Twenty-five-year-old Zuriel Williams walked around, a shadow of the man he used to be. While his days were filled with forced smiles, his nights were consumed with his tormenting nightmares. Far from the obnoxious teenager he used to be, now, his days were spent silently wandering around, traumatized from past events. Combined with the unjust and abusive treatment from his pack and family members for a tragedy he was not responsible for, he kept his heart closed off to anyone who might dare try and enter.
But his world is suddenly shifted when he stumbles across a woman who begins to remind him exactly of the girl he had spent the last seven years trying to forget. The way she smiled, spoke and laughed were identical, yet the guilt that consumed him never seemed to lift.
Can Zuriel find it within himself to let go of the chains of the past keeping him tied? Will he ever be able to move forward, or will he forever be bound to the spirits of the past?
