1 Chapter One.

A door creaks open revealing a man in his inner robes lying in bed lazily and sleeping care freely like tomorrow doesn't exist. Only the lower part of his body is covered by the quilt. From the look of things,he doesn't seem to be waking up soon. The one who opened the door is Qin Lanhua (Lanhua meaning 'Orchid'),a young lady in a red gown . Though it's still early in the morning,her face is brightly decorated with make-up and several golden hairpins designing her long hair.

"Lazy Xinyue did you bang way too many people that you can't wake up?" Qin Lanhua speaks teasingly as she sits beside the lying Duan Xinyue(Xinyue meaning' New Moon') . Duan Xinyue groans lazily as Lanhua taps him to wake up.

"Don't ruin my reputation I'm still a virgin ," Duan Xinyue replies opening his eyes .

"Fine I'll stop it. If I remember correctly, you're supposed to perform at Lord Du Yuan's birthday banquet today."

Duan Xinyue springs up from bed throwing the quilt away. He quickly puts on his outer robes and looks around searching for his boots.

"Duan gongzi(gongzi meaning 'Young Master') aren't you gonna take a bath?" Qin Lanhua asks teasingly .

"Tell Jiali to prepare a bath for me,"Duan Xinyue instructs .

Qin Lanhua folds her arms with an evil smile lingering on her face. She seems to enjoy watching the now confused Duan Xinyue who doesn't know what to begin doing.

"Jiali is dressing up the girls but don't worry I'll prepare the bath for you ,"Qin Lanhua says still smiling.

In Duan Xinyue's room,there is a door leading to the bathroom. Qin Lanhua heads towards the bathroom to prepare a bath for him. As Qin Lanhua walks out of the bathroom,Duan Xinyue walks in hurriedly. He immediately jumps in the bathtub. When he walks back to his room,he finds his bed neatly made with a set of clean folded white robes on top. He dresses up immediately and sits on the dressing table to comb his hair. Duan Xinyue's long black hair is tied into a ponytail and clasped by a small decorated crown. There are two strands of rose gold dyed hair hanging on the front sides.

Qin Lanhua is standing downstairs waiting for Duan Xinyue. She is carrying a loaded white zither bag in her arms. She coincidentally looks up and sees the now dressed Xinyue walking downstairs. She smiles acknowledging Duan Xinyue's ethereal beauty. According to most women , he's the second most handsome man in Long Gong County( Long Gong meaning 'Dragon Palace') after Lei Qiang,the Master of Ziran Sect(Ziran meaning 'Nature') . As Duan Xinyue approaches her he turns around showing off his robes proudly like a young girl showing off how beautiful her gown is .

"How do I look?" He asks revealing his beautiful flirty smile.

"Handsome as always,"Qin Lanhua replies smiling.

"Where are the girls?" He asks looking around.

A group of teen show girls in red gowns approach them gushing over how handsome Xinyue looks.

"Remember to give it your best or else Lord Du Yuan will demolish our pavilion,"Qin Lanhua says teasingly.

"Sister Lanhua don't worry we won't let you down,"one of the show girls assures her.

Qin Lanhua hands over the zither bag to Duan Xinyue who carries it on his back.

"Jiali and I will stay to entertain the guests."

The show girls together with Duan Xinyue,Qin Lanhua and Su Jiali are all members of Qingfeng Pavilion,the most famous entertainment center in Long Gong County. Since it is daytime,there are way less customers than during the night so Qin Lanhua and Su Jiali can manage to serve them. Duan Xinyue and the show girls leave. Duan Xinyue takes his own carriage while the show girls take two other carriages and they all head towards Lord Du Yuan's residence.
