8 Eternal Companion

Finding a secluded place that was peaceful enough to start the spell I made the two hounds guard the area for any people who would get lost or animals who would dare to try and disturb the process.

Getting on my reaper form as a precaution if there is a chance that the summon would be a berserk one and try to attack me.

After getting ready and finishing all the preparations I started the chant.

"As the Grim Reaper"

"Who is looking for a follower"

"with my soul as the bridge from the underworld to eve"

"I call for your help for anyone who dares and seek"

"Come to the place of living and serve me"

The place I was standing on glowed blood red and the hounds who were by my side now their heads as a sign of respect.

The underworld gates once again appear in front of me but this one is blood red with a door full of demons images on it to Devils, Fallen Angel, Werewolf, Oni, Vampire, And Even Some Lich.

There are many more some even look like the evil gods of some religion like the three-headed demon, but they are not lighting up meaning that my power is not enough to summon them.

There was only the Vampire, Devil, Fallen Angel, Werewolf, and Oni.

Thinking about the pros and cons of everyone starting from the Vampires.

They are prideful but beautiful creatures like elves, they can do blood magic and have extraordinary strength and speed, their only problem is the sun but I don't think the curse would work on these vampires because they are fresh from the underworld meaning they are noble blood not just infected who got bitten, there is also the chance of one being a dhampir.

Next is a devil, they are one of the hardest to get along with like the vampires they are prideful but the vampires can handle themselves better than the devils they are easy to anger and hard to control having the stubbornness if the one I summons is a child and being to wrench if the one I summon is too old.

Fallen angels are the ones I like the most to summon because they are the ones with the minimum sin, on how hard the rules are established to the angels and one fault they would fall from grace they are most understanding as well and loyal after all they are still once an angel as long you get their trust they would be loyal to you.

Werewolves, as for this one would be good to have as well but the problem would be the full moon and if ever I don't have enough control over them then It would also be a danger, yes I would not be harmed because of the soul connection but no guaranteed that my companion would be safe as well as anyone around us.

Lastly oni they are the ones with the highest physical strength in all of the options, they are very good at close combat and bord weapon master as long as they practice enough of that weapon, there is also a chance of them having the ability to wield magic at the same time making their destructive force a must to have in war.

Now that all are set in the plan being the vampire the most neutral, the fallen angels being the best, the devils being the worse.

The best one to take should be the fallen angels but the problem is they are also unruly that's why they have fallen and I would need some strength for them to accept me, there is no chance for any weakling they come from the better part of the underworld at least what I am informed to from the skill.

The bad choice would be the devils so I would not summon one until I'm strong enough for me to handle any of them.

And Finally, the better summon to have for now are vampires, they have a noble attitude along with pride so they have no problem serving someone higher than them.

And since I am a grim reaper even if I am weak it would not hinder me too much as long as I do not command them extreme orders they should follow me without any question.

Upon deciding on my choice I decided to rest for a bit because it takes a lot of stamina to use that skill.

Choosing it's my mind the next option that came out was a symbol of a dhampir and full blood which gave me another option to choose from.

Decided to think about the pros and cons again starting from a dhampir.

They are mostly the one who is excluded from the group that even a normal vampire has a higher position than them but still have higher status than the bitten ones, they are half-human and half-vampire from birth having a good amount of potential with it, they are not that prideful but resemble normal people more because of the treatment they receive from their race they are the one to easily go along with.

Full blood, they are nobles, prideful and arrogant but have the strength to back it up, you have to prove you're worthy of you even think of making them serve you, they are very hard to go along with mostly males, many among them think themselves as the perfect race to exist and have thought that others should race should now down and serve them but once you make them now their head they are the most loyal companion to have.

Thinking about the pros and cons again the dhampirs would be much better for him to summon with his current strength because they are easier to go along with rather than the nobles.

Choosing the dhampirs the last phase began for me to choose the gender of the companion I would have to be with and be bound to my soul forever.
