8 CEO Lu’s Fiancé

The next morning, Li Min arrived at the company at 6.30 A.M. She was wearing a white woman's suit with long white pants. Her long dark brown wavy hair was swaying in the breeze. When she went to the CEO's room, she saw Mr. Lu reading a paper.

"Good morning, Mr. Lu. I brought you a western breakfast and a cup of Da Hong Pao tea." Li Min put a dish and a teacup on his table.

"Did you make it by yourself?"

"No. My family's cook made it. If you don't like it, I'll find someone else to make your meal." She smiled at Mr. Lu.

"I'd love to try your cooking."

"…Well, I'll make it myself next time."

It seemed she needed to get used to her new boss weird trait soon. Li Min thought to herself. She went back to her workspace outside the CEO's room and called Miss Tang to prepare the meeting room. Then she looked at Mr. Lu's today schedule. He was a busy man. His schedule was tight for the next few weeks.

Suddenly, the woman wearing channel strapless dress was walking on her 6-inch high heels to the CEO's room. The woman ignored Li Min completely and tried to get into the CEO's room. Did no one tell here that the fingerprint is required to get inside? Li Min acted like she didn't see anything and continued working.

"Hey! Open the door for me."

"Do you have any appointment with CEO Lu?"

"No. Just let me in. I'm his fiancé."

"I'm sorry, ma' am. I can't just let anyone into this room without an appointment."

"How dare you!?"

Hearing the noise outside the room, Mr. Lu came out. He frowned when he saw the woman whose name was Lin Xinqi. Lu Fengmian met her from a blind date that his parents set up for him. He didn't like her at all especially the smell of her channel perfume. Although it smelt good, the smell was too strong for him.

"What're you doing here?"

"Bro Fengmian, you've ignored my calls lately. My father wants to discuss something with you. Do you free this afternoon? We could have lunch together with my father."

"I'm busy. You should go back."

"Then, how about dinner? Please…" Lin Xinqi wrapped her hands around Lu Fengmian's arms. She was now acting like a cute little puppy.

"I can't. I'll tell you when I have free time." He tried to unwrap her hands and looked at Li Min. Li Min stood still and just watched them without disturbing.

"Okay. I'll go now. Please let me know if you're free." Lin Xinqi winked at Lu Fengmian before glaring at Li Min with cold eyes and smirked.

Li Min wanted to roll her eyes with Lin Xinqi's action. Who did she think she is? It was true that she had a sexy figure and a little beautiful face. Yet, she was just so-so in Li Min's opinion. Furthermore, Li Min could tell that her big boobs were fake! Perhaps she had plastic surgery on her face too because her face didn't look natural at all. Did Mr. Lu really this fake woman? What a waste!

"She's not my fiancé. I didn't agree on engagement which her parents offered." Mr. Lu spoke after Lin Xinqi left.

"I see."

Abruptly, Mr. Lu's phone rang. He picked up the phone.

"Hello?" his face looked pale. "What!... I'll go back now."

"Li Min, cancel all of today's schedule. And follow me."

Mr. Lu seemed to have something urgent, he was dashing to the elevator. Li Min was running follow his speed of the walk, while she was sending a text to Miss Tang, informing about meeting cancellation. She was worried because Mr. Lu's face didn't look good. Did something bad happen?

"Mr. Lu, May I ask what's happened?"

"My grandfather had fainted. I need to go back to the Lu residence."

Li Min nodded. She needed to accompany him everywhere. Thus, it was fine to go to his house, right? That'll be her first time visiting a man's house. She reminded herself that this is a work. No need to panic.

Getting into his black Audi R8, Li Min was about to fasten her seat belt, while Lu Fengmian was starting the car and driving in his high speed. Li Min was used to driving fast, but it was a different feeling when she was a passenger. Lu Fengmian noticed her, so he drove slower.

"Sorry." He said.

"It's alright. You can drive faster." Li Min looked at Lu Fengmian. She noticed that he looked more attractive when he was serious. Oh, what was she thinking? His grandfather was in a critical state. She shouldn't think of this kind of things.
