1 Chapter 1 Movie Goers 1

"Sorry for being late." said a man with a puffed breath.

Adriella was quite stunned heard that man voice because she was just having a daydream just now.

She turn around and see a man standing next to her table. That man wearing white t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He still trying to catch some breath but still smile to her.

"Ahh. You already here. How's traffic?" said Adriella who wore dark blue sweater with a little smile on her face.

He sighed and said "Well, you know, Jakarta". He is still standing next to the woman's table.

"Have you bought the ticket?"

"Nope. Not yet! I was afraid you were so late that we couldn't make it to watch the movie at 7pm. So I just think, if I didn't buy the ticket yet, we could catch the next schedule. But we only late about 7 minute. Still want to buy the 7pm ticket?" she explained.

"Yes, let's buy!" he said.

"Okay!" The woman turn off her laptop and put it back on her dark blue backpack. "I'll buy the popcorn. Which flavour do you prefer?"

She then move from her chair and they both heading to the ticket counter.

"Caramel popcorn." He said with his playfull eyes.

Ehh. Really?

"One caramel and one reguler popcorn, please," She said to the woman behind the snack counter.

Today, after work, Adriella supposed to go home. But, she saw an invitation from a bacpacker network web she's been into to watch a movie. At first, she is not so sure. But when thinked about how she had been working so hard lately without a break, she think she need some time to relax.

Beside that, last time she watched a movie, maybe months ago. So why not take this invitation to hangout and chill a little bit and meet up with some new friends.

"So, I thought there will several people will come tonight," she said while clicking her finger on the snack counter, waiting for the popcorn order.

"I thought that too. Some people already text me and said they will try their best to come because apparently, this D'Pulze Theathre is not on their way home. So, I guess they don't make it to come here on time," He standing right beside her.

"Well, this theathre definetely not a good choice for hangout after work due to its location. If I got busy schedule at work, I definetely would not gonna make it too," Adriella explained while waiting for the popcorn.

"Here's your popcorn, miss," Said the woman on snack counter.

"Thank you." she said to her.

"By the way, what's your name? We didn't introduce ourself properly before." She asked while walking towards theatre 3 where the movie Spiderman Home Coming played.

"Remy Starvane."

"My name is Adriella Wiranti. Really nice to meet you." Adriella said with a smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you too. So, we are ready for the movie now?!" he asked.

"Hell yeah. Let's go."

A woman and a man walking side by side toward Theatre 3.

During the movie, Adriella saw that this man she just met was actually close his eye with his palm during action scene.

"Are you afraid with violence scene?" she asked with low voice.

"Yes!" he replied.

"Then, why did you choose this movie? We could watch other genre, maybe like comedy or romantic movie."

Adriella quite stunned. Spiderman movie isn't really an action movie, right? Children could watch it, you know.

But this guy really close his eyes when Peter Parker got smacked by Vulture. Like, really?

"Well, I like spiderman. There's some science on this movie."

"Ah. So you enjoying the science explanation. Well then, I enjoyed the fighting and action scene." she smiled and nodded in understanding.

"Maybe next time, we should watch another comedy or romantic movie then." she offered.

"Okay!" He said and suddenly close his eyes again when the fighting scene appears again.

Adriella giggled when she sees his reaction.

'Interesting funny guy.' She thinked.
