3 Will You Ever Leave Me?
Xiao li's eyes slowly began to open and she felt no pain again. She felt alive once more. She was not hurting anywhere, but her heart was still hurting.
The fact that she cheated on Liu Wei was still bothering her.
She was just too scared to think about Liu Wei's reaction when he heard that she had a night stand with a stranger.
That would be a shame on her.
Yes! It would also ruin her reputation and her family's.
Just then, her mother interrupted her trains of thought.
"Xiao Li, Zhi ruo is waiting for you outside" Yu Yan called out.
"Okay, I will be there in a few minutes" She said, climbed down from bed, put on her clothes and quickly gathered her things together and went out.
Zhi Ruo was in the living room, drinking the juice Yu Yan just bought for her. Xiao Li walked up to her and sat down beside her.
"Hey! What's wrong?" Zhi Ruo asked when she saw her friend's pale face.
Xiao Li crossed her leg and looked at Zhi Ruo. "Why?"
"Your face. Why is your face so pale?"
"Ah..."
Xiao li subconsciously touched her face.
She tried to hide what happened to her from her friend. She can't let anyone know. Not Zhi Ruo, not Yu Yan and most especially... Not Liu Wei. She sure would be done for if they knew what had happened.
Not only will it ruin her family's reputation, for sure, the Liu's wouldn't want their son to marry someone like her.
Maybe it was better this way. It was better to keep it from all of them. And now, her only prayer was that she never meet that man.
That way, her life would be better if he never showed up again.
"Hey! What are you thinking of?" Zhi Ruo's high- pitched voice brought her down back to earth. She turned her head to look at Zhi Ruo.
"Ah, it's nothing" She said. "Now tell me, how is the party preparation going? I heard it's going to be grand. I just can't wait to be there" She said in an excited voice.
She just changed the topic.
"Yeah, it's going to be very interesting. With all those rich family attending the party; I am sure it's going to be fun"
Zhi Ruo did not understand Xiao Li nowadays. Ever since she went missing, she had changed. Always lost in her thoughts.
Maybe... she was thinking about her marriage with Liu Wei? Maybe?
Who wouldn't be happy knowing that very soon she would be called Mrs Liu or young miss.
Well, their discussion went on like that.

On the top floor of A. B company.
"President Jingyi, I have done what you asked me to do. This is the information about her" An Jun handed over the file to Jingyi.
Jingyi Wang grabbed the file, flipped through a few pages as An Jun continued, "Xiao Li, a 22 years old woman is the heiress of Xiao family. She works as a marketing specialist in F. G company. She has a fiance and would be getting married soon in a few weeks to come"
Jingyi Wang slightly raised his eyebrow. "Getting married?"
An Jun nodded. "Yes. She would be getting married to Liu Wei, the third young master of the Liu's family?"
Jingyi Wang frowned. His eyebrows furrowed. He leaned back into the chair and slapped the file on the table.
An Jun was taken aback.
Why is Jingyi suddenly angry?
But... He never liked her, so what was happening to him now?
"President Jingyi, should I..."
"No! You can leave" Jingyi commanded.
An Jun bowed, turned and left the office.
Jingyi took the photo in the file and looked at the girl in the photo. The girl wore a white shirt with a black bow and a black short skirt. Her long, white, slender legs were exposed. She had a very beautiful smile.
To him, that was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen.

Few days later.
In a few days to come, Xiao li will be getting married to Liu Wei. He took her to the wedding dress shop to choose her wedding dress.
As soon as they got into the store together, the bridal attendant bowed and greeted them. She took them to a large, sunlit fitting-room area with a slate-gray curtain.
They started talking about the dress style they liked or thought would look good on Xiao li. The bridal attendant had some ideas like- something very princess-y, while Xiao li had other thoughts. Liu Wei on the other hand stayed silent at first.
The first dress Xiao li tried was a fitted, backless design with a plunging necklace, with not much in the way of sparkle or lace.
Xiao li stood in front of Liu wei and tentatively asked, "Liu Wei, what do you think about this dress.
Liu Wei looked at her and said, "The gown is too plain. I don't like it"
The next dress was a more flowery design full of lacy applique's. It was a mermaid silhouette, and she tried it with a matching cathedral length veil.
An hour and four more dresses- Later, she slipped into the sixth and last gown. Xiao Li looked in the mirror in the fitting room before facing Liu Wei again in the final design. The gown was stunning.
Liu Wei was absolutely elated. "It's perfect," he said. He got up, walked all around her and talked about every inch of the dress.
After picking her wedding dress, Xiao li was very tired, so Liu wei decided to take her home.
In the black BMW, Liu Wei gave Xiao Li bottled water and gently wiped her sweat as she took a mouthful of water.
"Thank you" She smiled and gave him the bottle, then she turned her face to look out of the window.
In a few days to come, she would be getting married to the man she loved, but her heart ached so much thinking that she had kept the biggest secret of her life from the person she would be calling her husband soon.
Are you supposed to keep a secret that's a major part of your life from someone you would be spending the rest of your life with?
She turned her head to look at Liu wei.
The first time they saw each other was when they were in grade four. Xiao li was sitting on the bench under a tree reading a book. She wore a white shirt, a blue bow and a brown skirt. Her hair was made into two cute ponytails.
Her skin was as smooth as silk, almost like a porcelain doll, her cheeks were a rosy pink and she had light freckles on her nose and under her eyes.
Liu Wei walked up to her and sat down beside her. "Hi" he greeted.
Xiao li raised her head to look at him and smiled. "Hello" she greeted him with a smile.
Her smile leaves him breathless, speechless, heart pounding and her voice was as soft as a summer rain.
"My name is Liu wei" he introduced himself and shook her hand.
Xiao li smiled at him and said, "My name is Xiao li. You can call me Lili for short"
The both of them talked about everything under the sun, from their families, to their likes and dislikes, to their hopes and dreams. Their first time together lasted hours upon hours.
When it was time to leave, the two of them promised to see each other often.
Later on, they began to see each other often because they both came from a very rich family and their families are business partners, so that made them become closer.
Liu Wei was always calm, soft spoken and always considerate.
Liu Wei felt her gaze on him and turned his head to look at her. "Why are you staring at me?"
Liu Wei's deep, gentle voice interrupted her trains of thought.
She opened her mouth to talk, but couldn't. She closed her mouth and continued to stare at him. After a few seconds, she opened her mouth and these words came out. "Liu wei, if you ever find out about the mistakes I have made, will you still forgive me? Will you leave me?"
Her questions made Liu Wei confused.
What was she saying?
Liu wei smiled at her. "Whatever it is, I will forgive you. I won't leave you. The past is to prove that no one is perfect and the future is to prove that everyone can change"
