19 It's Okay

Back in London, Marcus entered the main base of his gang. He went there after hearing good news which he expected for quite a long time.

After going for a while, he entered a huge room. The room was quite dark and moist. Many kinds of torturing devices were hanging in the wall. All the men bowed at the sight of him.

A man who was in his late 40s was chained in one corner of the room. Marcus went straight to the man. He grabbed him on the chin and said, "Hello, Dr. Evans. Long time no see." His voice were barely above whisper. A vicious smile plastered his face.

This man named Dr. Evans was one of the doctors who looked after Hazel while she was still Annie Han. He knows all the secret about Hazel's true identity.

As soon as Dr. Evans saw Marcus, he panicked with fear. "So it's you, Marcus Lim!" His voice were hoarse.

"Come on, Doctor. Why panicked so soon? I still didn't even started." Marcus said to him. A vicious smile never leave his face.

"What did you plan to do?" Dr. Evans asked him. Fear is evident in his face.

Marcus sat down on the chair before him. "You know, Doctor. I told you beforehand that if you dare to tell anything about my sister to anyone; I would make you rot in hell. Still remember?" His lips curved into a playful smile.

His smile made the Doctor shiver with fear. His face turned pale like a ghost.

Marcus let out a mocking laughter as he saw him shiver. "Why bother shivering, doctor? You are even brave enough to defy me!" He rose from his seat and approached him once again.

"Telling the secrets of my sister to other person was the greatest crime you could ever commit in your life." He whispered to Dr. Evans ear.

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I beg you, Mr. Lim!" Dr. Evans was on his knees, pleading for mercy.

"It's useless. You know what? That person whom you told my sister's secret is also here, at this place. I made sure to shut his mouth before he could open." He looked at Dr. Evans right in the eye. "Spend the rest of your lives here. You will spent all your life repenting for your sins." He concluded.

Then he gestured his men to take him away. Dr. Evans will rot in that place forever! It was a place where all the people who stayed there before him, called it as a 'living hell.'

Marcus leave the base and get on his car. Then he got a call from Hazel. It was 12p.m there in London, so it must be 9p.m in Korea.

Marcus answered the call right away.

"Hi, Hazel."

"You're such a sly brother!" Hazel yelled at him.

"What did I do?" Marcus asked her. He pleaded innocence though he surely knows what Hazel was talking about. He loves to play around with her.

"Don't act like you don't know, Mark. I know your ways very well." Though she tried to calm down her voice, she finds it impossible. He always tried to play the same trick on her.

"Well...umm...sorry, Haze. He asked for my help; so I can't turn him down just like that. Besides you always starve yourself till late at night. I'm glad to know that there's someone who cares about whether you eat or not. So I want to help him." Marcus explained in a calm voice. He didn't raise his voice to her, as always.

"He's quite bothersome." Hazel bluntly said. "He's troubling me a lot."

"Troubling? It's the first time I've heard you say such things. Usually, no matter how men chased you, you're never affected at all; so far from being troubled." Marcus chuckled.

"This Aiden Lee is quite great. He has the honor of being able to troubled you." He added.

"Mark!" Poor Marcus got yelled at again. Hazel's voice was so loud that he even needs to distance his phone from his ears!

"Haze, it's been six years. It's okay to move on." Marcus told her. His voice were calm yet serious.

"What about you? How's with Janice?" Hazel asked him. She knows that they are almost at the same level.

"That friend of yours can't stop texting me since I gave her my number! Ah! She's really something." Marcus told her his current situation.

"She's still the same. Don't be harsh to her. Or else I won't..."

"I know. I know. Stop threatening me!" Marcus cut her off.

"I think you didn't need any threatening anymore. I bet that you already fall for her natural charm." Hazel teased him.

"Stop saying such things! I'm busy. Let's talk later." Marcus hang up right away.

Hazel chuckled at her brother's awkward expression. She only said to pissed him off. Did he really fall for her already? She became more and more curious. She should visit Janice soon.

Then she realized what Marcus told her. During the past years, he always told her that it's time to move on. But it's the first time he told her that it's okay to move on. Like always, his words comforted her once again.

Was it really okay for her to move on? Was it okay to fall in love again? For the past six years, she was even afraid to imagine herself being in love again.

She sits all alone in her house. Though she hate to admit, she was feeling a bit lonely. But talking to her brother made her feel good. He always comforted her with his words.

Then the sentence 'It's okay' crossed her mind once again. If it was really okay to start over again, who will have the patience to deal with her? Then Aiden's friendly smile came to her mind in the very first place.....
