His eyes went from cold as ice to passionate and warm. "You should have told me and I would have gotten you one"

He called a servant and said directly, "Go and bring the telephone. Your young miss wants to use it"

The servant nodded her head and left.

Xiao li felt troubled. If the servant brought the telephone, what would she tell her parents. Actually, she wanted to ask for their help, not to greet them. She had to use that excuse for this man.

Xiao li heard this, and her thin lips curled up. Her smile was like summer moon light, beautiful and magical.

The hostility with a fire that could melt the night were not easily hidden on her innocent face towards this man. She felt a rush of anger at this aloof man. She was disgusted by him. Her eyes looked murderous as she stared at him.

A few maids were already in Xiao li's room, but there was no sign of Jingyi Wang. Xiao li was surprised at the fact that he didn't come home early.

Then, she suddenly remembered that she yelled at him earlier. Perhaps, that was the reason why he hadn't come home yet.

Xiao li felt so uneasy.

She glanced at the clock.

She got out of the bed and the maids helped her bathe and get dressed.

"Young miss, we are done" One of the maids informed when she was done with her hair. "It's time for dinner. Perhaps, you want to eat?"

At that moment, the door opened and a figure slowly appeared. He stepped inside and the door closed behind him. Xiao li stared at the reflexion of the man though the mirror and saw that Jingyi Wang was standing at the door studying her with his cold, deep blue eyes.

"Do you mind having dinner with me?" he suddenly asked, standing a few steps away from her. Seeing that she isn't responding, he gestured the maids to leave the room.

There was an awkward silence in the room.

Xiao li felt uncomfortable under his strong gaze.

After a few minutes, she stood up and adjusted her clothes and her hair.

Suddenly, Xiao li felt his presence behind her. She was shocked and turned.

"I'm sorry. I know you hate me for what i did. I know you want to go back to your family, but..." he trailed off, not knowing what to say.

Xiao li was shocked.

She didn't know that he would take her word so literally. She heard that his voice was heavy with sadness, but what he did was unforgivable.
