"Don't be such a spoilsport," Ye Li dangled her legs, wrapping them around his neck, "Why did you come back so early today?" Ji Yanchen had said that he would be very busy until mid-June, often working overtime.
Sometimes Ye Li would go over to draw with him, and when she could not stay awake any longer, she would sleep in his resting room. She would wake up again in bed.
"To celebrate the holiday with you."
Ye Li turned her head to look at him. Ji Yanchen was truly the epitome of her aesthetic taste, every part of him deeply endeared to her. Perhaps it was because the moon was especially beautiful that day, Ye Li, feeling playful, puckered up to kiss his face, "Were you angry when you were on the phone with me?"
"No." Her fragrant soft lips smeared across his face at random. Ji Yanchen closed his eyes, resisting the urge to correct her there and then, and continued, "After all, it's not like you've been heartless for just a day or two."
