2 Chapter 2

After a long while of driving, they finally reached their destination, Paradise city, and drove into their neighborhood. They stopped in front of a medium sized house with a lovely garden decorating the front.

The two ladies exited the exited and got their belongings to the front of the house. After admiring the house for a while, they both made their way into the house and the first thing they saw was the neat looking living room. Li Na went ahead to sit on the comfortable looking sofa and sighed.

"Finally, we are here. My ass hurts, Yang'er. Do you know how many times I almost told the driver to stop and pull over ah? I did not do it because he looked so impatient and I felt as if he would throw us out of the vehicle. Don't you feel exhausted?"

Xiu Ying laughed and answered, "I do but right now I need a bath." "Always the clean one" Li Na responded. Xiu Ying just stuck her tongue out and maneuvered herself around herself finally finding the bathroom. After a shower, she came out feeling very refreshed. She changed her clothes and walked out to see Li Na looking at her phone intently.

"Yang'er look at your phone. The classes have been assigned." Xiu Ying immediately took out her phone from her bag and looked at her class schedule. Yes, these ladies were in university, and were studying to get their PhD's in Computer Science. Computer Studies was a developing concept in Hongi country, and it had a very good job outlook. the problem was that males had dominated the industry, so these ladies are one of the select few ladies chosen to receive further their studies in their career.

Xiu Ying looked at her phone and checked her schedule and looked towards Li Na. "I have classes until three pm and I am in Mr. Lin's class." Li Na looked at her schedule one more time and saw that she was not in the same class as Xiu Ying.

"I am in Ms. Shen's class. What room is your class?" Xiu Ying looked at her phone and back at Li Na "mine is in room class 230." "Oh. Mine is in class 237. It's not that far, at least we can see each other during breaks and after school, we can still walk back to the apartment."

Later in the evening, they went out to get ingredients from a market nearby and went back to cook dinner. Li Na went to have a change of clothes, while Xiu Ying got straight to cooking. Their dinner consisted of sweet and sour pork, rice and spicy gyoza. Li Na came in the kitchen smelling the aroma of food, and spared no look at Xi Ying and started to dig in.

"Well thank you for waiting for me" she remarked sarcastically at Li Na. Li Na just looked up and smiled, then continued to eat her food. They watched a show until late in the night and the next thing Xiu Ying knew when she woke up and checked her phone was that it was already 10 A.M. She remembered that they had a school orientation at 1:30 P.M.

She shook Li Na "Nana wake up. It is almost 11am." Li Na just groaned and showed no signs of moving. "She's having one of those dreams again." Xiu Ying thought to herself and left her alone.

It was not until 11:30 that Li Na woke up and saw Xiu Ying already in a change of clothes. Xiu Ying looked at her "Hurry up let us tidy up and prepare for the orientation." Li Na was now alert and went to freshen up. By 12:45, they were ready to go, and since it was a twenty-minute walk to the university, they still had enough time to look around the university.

Qing university was one of the best universities in the country, and only the best could be admitted into the university. The unique thing about the university was that it offered no scholarships because they knew that everyone, they were admitting were one of the best in the industry. It was not too pricey either, so people had tried to get in but only a select few were admitted.

Xiu Ying and Li Na were one of those to be selected to be admitted into the school. When the orientation was starting, an announcement was made for the students and the new ones were directed to the hall. The hall was huge with a chandelier hanging off it. You could immediately tell that the school was well off.

The murmurs continued until a man who looked in his late fifties walked out from the back. He looked stern and immediately commanded power. The murmurs immediately stopped, and the man looked over the crowd as if looking at cake batter ready to be baked. He then moved to the podium and cleared his throat.

"Welcome all to Qing university. My name is Liu Wei, but you can call me Head Wei or Chancellor Wei. I am very pleased to see this year's batch looking very good. I have very high expectations for you, and I look forward to seeing your abilities. I will not waste your time, so I call upon the Vice-Chancellor to brief you about what is going to happen.

A man who looked to be in his early thirties came out and introduced himself as Mr. Jing. He briefed us about how the semester was going to be like and at the end of his speech he added " I am pleased to announce that the top three in each category is going to be given an opportunity to work with the companies that specialize in their career field.

I have the president of one of the companies here today, and he is the president of Zhang corporation, which I know may of you know as the best cyber security firm in the country. Today allow me to introduce you to President Zhang."

At that moment, a man wearing a navy-blue suit stood up from one of the seats at the front and made his way up to the stage. He looked to be in his late twenties, had dark hair, and a stern face. He was tall about 187cm and carried a very dominant aura. Murmurs rose again, and this time all sounded female. They were admiring his looks and his temperament.

He got to the podium and adjusted his suit. He nodded at the vice-chancellor then looked at the crowd. At that moment, Xiu Ying and the man made eye contact and Xiu Ying could not help but put her head down unable to look into the man's eyes. He looked to her side to see Li Na look at the man too and knew instantly that Li Na liked him. The man cleared his throat and said in a velvety voice "Good afternoon. I am Zhang Wei."
