looked around to see any change but apart from more clear visions didn't found anything else.

He then opened a door that was on the opposite side of the entrance of the room and went in.

Inside the room was what anyone would easily be able to recognize as a typical forge for blacksmithing.

Zack had learned the blacksmithing skill long time ago and had no qualms in making his own weapons,

He was more of a katana lover, he used to think that shape and the style of katana of using a katana is awesome.

In the anime's and manga, he would subconsciously hope that the protagonist uses a katana as his weapon, but unfortunately only a few of them choose a katana for some reason.

Zack wanted to know if there was any flaw or disadvantage in using a katana by using it himself, he wanted to know why most of people neglect it to use a sword?

This is the first time he was hyped to make something, previously he only made some swords to test his ability…

But this time the case was different, this time he put all of his concentration, effort and mind into this work.

He bought Adamantium from the shop as the metal he will use to make his new weapon, he couldn't think of any stronger metal at the moment.

Adamantium was said to be virtually indestructible, even it can't cut itself. Now molding it into a katana would've been a very difficult job naturally but he was not a normal person in a normal world.

He picked up a hammer and placed some strengthning runes on it, on the other he placed the metal in the forge and used his newly acquired Amateresu flames to heat it.

Watching the color of the metal change to orange, a grin crept up to his face…

"This is going to be fun…"

A few hours have passed since Zack started the process of forging a katana for himself, he was standing their drenched in his own sweat while looking at the blade in front of him.

He didn't thought that this will be so…. Fun!!! He didn't felt so challenged and excited by something since he came to this world.

Even after using Amateresu flames on the Adamantium, it was awfully hard to shape the blade. Sure… he had his strength stat at 999 but the problem was that he had to adjust his strength so that he didn't deform the blade too much.

It was very annoying when he could only use a portion of his own strength and when the metal was bending, he used some more strength to find out that he used more strength than necessary.

But even after that, he didn't felt distracted the whole time, it was like his whole purpose in this world is to make this blade. He felt annoyed when making the blade, excited when the blade was taking shape and happy when the weapon was finished.

Such rollercoaster of emotions made him lose the track of time, he opened his system and saw that it was already 3:00 am in the morning.

'Should I go rest now?' He wondered with a thoughtful expression, but looking at the newly made treasure in front him he showed a grin and said "Nah! Let's first complete the blade."

The weapon was complete in itself but it was still not on the level to be able to clash directly with someone.

He now only had to place runes, formations and infuse his understanding of laws into this katana.

Till this point, any blacksmith would able to perform the same feat as him with enough resources but the difference would now start showing...

First and most important thing was to make it more stronger, Adamantium was surely a nice metal but in this type of world where people use profound energy, it couldn't really hold its candle.

He placed runic symbols on the blade of the katana, running across the edge of the blade.

These symbols were placed to make the blade of this weapon truly indestructible, even someone at the divine master realm wouldn't be able to even make a dent on it.

Then he placed a formation on it which would give it a very important component of being weapon. The formation would make it possible for it to generate the same effects as in the breath styles in demon slayer.

He was always a sucker for demon slayer anime, the breath styles and the effects of the swords were just cool, but when he came to this world and understood the laws of all elements, he unfortunately found out that it was basically impossible to do it... So he had to find some loophole in that.

Last thing was to add his understanding of laws and elements into the blade which would make it possible for him to use elemental attacks with his weapon.

It sounds very simple to fuse laws in a weapon but in reality it would be as hard as standing at the Checkout in a Supermarket Without Looking at What The Person in Front Has in Their Trolley.

*Cough**cough* by the way back to the topic, it was awfully hard which only someone who has reached the Pinnacle of weapon making could do.

The katana buzzed as he drew some symbols in the air which contained the laws and fused them when it.

He picked up the one handed katana with his right hand while holding his chin with his left one while a proud expression adourned his face.

He instantly teleported above the wasteland of death, at the same spot he was when he initially arrived in this world.

He unsheathed the katana and a blade as black as the void itself could be seen which would give anyone a sense of dread and alarm to stay away from it.

Zack got into a stance and took a deep breath, the particles in the air felt attracted to his body, he closed his eyes in rapt attention, this moment was the dream of many, he wanted to savour this moment for as long as possible!

He suddenly opened his eyes and then shouted while drawing his weapon back "Water breath!"

He then swung his katana horizontally in a graceful manner as he shouted

"1st form!!"

"Water surface slash!!!"

*swoosh* *Boom* *boom*

A blade of the katana made a whistling sound while a form of water appeared on the edges just like in kimetsu no yaiba.

