67 Khaos Brigade Attack II

*Issei Hyoudou POV*

"Ise! Behind you!"

"Got it!"

I punch another mini dragon that is coming toward me and destroys it instantly.

After Vali betrays us, the enemy begins to attack the city and try to destroy it. Lucky for us, the city lord, Lexian Vongola, ordered his man to create an emergency barrier around the city to hold the enemy for a little bit. While the barrier only holds them for a few seconds, it is long enough for the leader of Three factions to finish their attack and kill many of the evil dragons that use their fire breath to attack the city.

Right now, My fellow peerage member and I are protecting the healing place where a member of the Vongola family is healing the one that got injured by the enemy.

'Partner! Dodge!'

After hearing Ddraig's word, I immediately leap away from my current position.

*Boom*

I look at the one who attacked me and saw Vali floating in the air in his Balance Breaker mode.

"Vali, Why are you doing this?"

"..."

Instead of answering me, he only stayed silent and didn't move from his position.

"If you didn't want to answer me, then I will beat you until you answer my question.

"Dragon Shot!"

I look up and see my attack hit him, but to my disappointment, It did not do anything to him.

"Hmph, weak."

Suddenly Vali disappears, and I can feel unimaginable pain in my back. I also can feel my body get thrown away by his attack.

"Is this all your power, Hyoudou Issei? Is this all the power the Red Dragon Emperor has? What a disappointment. Ah! How about I kill your parents? It will motivate you. It also makes their life more dramatic. It makes a more interesting background story for you, Hyoudou Issei."

"You…"

"Oh? Is it not enough to motivate you? Then I guess I can…"

"Shut up!"

"Oh? Really? With your current strength? I don't think so. We are supposedly an eternal rival but look at you. You can't even be compared to me with your current strength. You look like a grain of sand compared to me, a mighty star."

I snap from my thoughts and see a little girl attack Vali with her magic.

Tch, he can block that, huh? But…

'Ddraig, why do I feel threatened by that attack?'

'Because that spell is a dragon slayer spell. The current you will get killed by that attack if it hits you.'

I look at Vali, who still stands there, not moving even after receiving an attack that can kill me instantly.

"Ise! Are you alright?"

I look at my back and see Buchou and the other run toward me. There is also another person walking toward me. It was a woman wearing a nun uniform that I have never seen before.

"I'm okay, Buchou, but we still have a problem."

"Yes. Him. What should we do, Buchou?"

"Akeno, support me with your magic. Koneko, Yuuto, and Issei protect us from the minions that are coming at us."

"Roger!"

Hearing her command, we begin to attack the minion while Buchou and Akeno-senpai fight Vali. I also see the little girl and the woman in nun uniform help Buchou and Akeno fight against Vali.

While Rias and the others fight Vali, we continue to fight every minion that comes to our location until the minion is gone.

"Are you guys done?"

"Yes, Issei-kun"

"En, Senpai"

After knowing that no more enemy is coming at us, I look at the sky and see the fight between Vali and Buchou. However, instead of looking at the fight between Vali and four people, I see another person helping Vali in this fight.

Three people are helping Vali in this fight. There is a spear user. There is the one that fights using his fist and the one that uses magic.

"We must help Buchou!"

"Wait! Issei-kun! We can't help her in this situation. Not only will we be defeated, but we also become a burden to Rias and the others."

"Then what should we do? I can't just stand here watching Buchou fight."

"We wait for an opportunity. If there is an opening, we will attack them."

"... Very well."

I grit my teeth in frustration because I can't do anything in this fight but watch Buchou and Akeno-senpai fighting the enemy.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

I look at the little girl that fires another stream of tornadoes from her mouth.

'Ddraig, is there a Dragon named Sky Dragon?'

'Idiot. It wasn't a name but the Dragon Classification.'

'That means that attack is the roar of Sky Dragon?'

'Yes. All dragons have different roar, but the most common one is the fire roar. You can say that it was like a dragon breath but more condensed and focused than the normal Dragon breath.'

'I see.'

