The breeze gently blew the blue curtains.

The warm sunlight entering through the open window lit the luxurious room in orange hue.

In the middle of the room, in a bed laid a young women preferably of 20 years old. Her peerless face was pale white as she laid there peacefully. Her eyes were closed and her thick eyelashes dropped gently like butterfly wings forming a shadow on her cheeks gently.

The scene was too peaceful, to be disturbed.

Next to the bed, complex medical machines were present. Counting her rhythmic heartbeat and blood pressure.

The whole room reeked of disinfectant and the constant rhythmic beeps of the machines disturbed the painful silence.

Suddenly she opened her eyes.

Her black eyes momentarily lost focus as she blinked. Her long, curly eyelashes fluttered opened. See could feel that she was lying on a bed, an unfamiliar bed.

The atmosphere reeked of disinfectant .Shen Jian appeared a little dazed she quietly looked at the white ceiling above her.

" Mrs. Lu, Mrs. Lu…..Can you hear me?"

Shen Jian heard a unfamiliar voice and looked towards its direction, to see a man with spectacles and a white coat. Her nerves instantly tensed and a murderous intent surrounded the room. Her eyes darkened as she stared at the person with sharp eyes. Previously she was too dazed and didn't find that someone was near her.

Dr. Kai unknowingly took few steps back in fear as sweat drenched his back. He felt the killing intent from Shen Jian and her eyes staring at him made him feel like a prey. But he shook his head? How can a little girl show this kind of aura. Be knead his temple, blaming the stress and lack of sleep for this confusion. After all the whole Huaxia knew that the wife of Second Young Master Lu was a introvert and timid person, how could she show such sharp eyes.

He peeked at her expression to confirm that it was his illusion yet to find her staring at the outside scenery through the window.

At that time, Shen Jian retracted back her aura confirming that the person had no malice, yet her vigilance was still high as she was in a vulnerable situation. Dr. Kai looked at the young women laying motionless on the bed. Her once glowing peerless beauty now appeared pale and fragile. He was her personal doctor for more than two years and travelled along with her as she travelled across the whole world. He didn't knew if he should be envious or sympathetic of her life. Being born and married in a powerful family was a matter of envy yet the emotional hardship he had seen her suffering even made him breakdown.

Quietly, he checked her pulse and after a series of body check, he confirmed that she was finally out of Danger. Nobody knew how much pressure he was under in the last two days of her being in Coma. If something bad had happened to the Young Madam of the Elite Lu family in his presence, he was good as dead. While he was busy checking, he didn't notice her staring at him in confusion with her bright eyes.

Shen Jian sit motionless as she allowed the unfamiliar man, whom she confirmed of being a doctor check her. Her head was full of thoughts and confusion.

" Mrs. Lu, All your body signs seems good. You will feel little dizzy and will easily get tired during this days but its normal. The wounds on your body are not deep but it will take some time heal.…Please inform me if you feel sick and Steward Gu is out buying medication for you"

Shen Jian nodded listening to the middle-aged doctor. Although she didn't knew what happened and Why the doctor was calling her Mrs. Lu? she was trained to be calm even in the face of death. Taking the prescription from him, she bid him adieu politely.

Dr. Kai gave a last look at her before he walked out of the room while closing the door on his way back.

Shen Jian looked at the closed door, her black eyes dark as an abyss. Her thoughts Scattered as she looked at the luxurious room.

Taking a long breath and calming herself, she tried to organize her thoughts. However an excruciating pain attacked Shen Jian. Her head pounded with intense pain as if thousands of fine needles piercing her . The pain stayed for a minute yet Shen Jian felt like it was hours. Several unknown snippets of unfamiliar memories flooded back and her head pounded in intense pain.

The silk bedsheets under her got disheveled as her body twitched in pain. Her jaw almost snapped as the unfamiliar memories tried to fuse with her own memories. She had never felt this kind of pain.

When the pain finally ended, her whole body was drenched with her . Her previous confused, cautious eyes now amazed and bright.

