Chapter 4- Escape part1

Her body is weakening, and she is afraid she will die here.

With her plan in mind, Vera acted hurt to get his attention.

Upon seeing Vera struggling with her injuries, the man felt a sudden jolt in his heart. Even though he has his bodyguard torture her, he doesn't want to see it personally. Therefore, he unconsciously gets closer to her when he sees that she is suffering. Anyway, she is already hurt. What can she do when her body is like that? Trusting his reasoning, he moves closer to the bed where Vera is sitting.

She curled her body in pain and was trembling. Could it be the freezing temperature? Does she have a fever? Why did his people leave his woman here untreated? He will have a word with them later.

"What is wrong?" he asked with a hint of worry. Vera stayed silent, not answering him, making him more anxious.

This time, he stood up on her side to check her injuries. He wants to touch her and check on his own but is afraid he could hurt her more.

On the other hand, the leader of the guard is concerned upon seeing his boss standing close to the woman. He had been watching her for a long time and knew how lethal she was. He is undecided whether to warn his boss not to come anymore closer, but it is too late when the evil woman moves and swiftly holds their leader's neck. She is holding a pin in her hand and is conveniently loose from her shackles. He finally understood why she curled her body. She was using it to unlock the chains!! Where the hell did she procure that?!!

Vera smirked triumphantly. Two nights ago, she saw that one of the new guards in charge of her was wearing a pin on his head. Not just one, but four! He was stupid enough to secure his long hair with it without realizing the consequences. She stole one pin and hid it before they noticed her action. She was waiting for this time to test its usefulness.

As soon as she set her hands free, she held Psycho in his neck and tried to choke him. Since he is a sick bastard, she is not guilty of using him to exchange keys and let herself out of this place.

"You". Vera signalled the guard.

"Throw your gun in my direction, or I will kill your boss here. As you know, I have already overstayed in this place, so don't try my patience." She menacingly said while maneuvering her body close to the exit door.

Noticing the bundle of keys on his waist, she indicated, "be good and give me the keys for this house, including the car outside. Otherwise, you will have nothing but the loving memory of your boss."

Psycho, currently in pain due to the pressure in his neck, tried to say something but was cut off by Vera.

Meanwhile, the guard is now panicking. He can shoot the woman, but his boss is blocking his opening. Left with no options, he has no choice but to follow her demand for now. He tosses her gun and keys for the house, including the cars parked outside. But he left at least two car keys for his team to use for precaution in case of a chase later. Anyway, she doesn't know how many cars are parked outside.

Vera caught the keys and the gun the guard tossed in her direction. As much as possible, she should avoid making any mistakes. While facing the guard, Vera moves to the exit slowly but keeps her sharp eyes on any movement the guards could make. She drags Psycho along with her.