I look up above the sky and see the fight and hoping that they will win.

*Rias Gremory POV*

"Urgh"

I look at the man in front of me, holding his spear in his hand while an orb floating around him. For some reason, I cannot use my power when I fight him. I don't know how but the man in front of me can disable the power of destruction inside my body for a short time.

"Rias Gremory. What a disappointment you are. I hear you are the so-called Rookies Four, the individuals who have exceptional power than your peers, but you are considered Rookies because of your birth gift and nothing more. When I take away your gift? You are nothing but a weak individual. You know some magic, but you did not train that skill because you are too focused on your gift like the rest of the Devil."

"Who are you to judge me like that?!?"

"Me? My name is Cao Cao. The direct descendant of Hero Cao Cao."

Cao Cao, the Ancient Chinese Warlord and The Hero of Chaos, is the title the past Cao Cao has behind his name. Not only that, the spear Cao Cao holds in his hand is the Strongest Sacred Gear in the world, True Longinus. Even in the presence of this spear, I can feel my whole body screaming at me to walk away from him.

"Elemental resistances rise! Deus Corona!"

"Physical ability rises! Deus Eques!"

"Fast wind that runs through heaven...Ile Vernier!"

"Power of the stout arms that tear heaven...Ile Arms!"

"Barrier of light that protects heaven… Ile Armor!"

Suddenly a surge of power flows through my body, and I can feel my body become more durable and powerful than before. I look at my back and see the little girl that helped me fight the enemy standing there with her arm raised toward me.

"If you can't use your power, then use your fist!"

I nod at her and begin to fly toward Cao Cao. While I'm not an expert in hand-to-hand combat, I know the basics of it. I only need to hold him for a few minutes for my abilities to get back.

"Hmph, a Caster type wants to fight in close combat?"

I ignore his remark and punch him in the stomach. Sadly my punch is blocked by his spear, but to my surprise, Cao Cao gets thrown away by my attack. I don't know what the little girl does to my body, but it increases my physical capabilities by a large margin.

"Urgh, that hurt a little"

I look to my right and see Cao Cao getting up from one of the houses where I punched him to.

"Let us see how long you can fight against me."

When I see him charging at me, I prepare myself for the impact, and when he is about to hit me, I successfully block his attack using my arms, and with the enchantment, the little girl gives to me, Cao Cao attack is not as hurt as before. We continue trading blows, or rather, I'm defending myself from all the blows that are coming my way. While the barrier around me that the little girl creates for me can block most of the True Longinus attack, it can still make my body bleed, and I can feel the pain from Holy energy touching my skin.

After fighting Cao Cao for ten minutes, I can feel my power is back and ready to use, but the little girl's enchantment is also gone.

Seeing that the enchantment is gone, Cao Cao charges at me, intending to finish the fight, but before he can reach me, something hits the ground between the two of us.

I cover up my eyes, and a few seconds later, I see the one on the ground is Vali, with a bit of his armor already gone from his body.

"Vali?!? How about Heracles and Georg?"

I look to the side and see the one Cao Cao called Heracles and Georg already unconscious on the ground far away from my location.

"How?"

"Well, that is the failsafe effect we create inside our potion. If the one drinking it is a member of the Khaos Brigade, they will drink poison instead of the real potions. Congratulations, you played yourself."

"You…"

"Don't worry. Lucky for them, they are not dead because they used the downgraded potion that has been mixed with water. However, unfortunately for them, they will be given to Lady Medea."

After hearing the Nun explaining why his teammate got beaten easily, Cao Cao flew toward his teammate at high speed. Still, before he could reach Heracles or Georg, a massive shadow appeared from the ground with the shape of a hand appearing and grabbing.

"Wendy, please be a dear and take care of the white dragon here, okay?"

"Yes, Sister Cris"

"Good Girl"

In a blink of an eye, the nun disappears and appears near Heracles and Georg's body before creating many magic circles above her and firing her spell, creating continuous explosions.

Seeing that Cao Cao is already taken care of, I look at Vali, who already got up from the ground and ready to fight us with a grin on his face. What a battle maniac.

