A layer of haze covered the orange sky, the workers of the day going back to their homes.

The town that should be filled with noise was uncharacteristically silent, creating an illusion of calmness and tranquility.

"This should be the place?" Said the young man, standing over an electric pole, staring at the building in front of him—it was under construction.

Since it was already noon, and the working hours of construction workers were already over, the half-made building that showed nothing but a skeleton of concrete was in silence—the machines working over it were closed, silently parked with no one within them.

"The Lesser Air Element did send the signal from here, so the stray should be in the building?" The young man questioned himself. "Should I go in directly?"

Though he could use Tier 1 magic and was a master swordsman, he still didn't dare to enter the building from the front door.

"Since my magic is like a dying candle right now, I highly doubt it would hurt the stray." He said, taking the black katana out of the bag, staring at it. "Thankfully I'd planned for such a situation and asked for a Lightning Sword."

The moment when Kiba had said that he would create a Demonic Sword for him, Noah had already planned a situation where he could use the created sword in conjunction with his magic.

After checking all the 1st Tier spells, he asked for Lightning Sword. It was not because he thought that holding a Lightning Sword would make him look cool.

"Let's enter from the second floor directly." He said. "But let me buff myself a little."

A tingling sensation ran through his skin as if being wrapped into an intangible bubble. It felt great. Maybe it was a psychological thing, but Noah felt more at ease now.

Five spells mean that his MP had dropped to 5. He waited for five minutes while realizing how inefficient he was being. He needed to do something about his MP regen too.

'Maybe I can raise my regen in the store too? I'll check it later.'

Five minutes later, taking a deep breath and lamenting at the fact that <<Sense Enemy>> was a Tier 2 spell, Noah started directing the <<Floating Board>> to move in the direction of the second floor.

With <<Camouflage>> in work, it was difficult to find him. He was like a chameleon, his skin coloring changing to match the environment.

Though he wondered how it worked on clothes since it should be changing the skin color and not the clothes.

While thinking such, he dropped on the second floor, making sure not to create any unnecessary sound. Cautious was precautionary… or something like that.

Inside of the building was dimly lit with the orange glow of the setting sun, silence, and calm. And since it was silent, his steps over the gravel created a sharp sound.

'Guess I'll just fly my way here…' With such thinking, he again stepped on the <<Floating Board>>, like some dark lord with a dark katana in his right hand, he started to sneak his way into the building.

Only a hoody was missing, and he would have definitely looked like some dark lord.

"This might work now." He softly muttered under his breath before activating the magic.

A spell that allowed him to look for a person within a certain range. He had tried using it before, but seeing it not working, he deduced that the target was probably out of his current range.

Like a sudden spark, an image floated into his brain, telling him the position of his target—the stary.

'It worked. Good.' He internally thought while hovering his way towards the target.

Navigating to the place where the compass guided him, the black-haired youth cautiously stared at the amalgamation of something behind the wall.

Long white hair that reached till its lower back, long slitted eyes, a grin over its face. It had four arms, each robust, packed with muscles, and four legs.

Its upper clothes were ripped away, maybe due to the sudden change in its physique, while he wore nothing but rags down there that barely held together, hiding his nether region.

Noah appreciated the fact. He didn't want to see some amalgamation's dick.

It was tall, probably about 3-4 meters. It wouldn't be wrong to say that it looked like a giant.

'If I charge in straight, I'll just get beaten up to death. Better be patient instead.'

While thinking such, Noah raised his hand and softly muttered.

"Hm?" The stray suddenly raised its head in confusion, feeling his eyelids getting heavy. "Am I tired?"

It didn't make sense. Devils were the creatures of the night. Which made them extra active during the night and lazier during the day, so the fact that it was feeling sleepy wasn't something that should be happening.

'Come on dude… sleep… daddy here watching over ya.' Looking at the stray that was frowning while trying to not close its eye, Noah internally said.

His plan was simple. He was going to make the stray fall asleep, fill its surroundings with water, and give it an everyday dose of a taser. Once its muscles tightened, he would finish his job and gain his SP.

The reason why he didn't think of attacking it during its sleep directly was that he was cautious of its instinct, not knowing whether they are sharp or not made him cautious of it.

So with the plan in hand, all he needed now was to wait silently. If one sleep magic didn't work, he would cast one or two more.

So he waited… Time kept on passing slowly, like a crawling bug—soon the sky was already covered in dark with the moon proudly hung up in the sky, overlooking the world in the sun's stead.

The town's people have already walked back to their houses, and with the construction building being in the commercial area, it had become eerily silent.

Noah still stood behind the wall, over his "hoverboard", staring at the now sleep stray. In fact, the stray has been sleeping for a while now, but Noah was being cautious and decided to wait for a little longer.

He didn't want any mistake and be done with the mission in a single stroke of his sword.

