1 01. Mr. Driver.

Walking on the wet street of the Paris under the cloudy weather, a powerful stroke of cold breeze hit my face causing my hair to mesh. And on the other hand, I was struggling with the shopping bags in my pale hands while I groaned to myself. "Oh, sh*t! My hands are damn loaded. I didn't see it coming." And I rolled my eyes.

Again, a strong blow of wind passed across me, causing the hair to cover my whole face and meanwhile my lips tried to escape a slight puff to withdraw the hair back. Gasping for the air, I relieved a sigh of frustration at the failed attempt.

My hazelnut eyes tried to glance between the narrow space of the hair as there were ruffled all over my face and abruptly, my gaze landed on the visual signal and it showed the red light.

As I was impatiently waiting to cross, my heel began to create a 'tap' 'tap' sound on the sidewalk and rolling my eyes, I internally gasped at my terrible fate.

'Ting.'

The sound of 'ting' caught my attention signaling a bright green light and I slowly crossed the path with a quick watch at the either side while I caught a dead gaze of a few people who sent at my freak appearance.

After crossing the road, I walked on the sidewalk and cross the lane. Relieving a long sigh, I landed the covers close to my legs and placed my hands on the either side of the hips and I scorned. "Phew!"

As I was impatiently waiting for the taxi I crossed the hands against my chest and the gaze wandered around.

Since my birth, I was stuck with the lame restrictions of my parents, as they are being responsible for managing the organization.

When patience doesn't pass according to their rules then there is a need to set sail for an amazing view.

In seek of freedom from them, I grabbed the passport with the luggage and left the hometown with a lie.

All of a sudden, a bunch of honks drifted my thought away and I flinched. For a moment, I blink my eyes dumbfoundedly and goofily I smiled at my braveness.

How cool I can be.

The sound of thunder echoes in the gray sky and the heavy clouds can call the rain at any time and pathetic me haven't got a cab yet. The moment my gaze landed on the path I sight the water droplets and swiftly, I raised my face up to look at the sky and a tiny drops of rain descended on my surprised facade.

Shortly, I puffed at my little wet appearance and ceaselessly, I began to tap with my heel on path while I endured. "Oh, dear god. Please get me a cab."

Suddenly, everyone began to run randomly in seek of shade as the rain started to strike the street with a great force.

I internally groaned, such a hopeless me.

The sky was lost a sight of the sun and the grey clouds were surrounded all over the sky, causing to give a birth to gloomy aura. The zephyr was cooled by the rain giving me a sensation of quick shiver to my spine. At the moment, the onset dusk appeared, slowly the street lights sprang up and the path does not have a sign of the people.

With a drippy eyes, I attempted to look for a cab. Fortunately, on the other path, I saw the cab which was on the halt and my eyes slightly popped up at the hopeful sight. Agitatingly, I grabbed the covers and ran for the cab. Quickly, I unlocked the cab door and let the bags first in then I threw myself.

Straightening my drippy posture I cried to myself. "I am completely drenched." While I added in a haste. "Please drop me on the street of Avenue Victor hu-."

A stern and strangely sexy voice halted me in a midway giving a pause to my current posture and causing the eyes to slightly popped out from the socket and without turning his back he pronounced. "Excuse me?"

I wondered he may didn't hear me out the cause of the vibrant sound of a downpour and I try to repeat again giving a pause after every word. "Oh, I said. Please. Drop me. On the street. Of. Aven-"

"I heard you but I'm not your driver!" A firm yet cold voice slightly resonated in the cab.

Rolling my eyes, I stated obvious. "I know you're not, but you're a street driver."

"Wa-wait, what?" I sensed the frown in his cold voice.

For his clearance, I tried to repeat myself. "I said you're a stree-" And again he halted me in a midway.

"Young lady, I didn't ask you to repeat yourself!" His voice had a glint of irritation.

Why does he sound so annoyed? Although there was no light to sight out his bizarre aspect, I tried to speak calmly. "Well, what we are waiting for and I am already gettin-" And he paused me again, adding vexedly. "Pretty obvious, waiting for you to get out."

Being unaware of his sudden remark, I rolled my eyes and irritatingly, I tugged the strands of my auburn hair behind the ear and I groaned. "Wa-wait, what. But why?"

For my clearance, he stated again. "I said you to leave."

What the hell happened to this cab driver and why is he not in a mood to hire the guest in this cruel rain.

I relieved a sigh of exasperation and all of a sudden, unintentionally I hissed gritting my teeth at him. "I didn't ask you to repeat."

"Well, I'm getting late and at this very moment I appreciate your concern if you stepped out of the car." He pronounced casually.

"I understand your situation, but I also want you to exhibit the little concern as well and you may not leave your guest without providing an outreach service to their intended destination. The guest of this cab are you're responsibility and you must act according to their commands." Shortly, I bursted out in a single tone and folded my hands against my chest while I slightly moved back resting on the back of the seat.

Suddenly, from afar the light of the street showed up, causing the dull light to appear in the cab and making it visible to sight a view. My gaze landed on the front rare mirror which was displacing a narrowed wicked grey orbs to meet with my emerald hazel eyes slightly widen up at the wondrous view.

He raised his perfectly dark arched eyebrow at me and stated. "You're my responsibility?" He paused and his lip slightly let out a laugh and he whispered. "Since when?"

Shrugging off my shoulder, I said. "The moment I entered." And my hazel eyes was stuck back to his mirror.

"And I have the rights to act according to your command. ah?" He added and his grey orbs were glaring at me from the mirror.

Without averting my eyes from him, I nodded my head and whispered. "Yes."

His eyes never leaving the mirror, he mumbled. "You're appearance is not bad at all. Gladly, I take your responsibility and follow your deary command. Well, I guess this time the auction is mine." And he winked at me.
