Chapter 11- Creating the Game

It took Cryd a long time of thinking and decision making before finally choosing Real Steel, simply because he knew he lacked experience to make large games like HTTYD, especially game design, sure he has a good foundation but with no experience he will just crash the game and make a lot of mistakes.

In which will destroy the potential of the game to be big/popular, once it was done, Cryd started planning the full gameplay, the only things he planned so far were the basics and not the whole one, but because of the basic plan earlier, he now has the foundation to make it more interesting.

Anyway, first thing first is the world setting and background, Cryd could have just used the current earth as the template but let's be honest, that would be too boring, and so to add some spice. Cryd had to make the earth in the game a little more sci-fi.

In terms of technology level, they had already started colonizing mars a few years ago and had already started traveling around the whole milky way galaxy, and so, there are already spaceships, robots, etc.

Those were basic stuff and Cryd was able to create a detailed world in just an hour, it was no different from making novels and manga, Cryd already had a lot of experience with this, which is why it didn't take a lot of time.

Next is the gameplay, when Cryd was planning this game, he emphasized the freedom of players creativity, they can build unusual robots and any robots they could think of, heck, if they know, they can even make bumblebee or optimus, well, as long as they have the materials and the ability to make them.

Anyway, to make this gameplay possible, Cryd just have to add somethings over here and there, and fuck tons of codes ran inside his mind just to make this possible and from his estimation he needed years to make this possible.

Cryd couldn't help but massage his temple as he thought of this, anyway, he needed to make the data possible for players to attach parts to the robots, and with his estimation of items he needed to add at the game to make it have a rich content, there are going to be about minimum of 200,000 items that were needed to be added to the game.

And each items must be unique from each other and has their own rarity, all in all, the scale of Real Steel is much even larger than RPG PC versions, and since Real Steel is a VRMMORPG game, you just can't help but think the amount of work needed to just make this game.

Fortunately! Cryd has the Multiverse Internet Cafe system, which promises to make the process of making games easier, he trusted it a lot.

Cryd added a lot of things in the gameplay, ot just the attachment but also the real physics to the game and a lot of sci-fi engineering stuff, and so in the end, he spent 9 days making this plan.

Thankfully, he worked smart to not start the mission immediately or the time he had won't be enough, he noticed that it wasn't business days but 20 normal days, which will take a lot of his time since just the planning phase alone might take more than 20 days.

Anyway, after the gameplay, next is the art design of the game, since it was a VR game, Cryd needed to make it high quality, if possible, he wanted to make it realistic, he wanted to make the players feel like they are in another world, where they are a new person, wanting to create their dream robot and showing it to the world, like they living a new life.

Thankfully for this, Cryd didn't have to spend a lot of time and he found out that the system will provide him with some templates for the art and it just needs a little of his refurbishing, Cryd was very happy with that.

After that he did a lot of things and in the end he spent half a month just for the planning phase to finally finish,

Thankfully, Cryd didn't stress a lot about it since he took his time making the plan, unlike the first mission where the quest started the moment he saw it, this one needed for him to accept it to start, once he finished the planning phase, he rested for a few days, spent his time with his family and also checked the progress of the Internet Cafe, from estimation, it will be done by next month.

Cryd then finally accepted the mission and after that he received a lot of knowledge about creating VR games and from the knowledge he got, he knew it was a hundred years ahead from the current technology of this world.

He also received the Black Tech Game Engine, it was much more advanced than the knowledge he has received, the game was simply like a work of god, it has high optimization and it could easily compress a brontobyte size file into a gigabyte.(Brontobyte is higher than terabyte)

It also has easier functions in making games, it has tons of templates to help game developers in making games and each of them are high quality, it has 2d, 3d, realistic templates, it also has complete functions of physics, chemistry, weather function, etc.

Simply, anyone who uses this game engine will feel like they are gods creating a world, well, enough boasting about what he received, to use the game engine, Cryd needed to enter the VR Pod in which he did and after that he entered a white empty space.

Floating words appeared in Cryd's view, he then selected a new project and immediately, the words in front of him disappeared, and were replaced by panels of drawings.

There was a planet, in which Cryd found out as world creation, it has the functions of creating a world, it can be a flat world, circular world, the galaxy, etc.

He then started by choosing a circle world, immediately, a circle appeared in front of it, but it was blank, there were no land, sea, nor anything, it was just a blank white empty sphere and after choosing it, an option of choosing a template appeared in front of him, there were mars, earth, venus, etc, a lot of planets were part of the template, and without wasting any time, he chose the planet earth template.

After that, the empty white spear, started changin, first the sea appeared covering the whole sphere, then land started to emerge out from the sea, they formed what is the same as earth, next is the lifeforms, unfortunately, civilizations weren't part of the template and it only stopped at trees and animals, there were no humans or anything.

But even with that, Cryd is fairly satisfied with what came out, after that, next is the world background, the world background creation is actually quite simple, he could manually place each civilizations by hand or he could build it, or he could just simulate it, letting the world ran at a fast speed then wait for it to turn into his desired era.

But unfortunately in the simulation mode, he couldn't control the direction of the civilization so there is a high chance they will destroy themselves before they could reach the civilization he wanted.

There is also an extra function which is called the Script function, Cryd will have to write a script or a novel, then he could input the world he had written to the Script Function in which will scan the world he wrote then after that, the system will recreate the world using the script that he wrote and recreate it.

Thankfully, Cryd recreated a detailed plan work when he was planning, and just in case, he added a lot more details into the script, he also rewrote the script of the Real Steel Movie and added it, for fun.

Soon, the system finished scanning the script and civilizations started being digitalized, and started merging with the world he created, soon, a fully advanced function world appeared in front of him.

Cryd then zoomed into the world and looked at the humans inside it, they seemed like normal humans but when he looked at them carefully, they were just a bunch of data that were programmed to act like a normal human.

"This is amazing!"

This is the pinnacle of Artificial Intelligence! They act like humans but they clearly follow the rules imposed to them by the system, they won't rebel against the system nor they could be hacked since they are like humans.

Cryd couldn't help but get excited as he came across this, a real realistic game! Something that every game developer wanted to do.

With a lot of excitement and expectations, Cryd then started implementing the gameplay to the world!