An loud cracking sound could be heard to thousand miles, Zack looked at the scene below him with a satisfied smile on his face…

Where once various trees and profound beats were inhabiting the area, only the grazed trees and a large straight crack on the ground could be seen.

From his eyes, he could see that the crack formed was very deep, going to the core of the planet.

This was just a casual swing he made without even putting slightest bit of effort, if he was serious then even all the divine masters together wouldn't be able to block his strike.

He then used the earth element to make amends to the destruction he has caused, after that he used life element from 'life and death' to grow back the trees, as for the unfortunate beasts that were killed, he could only feel sorry for them.

He reported back to his forge, he went back to the gym room and then opened the door of another small room.

Zack had rooms for training, blacksmithing, alchemy and even a separate room to place important things in basement.

The room he opened was the room where he placed the important things, he placed the Katana on a shelf in this room, while standing in front of the shelf he firmly said

"From today onwards I will call you 'psyche cutter'."

He gave a last look to PC(psyche cutter) and then left the room and the basement.

The first thing he did was to take a nice and long shower to rinse away all the sweat and odor from his body…

Walking out of the shower he felt refreshed, he was about to go to sleep when he recalled that he isn't alone tonight and there was someone else in the house also.

Using ability from byakugan, he saw through the walls and saw that both of the girls were sleeping soundly, a small smile appeared on his face but someone who could read people would be able to easily tell that it was a sad smile....

He didn't stand on ceremony and proceeded to reach his room and snuggle into his warm blanket.

Next morning Zack woke up when the light from the sun touched his eyes causing him to pull up the blanket to his face.

He took another minute before leaving his bed and entering his bathroom to wash his face.

The first thing he did every morning was to make himself a cup of strong coffee, to be honest he was addicted to caffeine in mornings. He made a mental note to find a way of making coffee in this world since the stock provided when buying the house was getting empty.

He took a sip and couldn't help but but release a soft sigh in satisfaction, he heard some noice and footsteps approaching…

He looked up to see Qingyue was coming towards his way with sleep visible on her face, he chuckled a little as he thought that her appearance looked kinda adorable right now.

"Good morning." Qingyue greeted first when she noticed his presence.

"Good morning, I hope that your first night here was comfortable." Zack greeted back while asking her casually.

Qingyue just nodded her head and sat down in front of him, Zack guessed that she didn't got much sleep from her expression and he also knew why?

He sighed internally and decided to help her a little bit "You look sleepy, Qingyue. Let me make a cup of coffee for you."

"No! it's alright, I don't want anything." She instantly refused since she didn't knew what coffee is in the first place and she didn't wanted to bother him.

Zack ignored her protest and made another cup of coffee for her, he came back after a few moments and placed a cup in front of her and motioned for her to drink it with his head.

Qingyue slowly picked up the cup and took a sip carefully, her expression changed as she immediately exclaimed "Bitter!"

Zack giggled at her response and said "Just continue drinking it and you will see…"

Qingyue although reluctantly continued to drink, after a few more sips she realized that this isn't that bad…

Instead it started to taste more… refreshing? She didn't knew the exact term but she still liked it.

"This isn't that bad!" She stated with a little surprised tone as she didn't expect for it to be so good.

The taste wasn't exactly delicious but it still makes you crave for more.

Zack gave a proud smile causing Qingyue to roll her eyes at him.

"Lingxi isn't up yet?" He asked as he finished his coffee.

"It seems so." Qingyue replied in a calm voice.

"I will wake her up." Qingyue said and then stood up after finishing her beverage.

She knew lingxi's room as it was just beside her own room, so she quickly got there and knocked on the door.

"Sister lingxi, are you still sleeping?" She spoke in a soft voice, even after a few moments she didn't got any response so she opened the door and found lingxi sleeping with a serene expression on her face.

Qingyue sighed when she saw this, she herself couldn't slept whole night due to anxiousness, when it was already past midnight she unknowingly fell asleep, she woke up when she heard noise from the kitchen but only she knew how difficult when she finally fell asleep and had to wake up in 2-3 hours.

Lingxi on the other hand continued sleeping without caring about the reason why they were here.…

Qingyue arrived at lingxi's side and gently shook her body a little to wake her up while saying "Please wake up, sister lingxi."

After a few moments of effort, lingxi's eyelids fluttered open and the first thing she saw was the face of Qingyue, they stared at each other for a few moments until lingxi finally realized what was happening and everything that happened yesterday.

She immediately sat up on her bed and asked Qingyue "Sister in law, am I too late?"

Qingyue shook her head while sighing, she has already given up on making lingxi call her something else than sister in law.

"No, me and Zack also woke up just a while ago."

