1 I Believe You

"Ah-Jie~~"

Even with that sickly sweet voice beside him, Jie chose to concentrate on the road. Xu Mey's voice was distracting but he was forcing himself to solely pay attention to driving. Wouldn't wanna get into an accident now.

"Jie!"

"Zhu Jie!"

"Mr. Zhu!"

Xu Mey continued to call and he continued to pretend like he was deaf. 

"You're really not gonna listen to me?"

Jie still didn't reply.

Xu Mey sighed, "How can you do this to me? If we won't talk, how will we fix it?"

That seemed to have gotten Jie's attention. He parked the car at the side of the road and alighted. He went around to open the door of her side and pulled her out. "So, now you know that we need to talk to fix it? Why didn't you think about it before walking out on me?"

Xu Mey pursed her lips feeling guilty. How would she know that her impulsive decision would get her here? 

"Did you even for a minute think how I'll feel?" asked Jie.
