3 Heartbreak

Year 2020~

Gao He Lan is the most successful businessman. In the business world, he's one of the top billionaire and also the youngest successful tycoon of the MX Empire at the age of 28. Of course, he took over his father's business when he passed away. He may seem aloof to most people but he's very dedicated to his work and also very ambitious. He's blessed with good-looks and strong physique.

There seems to be always rumors about him with different women but to him, he doesn't care about them after experiencing his first love abandoned him for another successful man. She was the first girl he ever cared about, her name was Zhao Ting Ting. After four years, he barely dated anyone nor interested in dating anyone, he only focused on his business and making the business successful.

"President Gao, you have an important speech tomorrow in Macau. We've prepared everything for you. When do you wish to leave from Guangdong?" Gao's assistant and right-hand man, Assistant Hans, waited for President Gao's answer. Gao He Lan didn't waste any second, "Immediately." He only focus what's in front of him but sometimes he thought about the past.

In an black Audi Q3 Quattro, a man came out of the car, he was tall and handsome. He wore his own custom made sunglasses protecting him from the Macau's sunshine. The speech was held in one of his branch in Macau owned by him, Gao He Lan. A group of men and women came out lining up by the entrance. They were well-groomed and welcomed one of the world's richest tycoon, President Gao.

While being so successful, there will always be people who will be jealous of his success. As he walked into the banquet, many well-known people were there to greet him. From famous celebrities to well-known business people.

After finishing up the speech, he was greeted by many celebrities and businessman. He was the center of attention for the night. Many female celebrities drooled over him. Gao He Lan excused himself and called his assistant, "Hans, I would like go to back to the hotel. Pick me up." Hans drove the car to the entrance of the building then opened the door for President Gao.

"Call me up when we're at the hotel, I'm going to nap." He Lan was tired and he barely got enough sleep. Hans nodded and quickly took President Gao to his hotel. The MX hotel is owned by He Lan too. They arrived after 30 minutes.

"President Gao, we've arrived. I'll help you get your luggage and bags." He Lan nodded and waited for him. The hotel manager came out and greeted He Lan, "Welcome, President Gao, let us help you get your stuff to your room. Your room is at the very top with wonderful scenic view of Macau." He Lan nodded and looked at his assistant.

"It's President Gao's gift for you, thank you for your hard work. Hope this amount could help you and your employees." Hans gave the check to the hotel manager who was so ecstatic, "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

When He Lan got into his room, he changed his clothes and took a quick shower. Then, he got himself dinner through room service. He enjoyed his red wine and dinner while looking at the scenery of Macau during night time.

Few hours later, he washed up and rested on the bed. He didn't want to think about work, he just wanted a good night sleep. He Lan was tossing and turning thinking about the past he couldn't get rid of. He never did stop thinking about his first love, "Zhao Ting Ting, where are you?"

Year 2016~

Zhao Ting Ting was waiting anxiously for pregnancy result in the washroom, her period was late so she suspected that she might be pregnant. Unfortunately, she wasn't.

"Why? Why? We've tried so many times, why can't I have my own child?" Zhao Ting TIng teared up as she thought about her other friends having their own children. Lu Ting was at work in his law office when he received the disappointing news. He thought about what he always wanted to do so he called Ting Ting.

"Ting Ting, I'm sorry. Let's break up. You can't have my kids, how am I suppose to tell my parents that you are infertile? Ting Ting, I love you but we can't be together anymore. If you need money, I'll give it to you. I wish you the best." Lu Ting finally said it, the burden that was in his heart for so long. Ting Ting was speechless and she was unable to move on. She slowly dragged herself to her best friend's apartment. Mimi was her college friends and they've been really close after graduation. Mimi had her own daughter and was living with her husband.

"Ting Ting? What's wrong?" Mimi was concerned about Ting Ting's wellbeing. Ting Ting only cried until her eyes and face were swollen.

"Mimi, Lu Ting broke up with me when I told him I can't get pregnant with his kids. We've tried so many times, it doesn't work. Why me? Is having a child too much to ask for?" Ting Ting cried on Mimi's shoulder and they hugged each other. Mimi's daughter came out of her room rubbing her eyes, "Mommy, who is that?" Mimi asked her daughter to come to her, "Miaomiao, this is my best friend from school. Can you give her a hug? She really needs one." Miaomiao nodded and gave Ting Ting a hug, "Auntie, don't cry." Ting Ting nodded while holding back, "Hm. Auntie won't cry. Miaomiao's hug worked. Can you give me another hug?" Miaomiao smiled and hugged back.

Ting Ting looked at Mimi and Miaomiao's mother-daughter relationship, it's really sweet.

"Ting Ting, it's not the end of the world. Technology is really advanced right now, I have a friend who went to fertility clinic to get IVF and now, she's pregnant. But first, you need to keep your spirit up. Okay?" Ting Ting nodded. She may be in her lowest right now but she will rise from the ashes one day when all things go downhill.