Shen Jian heaved a sigh of relief for as both the pressing matters ended. Firstly, the intense pain finally ended and she was now able to move her limbs and secondly she got her answers.

She got transmigrated, No! Her soul got transmigrated into a unknown body, in a unknown place or rather in a Parallel World that was different from her own world. It made her both amazed and tremble with fear.

This host, her soul now was occupying was also called Shen Jian like her. Like she said, this was an parallel world and unlike her world where the society was perfect mixture of future and past, ancient and modernity, this world had forgotten the past and the accepted modernization fully.

Her previous world was known as Mocient Era and she was a native of Zhen Nation which was currently ruled by Zheng Dynasty and she was the Most respectable person of the Nation— The Queen.

Shen Jian propped herself up and sat on the bed while leaning against the headboard. Her eyes were closed and her thick eyelashes fluttered beautifully.

Her heart was going through turmoil. In her last life, she spent her whole life fighting the courtiers and paving a smooth, danger-free path to the throne for her younger brother as she once promised her parents. She couldn't enjoy her life nor she had any friends. Her whole life was burdened from responsibilities of the country and family. But she loved her younger brother and didn't regretted anything.

Finally she lost her life due to her terminal illnesses yet at that time she was calm like clear water. She was expecting it . She knew that she had less days to live and thus she lived her life helping her younger brother.

After a long while, she finally organized her thoughts and calmed her emotions. In this new life that god has granted her, she will try to live it fully. She accepts this new identity fully. Different from the previous life, she was now Shen Jian— The daughter of Shen family and wife of the second young master Lu.

At that time, she heard the doorknob rattle.

A middle-aged man entered the room with a tray. Shen Jian recognized the man from the original host memories. The man was steward Gu who had been taking care of the original owner since childhood and was like a family.

The gloomy atmosphere around Steward Gu finally disappeared after hearing Dr.Kai reports. Hearing that Shen Jian woke up from coma and was out of Danger, the stone pressing his heart fell down.

Seeing that it was already evening and thinking Shen Jian might be hungry he quickly cooked a simple- nutritious meal and walked upstairs to her room.

When he saw her sitting on bed with daze, he quickly walked towards her and helped her put a pillow behind her back for her comfort.

Putting the tray on the table on the side, he said, " Little Miss, you scared me to death"

God only knew how fearful he was seeing her falling from the cliff. Fortunately, the rope tied to her body got stuck between two big stones, saving his Young miss life.

Shen Jian looked at the middle aged man and smiled slightly as she apologized.

" Sorry Uncle Gu. It will not happen again." Her voice sounded husky after being in coma yet it couldn't his the attractiveness of the voice.

Uncle Gu grouted his teeth in anger hearing her words." Next time, you still want to do this kind of adventures! From today onwards you are not allowed to do this."

It was the first time Steward Gu used this tone instead of his usual respectable tone. But the situation had thoroughly scared him. He had seen her grow in front of him and she was like a daughter to him. How could he be sane seeing her falling to death in front of her own eyes.

Shen Jian heart swell with emotion hearing the care. Although she knew that the care was for the previous host yet she couldn't help feel moved. Looking at him being angry, she agreed to his orders.

Seeing her nodding obediently, Uncle Gu sighed heavily before putting the tray in front of her. He stayed with her till she finished eating and walked out of the room.

His previous expression changed into a serious one. Looking at the several missed calls on his phone, he frowned. He was a retired military veteran and had great respect for the elite Lu family whose all generation served in military and initially supported the arranged marriage between Shen Jian and the second young master but looking now he was angry and greatly disappointed.

When Shen Jian fell down from the cliff while hill climbing and went to coma, he was quite scared and immediately contacted both the Shen and Lu family. They were in a foreign country with no influence nor any relatives. Yet no one answered it nor anyone cared.

Turning back, he looked at the closed door of Shen Jian room and sighed for few seconds before walking downstairs.
