23 CH. 23: Lovecraftian Twist

(A/N: Boys I'm going on vacation for the next two weeks so I won't be able to daily upload. Enjoy this chapter!)

Akira and the three other girls went back to the shores where Saeko was just sitting with the swimsuit given to her and sipping a beverage.

Saeko- "So. Are you gonna explain what happened there?"

Akira- "What?"

Saeko- "Don't act dumb, you know what you've done to those three." She said with a slight red blush of embarrassment on her cheeks.

Akira- "Don't mind us, we're just physically expressing our love ~"

Saeko- "I didn't expect that from someone like you."

Akira then hugged the three devil girls and looked at Saeko with an annoyed look.

Akira- "Don't listen to her girls, she doesn't know we're a couple madly in love."

Ultima gripped harder into Akira with a concerned expression.

Ultima- "Is she trying to? Separate us Akira..?" She said with teary eyes.

Saeko looked at this goofy aah scene and facepalmed.

Akira- "Now that I've noticed, look who's finally worn what I've given him."

Akira pointed at the swimsuit Saeko was wearing.

Saeko- "I didn't have anything on me other than this suit you've given me. It looked expensive so I didn't want to taint it at first." She said.

Akira- "Oh no don't worry about that, I'm just glad that you've put it on~ You look very beautiful~" He said.

Saeko blushed at his compliments and replied with a small "Thank You..".

Akira laughed then suddenly he received a call from Alice.

Akira- "What's up Alice?~" He said.

Alice- (We have an emergency, you have to return to the village)

Alice cut off the communication and Akira wondered what made Alice so alarmed.

Akira- "Hm, there seems to be something going wrong in the original world.."

Testarossa- "If there's something off in our world, then let's go see what it is."

Carrera- "Yes. And my fists are starting to get rusty.."

Saeko noticed their mumblings and asked them about it.

Saeko- "Something happening on the other side?"

Akira- "Yes and we need to go back. You can come with us if you want, but I doubt you'd want to, leaving a country is something but an entire world is something completely different." He said.

Saeko pointed her sheathed katana at Akira.

Saeko- "Who do you think I am, I am completely able to withstand such a change, I've already come so far with you so I am ready for anything." She replied with a wicked expression.

Akira surely did not expect this response, it looked like she was ready for anything to complete her ambitions. He respected that and told her to go change, he was a bit disappointed because he did not have to try anything with her, but it was okay for now.

Akira then used his [Boundary Breaking] and they returned to the world of Tenaura to see what was up with Alice.

[[ After a few minutes ]]

Akira and the four girls in his company returned to the village, which had developed a lot ever since their departure. It had become a very big city with modern buildings and structures.

Carrera- "It quite developed quite a lot ever since we've left." She said.

Testarossa- "I agree, it shows just how much amazing Akira is."

Saeko looked at this with a dumbfounded expression.

Saeko- "Wait do you mean this is your town??" She asked surprised.

Ultima pulled her dress two times and got her attention.

Ultima- "This is Akira's country. It's amazing." She said.

Saeko looked at the long buildings with amazement as she walked with the four throughout a majestic sci-fi city she never saw outside of movies.

They finally reached the town hall where Alice was waiting for them at the reception.

Alice- (You've come back, Master)

Alice had missed her Master a lot ever since he was gone. She had done her best to not disappoint him during his departure, and between us, she was teleporting next to his bed whenever he'd go asleep back in Japan to admire him.

Alice- (Master, I need to show you something I have just received from the other realm, though it must stay private, so I'd like us to be alone)

Akira nodded. He turned to face the girls and talk to them.

Akira- "Hey you four, how about visiting the town while I'm off? It's gonna be boring anyway so I don't wanna burden you."

Carrera- "I don't care, as long as I can be with you." She said with a happy expression.

Ultima- "I wanna stay with you at permanence."

Testarossa- "I sympathize with these two."

Akira- "I promise you that I'll be all yours later so you can just occupy yourselves, I promise it won't take a lot." He said.

