A Long Time Skip/Big Shifts

(Author's Note: I have decided to make some huge shifts in the direction of the story. I hope you guys like the new mentality the Main Character will change into. I will not do a content creation arc anymore and will transition into multiverse)

Two years had passed, and I was 19 now since our grand concert tour, and our lives had taken on a different rhythm. Alma, Mercy, and I had fully embraced our roles as content creators, launching our joint YouTube channel and our individual channels as well. With Alma and Mercy's striking looks, coupled with our natural chemistry, it wasn't long before we had amassed a dedicated fanbase. Alma's knack for manipulating algorithms certainly didn't hurt either.

While we continued to generate wealth through stocks and "New Table" investments, the years hadn't been without their challenges. I had battled a lingering numbness and depression that seemed to have settled over me like a heavy cloud. It was as if I had become disconnected from the world around me, and the people who had once filled my life were now busy with their own paths, transitioning into college and moving on.

I understood that everyone was changing, myself included, but it didn't make the sense of isolation any easier to bear. The few friends I had left were drifting away, and the chasm between us seemed insurmountable. It was a heartbreaking realization, one that left me feeling adrift.

In those moments of despair, I found solace in the company of Alma and Mercy. They were my steadfast companions, my confidants, and my creative collaborators. Together, we navigated the challenges of our new life, using our content creation as a way to connect with the world and express our thoughts and emotions. Weirdly these soulless husk of flesh were my only deep connections in this world.

With the world's problems on a daily basis, I couldn't help but grapple with the feeling that I should be doing more. Guilt gnawed at me, a constant reminder that with the powers I possessed, I could make a significant impact on the world. But the weight of that responsibility was immense, and the knowledge that it would bring an unrelenting burden of stress and scrutiny made me hesitate.

I wished more than ever that I could travel the multiverse, exploring different worlds and experiencing new perspectives. It was a yearning deep within me, a desire to escape the confines of my own reality and seek answers to the questions that weighed on my soul.

As I looked to the future, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to balance the extraordinary gifts I had with the ordinary desires of a young man searching for meaning in a world that seemed increasingly complex and distant.

Attempting to feel the void of problems and despair, I made an attempt at romance. I had briefly entertained the idea of opening my heart to someone new, hoping to find a connection that could fill the void left by lost friendships.

Two individuals entered my life, seemingly drawn to the wealth and status that came with my newfound fame. They were charming and beautiful, their words honeyed with flattery and affection. But as time passed, it became clear that their intentions were far from genuine.

They reveled in the extravagance of my lifestyle, relishing the materialistic and physical pleasures that came their way. It was as if they were more interested in what I could provide for them than in who I was as a person. The discovery left me disillusioned, reinforcing the feeling that the world I inhabited was fraught with superficiality and ulterior motives.

It was a lesson learned the hard way, a stark reminder that not everyone who entered my life did so with sincerity and authenticity. 

I was reminded once again of the value of trust, loyalty, and genuine connection in a world that often seemed driven by superficiality and materialism.

(Author's Note: Next Chapter will be a flashback to these romances which will be short and then we will go into our first other universe, let me know some universe you have in mind, I certainly have some ideas)