'It is enough. Time to add water and then use Ban-kai on Demonic Sword stunning the stray before decapitating it. Everything according to plan.'

With that, he raised his hand to create water but just then he heard a voice that he was overly familiar with.

"Is this the stray? For a stray, it sure is reckless enough to sleep leaving itself open to attack."

As if an electric current was passing through his whole body, his face jerked towards where the voice came from, seeing a beautiful girl flying in the air, showing her shiny meaty thighs.

Leaving that aside, his face scrunched seeing Sona.

'How did she even get information about the stray? No! That's not the problem here!'

"Anyway, Tsubaki, have you secured the area around here?" She turned to her side, calling her Queen.

"Yes, Kaichou. I've set a barrier, so no normal human should be entering this place." Answered the other bespectacled woman with a nod.

"Good." Sona nodded before she raised her hand, and with that raised the beating of certain black-haired youth. "It is a Middle-Class devil, so I can finish it with one strike."

With such thoughts, the air stagnated as water started to gather in front of her. Merging, changing shape, soon forming a huge dragon.

The dragon flew around Sona, revolving around her body. Her violet eyes shining behind her glass under the silent night gave her a mature charm. Her body released a cold feeling, like that of a hunter as she stared down at the stray.

Due to the presence of a Higher-Class Devil, the stray down there shook its eyes open. Despite it being sleepy, the presence of a High-Class was not something that would go unnoticed by it.

So the moment Sona used her magic, its instinct kicked in and it snapped open its eyes.

"A High-Class Devil?!" The stray shouted with shock, staring at the Sona up in the sky, as she stared at the stray without any emotional fluctuations in her expression. "Shit! Don't think you can kill me so easily, bitch!"

The stray shouted, readying himself to dodge the attack while Sona didn't spare it another minute and waved her hand.

The water dragon, receiving the order of its creator, roared as it dived down at the stray, baring its fangs.

Seeing the dragon coming, the stray also shouted as the Demonic Energy rushed out of its body to protect him.

But before the stray could do anything, or before Sona's attack hit the stray, a cry of man entered both of their ears.

"STOOOPPPPP!" Noah, who was watching from the sidelines, shouted. Mana entered his legs, his body blurring as he appeared in front of the stray, stunning both Sona, Tsubaki, and the stary.

"Noah?!" Both Tsubaki and Sona shouted with horror, seeing Noah coming between her attack and the stray. And since she had already released her attack, it was impossible for her to redirect it.

"Even if it's you Sona, I'll never forgive you if you killed this amalgamation of ugly mass!" Shouting, he raised his hand towards the coming dragon.

<<Maximize Magic: Destruction Water>>

"Huh?" A dumbfounded voice left Sona's mouth, as in a blink, the huge dragon that had enough power to completely obliterate a Middle-Class vanished. Yes. it vanished just like that. As if it never existed, it just disappeared from the world.

Sona and Tsubaki's eyes were opened wide as both of them looked towards Noah, who cleared the imaginary sweat from his brows.

"God, that was close." He said before turning back towards the stray, who just like Sona and Tsubaki, stared at Noah with disbelief and bewilderment. Wondering why this human would save him, what made him cautious of Noah more was the fact that he was able to completely erase the existence of magic from a Higher-Class Devil.

"No hard feelings bro, but I need that SP."

"What?" The stray questioned, but Noah had enough of this bullshit.

<<Maximize Triplet Magic: Create Water>>

Without answering the stray anything, Noah used his magic. Three magic circles, each the size of 2 meters, bloomed above the devil, making him cautious. But his cautiousness was for naught as from the magic circle, nothing but a huge amount of water came.

There was no pressure or anything, but just a stream of water that poured out of the magic circle.

"Huh?" The stray looked at his side, seeing Noah standing there with a grin, the katana piercing deep into his leg.

'When did he appear there?' The stray questioned, raising his hand to smack Noah out of existence but…

"Oh, not so fast." Noah's smile widened. "Ban-Kai! Lightning Sword!"

"You—AAHHHHHHHH!" The stray was still in confusion due to the constant stream of weird occurrences, from Noah saving him till him attacking him, only some seconds have passed, which delayed its reaction a lot, resulting in getting attacked by Noah easily.

The lightning poured like an endless sea into the stray's body as water added nothing but an extra touch to all of this.

Sona and Tsubaki looked at the brightly shining stray with frowns.

"Tsubaki… Was Noah always this strong? I didn't even catch him moving between my attack and the stray, also that weird magic that erased my magic."

She could contribute to Noah's sudden appearance over the fact that she was focused on the stray instead, but she couldn't let the fact that Noah erased the existence of her magic by uttering only a single word.

It hurt her pride as the High-Class Devil, especially, when everyone had thought that Noah was weaker than them. The sudden rise in his power was sure to make them wary of him.