"Wendy, was it? Do you have a strategy to beat him?"

"Yes, you will be our long-range fighter while I hold him in the front."

"... Are you sure?"

While I'm not that good at fighting in close combat, I can still hold my ground while Wendy supports me with her enchantment.

"Don't worry, Rias-san, I got this! I have been training with my mother!"

With that being said, Wendy takes a deep breath, and I feel the mana around us being sucked by Wendy. Suddenly an explosion happens, and a second later, I see Wendy standing on top of the crater with a typhoon surrounding her like a protective barrier. Her physical appearance also changed. Wendy gains pink eyes together with longer hair, now pink instead of blue, that curves and points upwards. She also has what looks like a feather coming from her back, making a wing out of it, and also, there is a feather on her hand and feet.

"Rias-san! Let's go!"

"Roger!"

After saying that, Wendy disappears and appears in front of Vali and kicks him.

"Sky Dragon's Claw!"

Seeing Vali busy blocking Wendy's attack, I gather a huge amount of demonic power and release it toward Vali.

"Stream of Destruction!"

Vali looked at my attack and raised his other hand, and suddenly I could hear Albion's voice.

Tch, even when fighting two on one, he can hold his ground.

"Not yet! Sky Dragon's Roar!"

The attack continued for another few seconds before our attack completely went and saw Vali still standing. However, I can see the armor has been damaged from our combination attack, which makes me happy that we have a chance to defeat him.

Seeing that our previous attack did not work, Wendy appears in front of Vali and begins to fight him in hand-to-hand combat.

As Wendy appears in front of Vali and attacks him, I create many destruction balls and fire it at Vali. Seeing my attack, Vali throws Wendy away from him and destroys my attack by creating a ball of energy of his own.

"Let's finish this."

After saying that, I can see Vali gather a huge amount of energy into his chest, and I know he wants to use this attack to end the fight.

"Wendy-chan, can you hold him for a few seconds?"

"Yes!"

"Thank you."

After saying that, I gather a huge amount of demonic energy into my body and slowly create a massive ball filled with Power of Destruction. On the other hand, I see Wendy preparing her attack by gathering a huge amount of wind around her arms.

"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Shattering Light! Sky Drill!"

I look up and see the clash between Wendy's wind attack and the Vali energy blast.

Come on. Come on. Gather…. Come on!

After half a minute, my attack is complete. This is the strongest attack that I create with the help of my brother.

"Take this! Ball of Extinction!"

This is the attack my brother helped create with the concept of Black Hole. It will pull my enemy into it and destroy them. However, I still cannot stabilize it so that it will explode and kill anything in its effective range after a certain amount of time. While I can't stabilize it, I create a trigger button for when it will explode. As long as it did not reach one minute mark, I can trigger it to explode.

"Wendy! Get away from there!"

After hearing my word, Wendy deactivated her attack and leaped away from her current position. I look at my attack and see that Vali tries to attack my Ball of Extinction, but to his surprise, his attack doesn't work, and if he tries to divide my attack, it is too late as he will get sucked up inside the ball and die there.

However, to my surprise, Vali can hold his ground and use the magic circle as his foothold to get away from my attack.

Seeing the situation, I decide to detonate my attack in the hope it will defeat Vali.

"Explosion!"

*BOOM*

I see my Ball of Extinction explode and create a dome of destruction. After a few seconds, the explosion is gone, and I can see the result of my attack. To my surprise, Vali was still standing in the air, but instead of getting out of my attack unscathed, he lost his left arm. A second later, the Divine Dividing disappears, and Vali falls to the ground unconscious.

Seeing Vali is down, I release a relief sigh before looking at Cao Cao and the nun's situation. I see that Cao Cao fights both the nun and the rest of my peerage. I can see Cao Cao struggle fighting all of them at once.

When I fly toward my peerage, I hear Wendy saying.

"Why Vali didn't use his Juggernaut Drive?"

I don't know what that means as I only think I want is to help my peerage, and I will think about it later.
