Sudden Boss Battle!?
Today is my third day at this preschool so far, Shiro and his friends asked if I wanted to play sword fight again, and I agreed because I had nothing better to do after all.
Shiro seems to improve with every move he makes, he slowly catching up with me and he might even be able to defeat me one day, but that's a long way he'll have to come.
But still, I'm satisfied with his growth some far and I have expectations for him and his future, hopefully, he can fulfill them.
Of course, I still won every fight because of the swordsman class, which instantly allows me to learn sword techniques and perform them with perfect accuracy, kind of like muscle memory.
A boy with scruffy brown hair and teal eyes runsiver to me with two of his friends behind him and starts speaking " Hey, I'm the best swordsman around here and the future greatest hero too, and I challenge you! " the boy pulls out a plastic sword and points it at me.
I chuckle inwardly, well I guess I'll entertain this child for a bit.. I pull out my plastic sword too, and the boy slowly counts down, after the boy finishes counting he runs at me recklessly.
I easily dodge all these reckless swings, the boy then tries to do a shoulder bash but I simply duck down and sweep the boy's leg, the boy falls to the ground I then continue to put my plastic sword near the boy's neck before saying aloud " I suppose I win. " I smile lightly.
But all of the sudden, the boy stands up all the way, planning to surprise attack me, and he succeeds as he rushed straight towards me and does a straight stab into my abdomen with his plastic sword.
My eyes bulge in shock and I step back a bit, holding my stomach in pain mostly because I don't have my class changed to Vampiric Tank right now.
I try to take this moment when I stepped back a little to read the boy's status, but rights I was about to the boy lunged forward, the tip of his sword aimed straight at my chest, so I quickly performed a quick step to the side and slipped past the boy's sword right before it hit me.
Suddenly the boy spun on his heel, bringing his sword around in a wide arc to slash at my legs, but I just gracefully backflip behind the boy, evading the boy's sword slash and countering with a swift backstab, but before it could land the boy's body turns around and blocks it right before it could hit him.
After the backstab was blocked I follow up with a flurry of quick slashes, keeping the boy on the defensive, but right as the last quick slash is about to arrive the boy used his sword to parry it, quickly switching to an overhand grip and delivering a crushing blow to my shoulder.
I grit my teeth in pain and quickly step back, finally, I take this moment to read Tenzo's status, and my eyes widen in shock as I am reading Tenzo's status, understanding why he is so good at sword fighting.

Tenzo pressed on with his attack and rushed toward me at rapid speeds, jumping in the air and using the extra height to deliver a powerful downward strike toward me, I narrowly roll to the left and Tenzo decides to continue his offense, swiftly and fluidly executing a sweep kick which made me lose balance, Tenzo then quickly followed up with an elbow strike to my head as I fell.
Putting me down on the ground from the elbow strike, I hold my head in pain and black flip away just as Tenzo was about to finish me.
I quickly observe Tenzo and spot a minute opening in his defense, deciding to go on the offense, and so without hesitation, I dart forward, I delivered a swift and precise thrust to the exposed area with my sword, Tenzo blocks just in time but with a fierce battle cry I full-on charge toward Tenzo who stepped back after he blocked the previous blow to regain his footing.
I deliver a powerful and fierce overhead strike with my sword, Tenzo blocked it but the force of the blow caused him to stumble backward, leaving him momentarily off balance.
Just as I was about to end the fight a teacher rushes in and stops them, reprimanding them both because of what just happened.
I walk up to the boy and help him up because he fell entirely from the stumble, I then start speaking " That was a good match, my name is Kazuko Nakamura, what's your name? " I ask even though I already know the answer.
The boy looks at the floor gloomily, clearly sad that he lost before speaking " Tenzo.. you can just call me Tenzo. "
I think for a moment before deciding on what to say, smiling brightly I ask " Hey, you're pretty strong.. wanna be friends!? "
" What? " I see Tenzo look at me in surprise when he heard what I just said Tenzl thinks for a moment before agreeing, smiling brightly clearly happy to have made a new, strong friend.
I and Tenzo talked for a bit before I introduced him to Shiro, and the two of them instantly hit and we became a trio, we then decided to go to the park after school and play Dinosaurs, we asked our parents and they agreed.
We play for a little while before I suddenly hear screams all over, crowds of people running away frantically, looking into the distance I see a portal glowing a menacing red color.
My eyes widen in shock because dungeons in this world are usually always blue and aren't red unless a dungeon break occurs, which turns the portal red and makes it emanate a menacing red aura.
Just like when he saw the portal, looking at the portal he tells his new friends to run away, telling them he would catch up and he just had to use the bathroom, looking at the portal he sees monsters seep out of the portal rapidly, killing people all around.
But one particularly large one catches his eyes, black spikes adorning its large body with a purple liquid leaking out of it, purple eyes slowly menacingly.
This particular monster emanates an aura way more menacing than the other monsters, it roars the smaller dinosaurs to go berserk, rampaging, I sigh and change my class back to Vampiric Tank, forming a blood knife.
" Seriously.. a boss battle already..!? " I sigh running into the horde of monsters putting all my skill points into blood zone and activating it, forming a blood knife and ready to farm exp.
