4 Tea

Just that last sentence was enough to make Xu Mey's eyes sting. She didn't even know why she felt like crying so much today. But it was true that those words coming from Ru meant a lot to her. No matter how much time had passed, Ru was that important part of her life she couldn't run from.

"Sensei," she called out. "I really love you. No matter how much time passes, you'd always be my first love."

There was a glint in Ru's green eyes as she ran her hand through her short hair and said, "You do remember that I'm a woman, right?"

"You forget that yourself," chuckled Xu Mey. "But I really don't care. Maybe it hurt me a lot to know that my first love turned out to be a woman. However, when I thought about it later, I realized that your gender had nothing to do with my love for you. I have always admired and respected you for who you are. It had never involved genders."