After a little thinking, they decided to accept his demand and visit the town as long as he doesn't take a lot of time.

Akira- "Saeko, you can go with them if you want."

Saeko- "I'm fine, I'll sit here while waiting."

Saeko sat on a chair in front of the reception where other people were taking a rest.

Akira and Alice quickly left.

While Alice and Akira were walking away, Saeko was left sitting there trying to comprehend all that was happening, not only did she leave her entire world but she had also agreed on going to incomprehensible places she never thought could, all this for the sake of becoming stronger and following this mysterious man she barely knew anything about.

She unsheathed her blade and looked at it with determination. And then, the person sitting next to her spoke to her about the blade she was holding.

"What a nice sword you have, I've never seen a sword crafted with such an amount of smoothness yet with incredible sharp."

This person who started the conversation was a young teenage girl with a white uniform and little scars in her eye, long black hair, and black eyes with a tint of grey, she also had a sword inserted in her sheath.

Saeko- "Oh, I'm glad you've noticed, it is indeed one of my most treasured belongings, this sword helped me go through a lot back in my homeland." She said while remembering the zombie outbreak and how weak she was in front of those creatures, making her expression switch into a more saddened one.

This stranger saw the switch in the mood of this girl and felt bad for her.

"I'm sorry if I mentioned anything you don't wanna hear about. I'll just shut up hehe.." She replied.

Saeko- "N-No it's not like that. Silly me I didn't even introduce myself, I am named Saeko Busujima. A pleasure to meet you." She said extending her arm.

The girl looked at her arm with a surprised expression before replying.

"Shizue Izawa. It's nice to meet you as well." She said while shaking her arm.

[ Akira POV ]

Akira and Alice were sitting around a table with the two opposing each other.

Akira- "So Alice, what's up?"

Alice- (I've recently received this)

Alice threw a paper at Akira which he caught.

It was a letter, written with an aura of dominance so huge Akira was impressed by it.

He read the contents.

"It's nice to see such an addition to the group, you seem to be an interesting person and you've reached the power worth of an Outer God. That bitch Shub-Niggurath was eager to meet you so I've decided to invite you. Come visit us, I'll give you a surprise~"

And this was the contain of the letter.

Akira had read the letter fully and already had an idea of whom sent it. The letter didn't come with instructions ion on how to join these people nor who are they, but this person seemed to be confident that Akira was powerful enough to figure everything out on his own.

This was the twist to the little world-traveling, they were going into a world more sinister than anything they had ever seen. The Lovecraftian Realm!

The letter Alice had just received was coming from the Outer Realm. This dimension was a plane that existed outside of Reality itself, it serves as a housing place for the strongest beings in existence; Outer Gods, who were the same caliber as Akira.

They were creatures that could erase omnivores and an infinite amount of timelines just by thinking of it. But these nigh-omnipotent gods were nothing compared to their leader and they looked like insects compared to him.

Azathoth was speculated to be able to end reality just by waking up from his slumber, which existence being only part of his dream. However, this power comes with a price, his body is purely unusable, and he is blind, senseless, mindless, and ego-less; An idiot existence capable of destroying reality whenever he feels like it.

Akira was about to meet with these people, he did feel a bit nervous because he was eager to meet with people that had as much power as him, as well as seeing the existence of Azathoth that no soul dared speak of its name freely.

(...)

(To access the Outer Realm, we must first detach ourselves from reality itself) Said Alice.

"What do you mean by detaching ourselves from reality?" Asked Akira.

(It simply means that we'll become completely independent existences, immortal being that even if all of existence ended wouldn't even be flinched by it. Normally it would take an absurd amount of time to do so, but using one of the skills I had synthesized back in the void, we may do so immediately) She said.

"Indeed, now that you've spoken of it, I did nice a weird ability among my skills." Said Akira.

Alice nodded and continued.

(Yes. [Self-Made Artificial Immortality] grants an artificial immortality I had worked on for millennia even while using super speed and [Thought Acceleration]. It grants immortality capable of saving you from the erasure of Outer Gods if they were to reveal themselves as enemies, except Azathoth who I had made a special configuration for him if he were to do something funny against you Master) Said Alice.

