Chapter 54- Reap what you sow!

Dr Jin was leisurely checking his email when an email from Dr Fang pop-up in his inbox.

He hastily opens the mail and stood up abruptly after reading it's content. "What is the meaning of this? Why would he want me in his office?" He asks loudly in the empty room.

He felt a bad omen about the letter. Not wanting to rush on making a decision, he dialled his father's number.

It is well-known in the hospital that his father is one of the executive officers there. He would know why the new hospital head would require him to visit his office.

However, no matter how long they talk, like him, his father doesn't know any reason for him to be there. At the moment, he is busy playing with his golf buddy to care about his son's predicament. Anyway, as long as he is the position, he won't be fired. So, why would he worry?

Elder Jin tried to calm his panic son and encouraged him to see Dr Fang.

Resolve to his future, Dr Jin walks to the hospital's head office. He didn't know about the man aside from the rumor circulating in the hospital. It is said that the CEO of Xu Holdings, Xu Long Wei, is fond of the man. Although his family is considered well-off, they are not on the same level as the man. Therefore, even his father has to bow whenever he meets him.

If Dr Fang has a secure connection with the CEO himself, then he couldn't afford to offend him. Unsure what to do, he hesitantly knocks on the man's office.

After he heard his answer, he opens the door and greeted the man.

"Dr Fang, did you need me?" Dr Jin asks.

"Ah yes, I want to speak with you. but before that, I want you to read this." Fang Wubin handed a piece of paper that holds the man's future.

Dr Jin read it, and a few minutes later, he wanted to pass out on the spot. It's a letter of transfer!

It says that the hospital will be transferring him to a remote area. However, Dr Jin is familiar with the place. It is located in the lower corner of Country X, and most of the people in there are elderly. The site is like a charity hospital owned by Jia foundation. No one wants to be there!

Also, by sending him there, the company only want to send him a message. It is either; he does it or hands in his resignation. Because of it, he is confused about the situation.

"Dr Fang, what is going on? Why would the hospital transfer me to this place? Do you want me to resign?" he wanted to know.

Fang Wubin didn't want to prolong the conversation and said the honest answer directly. "Yes, It came to the CEO's attention that you had rejected a patient today because of the reason he can't afford to pay for the fees. With that, you have violated the values we uphold and could only mean that you are unfit to work in the main hospital."

"The CEO himself is dissatisfied with you. You just rejected a family that is close to him. He wanted you to either transfer or resigned. Of course, it will be your decision. Just bear in mind that based on what you choose, your father might be implicated. So think carefully." he plainly stated monotonously.

Dr Jin felt like a punch landed on his stomach. He couldn't believe that this is all because of the poor and dirty looking family he refuses to treat today.

He closes his fist tightly to control his resentment to them. Leave with no option; he leaves the office dejectedly and proceeded to lock himself in his office.

All the hard work he did to get his position in this prestigious hospital was brushed away quickly because of a single incident.

Out of anger, he threw all the stuff aligned perfectly on his table. He didn't stop in there, a few minutes later, his room turned to a complete mess. He breath heavily while he continue kicking and punching anything he could hold into.

On the outside, staffs are flabbergasted from the clattering sound coming from his office. Couldn't help but get curious about the doctor's temper outburst.