Lingxi took a sigh of relief when she heard Qingyue's words, after all she wasn't a guest her or… in fact, she didn't know what was her status in this house but it would be called rude to wake up so late in someone's house.

Lingxi went to the bathroom to adjust her hair and wash her face while Qingyue just stood in her room while feeling a little awkward.

Zack was already done making breakfast for everyone when he sensed both the girls coming to the kitchen.

"Wait on the dining table, food is almost ready…"

Lingxi wanted to voice out that he didn't have to make breakfast for them but stayed silent, since she woke up late and she knew Zack cooked better than her.

They are breakfast while sometimes having casual chat which was mostly initiated by Zack and they both will just reply to him.

After they finished eating breakfast, Zack turned towards the duo and said "From today onwards, I'm going to train both of you and help you both in cultivation, is that clear?" His tone held not even a single bit of doubt like he will not take no for an answer.

The duo replied positively, Qingyue was more than happy to be trained by someone powerful while lingxi just didn't wanted to be left out.

Before training he gave them some women gym clothes and told them to change into them much to their dissatisfaction, they said that the clothes were tight and they felt like they were being bounded. As they were uncomfortable to be in just their top, Zack also gave them a hoodie, their whole attire was black in color.

He exited the house and arrived at the large area in front of their house, he turned to face them and said

"What is your goal? I don't mean your goal in life but the cultivation realm you want to reach?"

Both the girls were silent for a few minutes, Qingyue was the first to speak up "I want to become as strong as I can be, I will continue to cultivate till I am sure that I can't anymore."

"I want to become strong enough to protect everything I hold precious to me." Lingxi also voiced out after Qingyue.

Zack nodded his head at both of them and said "Excellent answers, then let me change my question.… how much strong do you want to become in a month?"

The duo of girls was confused at this question? They knew what he mean tbut couldn't understand why he was asking such questions?

Qingyue, similar to last time was the first to answer "I want to breakthrough true profound realm into spirit profound realm." She finished calmly without hiding her intentions at all.

Lingxi was surprised by this as she didn't knew that Qingyue was already at the peak of true profound, but she nonetheless also answered Zack "Of possible, I want to reach next stage of elementary profound."

Zack again nodded his head when he heard their reply, he already knew about their cultivation realms, lingxi was at the 6th of elementary profound but he felt that she didn't had confidence in herself.

He didn't commented about that thought and just commanded them "I want you to do hundred laps around this whole floating island, you can also use your profound energy if you want."

This confused the girls even more as they thought that he was going to tell them to run without using profound energy, what was the point of doing this?

They just decided to follow his instruction rather than arguing or questioning, just as they were about to start, the duo fell to their knees… they felt like a whole mountain was placed on their shoulders.

"Why are you both sitting down on the floor? I told you to do 100 laps." Zack called out to them making their eyes widened, before they felt like it would be a cool breeze to complete the task but now they were thinking if they could complete 1 lap.

Lingxi used all the profound energy she had to at least stand up, her legs wobbled a bit as she tried to adjust to the pressure.

Qingyue saw this and felt ashamed at herself, she knew that lingxi's cultivation was just at the 6th of elementary profound and she herself was at peak of true profound but still thought that it is impossible.

She also circulated the profound energy in her body and stood up with a bit of a effort...

They both started doing their best effort to 'run', Qingyue obviously was ahead of lingxi due to her cultivation realm, Lingxi didn't get disheartened by this and continued chasing after her.

Zack was surprised by the resolve lingxi was showing, he always that she was more of a jovial and carefree type but who knew that she could strive to become stronger.

Zack sneakily decided to put more weight on Qingyue as he felt that lingxi was at a disadvantage here due to cultivation realm.

The effect was instantaneous as both of them were now 'running' side by side.

After a few minutes, they both left Zack's field of vision, he pulled out a trainer's watch out of nowhere and saw that it has already been ten minutes.

After another five minutes, he saw them coming from the opposite direction while their condition was not that good.

Their footsteps were staggering and not in sync, they reached near him with quite some difficulty and looked at him with pleading eyes to stop… but Zack wasn't that soft, especially when this training could make them stronger.

"Don't worry, girls… you just have 99 more laps to cover." He said all this with a sweet smile on his face but the duo didn't felt that it was sweet, it was more like daring them to stop.

The duo wanted to cry but no tears came out so they just again started with their running…

Zack saw their backs and couldn't help but sigh and comment in his mind 'It seems they depend on profound energy too much, even if they should be tires they shouldn't be that out of breath.'

If Qingyue and lingxi heard his thoughts they would like blood and say "You are making us cover a whole floating island with added gravitational pressure and you are now disappointed!"

Zack just shrugged his shoulders and continued waiting for the girl's duo.