Akira smiled and he was starting to get even more excited.

Akira- "Then, let's start this immediately." He said.

Akira then used his <Artificial Energy> to stimulate his existence. [Self-Made Artificial Immortality] got triggered and Akira's mind suddenly blacked out.

Outside of reality, where no soul dared to exist, was an immense Void trillion of times more concentrated and violent than the normal dimensional gaps. A young man was there floating and trebling as his body started adjusting to this outreach void using [Boundless Adaptation].

Akira started waking up and his gaze immediately fell on the immense nothingness and lack of matter surrounding him. Even with his adapting body, he will still be able to sense the dangerousness of this hostile environment.

Akira quickly stabilized himself and created a platform using his special type of energy immune to the environment's type which is his <Artificial Energy>.

Akira glanced around and could from here sense the absurd amount of power of the Outer Beings that was reaching him.

Akira- "So this is the Outer Realm huh? It seems devoid of entities.." He said.

there was no way of contacting Alice nor anyone else from such a distance, this place was outside of Reality, and thus no way to communicate with anyone other than Outer Gods.

It's then that Akira released his full world-breaking unrestrained aura which caused the environment to get more colored in a rainbow aspect. And suddenly, a bridge of darkness started forming in front of Akira, this bridge was building itself at a fast speed while going seemingly to an unknown location.

Akira started walking on the bridge and towards the direction it was going, but it seemed to be a long ride so he started speeding up while the bridge adjusted itself to Akira's speed.

The existence around Akira started to feel even stronger and more omnipresent, it was a sign that he was getting closer to meeting with them. Akira got even faster and the bridge began building itself with even bigger velocity.

Akira- "This shitty-ass bridge is fucking mocking me.." He mumbled.

Akira then used some of his <Artificial Energy> to empower himself and his speed got so fast even the bridge wasn't able to keep up. And when Akira passed the bridge in speed, it stopped building itself and froze completely.

The bridge started breaking and crumbling and the surroundings got so dark Akira couldn't see shit, he started hearing inhuman screams and shouts of despair coming from every angle as well as loud distorted laughter.

Akira- "What the hell is this place?!" He said in frustration at not knowing what was happening.

His vision started blurring as he became completely blind, even by using his abilities he wasn't able to distinguish anything due to the darkness of the environment.

But then, the screams stopped and Akira's vision began healing itself. He looked around to see where he was but his gaze fell on something so fascinating it was impossible to look elsewhere.

His gaze fell on the immense quantity of tentacles, limbs, teeth, and mouths on the absurdly colossal creature. It was inhumanely describable and glancing at it for too long caused insanity, the creature was sleepy, yet it felt like it was aware of Akira's existence. It looked dead but omnipresent at the same time, it did not represent anything yet it felt like this creature was a combination of everything.

It's then that Akira realized that this creature, was 'Him'. The ruler of all outer gods, the strongest creature, the fully omnipotent creature, the sultan of everything, the only boundless existence.

Azathoth, in his hibernation state.

Akira was shocked because the fan arts and illustrations he had seen of him were nothing like the actual deal. He was frightening, even with the strongest fear resistance, it was still impossible to not feel threatened when looking for too long at such insanity.

Akira- "So this is him. Azathoth." He said.

"Yeah, I'm a fat cow aren't I?" said a stranger that just appeared beside Akira.

This guy had even rested his shoulder on Akira yet he wasn't able to feel his presence at all.

Akira jumped in surprise and so did this guy who looked with confusion at Akira. He was a tall boy with weird-looking clothes that Akira never saw alike.

Akira- "Who the fuck are you?!" He asked in surprise.

This dude looked at Akira dumbfounded while scratching his neck.

"Who am I? I'm Azathoth you dumbass.. HAH!! You're an Outer God and you weren't even able to recognize me hahaha!" Laughed Azathoth.

...

"What?! You're Azathoth?!!" Shouted Akira in pure surprise.
