16 Meeting Akito

*Bang*

A metal bat connected to the head of the last zombie. The head was ripped off due to sheer physical strength. It flew and rolled around a bit before stopping.

Akito whipped his metal bat to the side causing the blood on it to splash on the floor, dirtying his boots.

After talking to Saeko he had spent the rest of the day at the couple's house and even slept there, with precautions of course.

After waking up he decided to go to the area where Shizuka's friends' house was. Honestly, he forgot about how it looked on the outward but he should be able to recognize it.

Is what he thought...

But even after 3 hours, he couldn't find it causing him to grumble in annoyance.

Thankfully he had a lot of toys around him to relieve frustration.

Heh.

After another hour of killing and roaming, his stomach grumbled. He had eaten breakfast at the couple's house but he still felt hungry.

Just at this moment, a familiar buzz echoed in his mind.

Looking it over he saw that Saeko had sent him an address along with a message.

[Saeko: Akito, the address I just sent you is where we will be going. Turns out Shizuka's friend is part of the military and her house even has a humvee. I'm still surprised.]

'Nice!' Akito thought.

[Akito: Well that's really amazing. I'll be heading over there then. I'll be waiting for you.]

Akito's message caused Saeko to smile warmly and she responded.

[Saeko: I'll be there soon :)]

Seeing the emoji Akito smiled and headed towards the location. He kind of knew Saeko's situation and her hesitation towards making close bonds.

He had seen her smiling widely and grinning multiple times when sparring but Saeko herself had never noticed it.

He found it cute.

Saeko and the rest were cautiously marching forward. Even though Saeko could easily destroy the zombies around them, she had to consider the others.

She took care of most of them but their speed was slow because Shizuka and Saya didn't have that much stamina, even Kohta was panting.

Takashi and Rei were sweating heavily.

Seeing all this she decreased their speed, giving everyone a chance to rest.

Shizuka and Saya were kept in the middle and Saeko guarded them and the back with Kohta, the zombies at the front were being taken care of by Takashi and Rei.

Their destination was just ten minutes away.

"Haaaa!" Rei stabbed the zombie in front of her and saw another zombie approaching from the side but Takashi smashed it with his baseball bat.

At the backside, it was more relaxed because they were walking through lanes and only had to deal with ambushes. Any approaching zombie would be shot by Kohta. He had quite a lot of nails left because Saeko had taken care of most of the zombies at school.

When Rei or Takashi got tired Saeko would take one of their places to allow them to recover.

All in All, they were working as a perfect team all thanks to Saeko.

After about 5 minutes they were about to reach the house when suddenly they heard a bang!

It wasn't very loud but it was clearly audible.

But it didn't stop there, several more striking sounds entered their ears, which was quite eerie since they couldn't understand what was happening.

The group tensed up and grew wary while Saeko's eyes lit up.

'Is it...'

She picked up her speed and the moment the group came to the end and turned right they saw a shocking scene.

Numerous zombies were sprawled across the ground. Several of them had their heads either half-smashed or completely destroyed. The whole street was covered in blood and in the middle of the bloody street was a person standing with a metal bat.

He was soaked in blood.

He had long black hair that almost fell to his shoulders and a fit body. It wasn't filled with muscles but appeared very well maintained.

The person raised his head from the zombie he just killed and looked towards them. Saya and Kohta gulped in fear while Rei and Takashi nervously tightened their grip on their weapons.

They had been through so much in a single day but... but nothing compared to the creepy and gruesome sight in front of them.

Suddenly under their shocked gazes, Saeko ran over while jogging and started talking with the said person. They also stepped forward and saw the man happily talking with Saeko.

He seemed about the same age as them.

Saeko brought him over to them and introduced him, "No need to be cautious, This is my friend Akito."

Rei tilted her head in confusion before her eyes glowed, "Are you Saeko-san's boyfriend?"

Akito tilted his head in confusion.

"Huh?" "What!"

Takashi and Kohta had their mouths wide open in surprise.

They suddenly remembered the rumors in school. Saeko had skipped school for a week to enjoy her time with her 'secret' boyfriend. But most didn't believe it because, why would she skip school for such a reason?

Of course, his rough description was also spread. Long black hair and black eyes? Check. Handsome face? Even though there was blood on his face it didn't hide his charm, Check.

Of course, the main reason was how happy Saeko seemed with him.

Having the same rumor be said in front of Akito caused Saeko to be slightly embarrassed.

*Cough*

"Remember the girls from the grocery store? They were mistaken and started spreading rumors."

"Pfft, hahahaha," Seeing Saeko's embarrassed expression Akito started laughing loudly which contrasted to the atmosphere, "Ahaha, Well Hello, I'm Akito Raijin, and no I'm not Saeko's boyfriend but we're close friends."

Seeing that he was quite friendly the others felt their hesitation leave and joined in the chat.

"Oh," Rei nodded in understanding, She looked towards the mess on the ground and asked, "Do you practice some kind of martial art."

She was curious since she practiced spear arts and Saeko practiced the sword, then as her close friend, Akito probably practiced something too.

"Well, Hand-to-Hand Martial Arts."

Takashi didn't say much and Saya overcoming her initial fear chirped out, "Hey! I think we should head in instead of chatting here, I want to take a bath already!"

Rei nodded, "Yeah, Let's go in."

Shizuka came forward with her breasts bouncing and asked Akito with concern, "Are you injured anywhere?"

Akito's eyes quickly turned from her boobs to face, he wasn't a lecher but he was still too amused by the way boobs danced in this world.

Akito raised his hand to stop her from approaching him, "I'm fine no need to worry, and I'd rather bath first before someone gets near me."

Shizuka pouted but agreed, "Okay~" With that, she started skipping and jumping over the pile of zombies to reach the entrance of the house.

"Yeah, you really stink." Was what Saya wanted to say but remembering how he was standing among the zombie corpses the words got stuck in her mouth.

Under Akito and Saeko's lead, they entered the house.

Akito immediately handed his bat to Saeko and went to take a bath. Saya's eyes widened and she immediately ran after him while yelling, "Wait I want to take the bath first, Ladies firs-"

*Slam*

Akito didn't bother listening to her and slammed the door shut at her face.

"Hahahah,"

The rest of the group laughed at her and Saya grinded her teeth in embarrassment.

"Stupid! Fool! Idiot!" She softly grumbled in anger before plopping down on the ground from exhaustion.

The rest of the group followed her and sat on the ground, finally being able to relax after so long made them sigh in relief.
