1 MR. MACROSE'S ADVENTURE: GOD WILL PROVIDE

CHAPTER 1

It was a cloudy day in Merland. The clouds looked so fat that the animals thought it will fall off the position, the river was about to swallow the bridge as it was well fed by the breast milk(rain) od the clouds. The trees and grasses were sooo green and they yielded bountifully. This season was know as "Boomang Season"(rainy season). All the animals had food to eat, everyone looked so fat, including their king, the bunny. The king's bodyguards, the lions, who were supposed to be physically fit, were physically fat. There lived an animal called Mr Spikelet, in Merland. Mr Spikelet is known as "idiot" or "porcupine" by the chief of all living things (Humans). Mr Spikelet is married to a beautiful porcupine and together, they had four kids. On the other hand, there lived Mr Macrose(Also know as "mouse" by the chief of all living things) from the land called "Stolen". "Stolen" is a city of thieves, therefore Mr Macrose is a thief. In "Stolen" the only occupation is stealing.

CHAPTER 2

It was three months into the boomang season which lasted six months afterwards, the dazzard season. Mr Macrose stole a "Bible" from the chief of all living things. Mr Macrose thought that the bible was a very delicious meal, meanwhile it was a book to study. The reason for his thought was this, he over heard humans saying, "the Bible is a spiritual food", he didn't get the meaning of spiritual properly, as they were animals, they had no soul. Mr Macrose hid this Bible from his friends, as they will steal it from him, he had it in mind that he will eat it when he gets to Merland as they always moved to Merland three months before Dazzard season .The residents/citizens of Stolen, started moving to Merland, to spend the rest of the Boomang Season. For they were thieves, the citizens of Merland had to be careful with the stolenians, the thieves. It was a rule, never to be broken by the stolenians, that no one should steal from the king's palace or no one should attempt stealing from the king's palace. A bunch of naughty and stubborn did not comply, they weren't further to stealing from the king's palace, as they saw that the farm produce in the palace were looking well treated, beautiful and well washed, as a result, they were eye-catching. The lions(the king's bodyguards) ran as fast as they could, to get the thieves. The king perceived that something was happening, as he heard the banging of his guards' foot on the ground (remember, they are physically fat). And also he noticed that the mood of his palace changed. The King rushed out, and to his astonishment, he saw his guards dealing mercilessly with a bunch of stolenians. He then asked, "what is happening over there! why can't I get peace!", his guard then responded "Good day my king, for it is a law written in act 222 of the rigid constitution of Merland, that no one should steal from your palace". He then added,"these pack of thieves broke that law... and they are stolenians". The king then said in anger, "Who gave you the audacity to steal from this palace! It is highly prohibited.. for this doing, no stolenian should come to Merland again... if any stolenian is caught in Merland, he/she will be severely punished. I have spoken! ". On hearing this, Mr Macrose not happy, on his way to meet his friends, he saw(from a distance) the king's guards dealing with his friends and chasing them to stolen, he got so frightened so he began to run back. After taking so many turns, he bumped into Mr Spikelet who was gathering food for the Dazzard season. "young man! what's happening... what going on?" asked Mr Spikelet, "I'm a stolenian and I heard the king's declaration and I don't want to go back to Stolen" Mr Macrose said, panting. Mr. Spikelet took a few minutes to think then he said, "well, I think you can tarry here from a while, but promise to be a good person", "I promise" Mr Macrose said, and he smiled.

CHAPTER 3

The next month, Mr Macrose remembered that he had a Bible with him so he wanted to eat it. He totally forgot about the Bible because he was feeding adequately. Mr Spikelet saw the bible on his hand so he was amazed that a stolenian studies the Bible, not knowing that Mr Macrose was about to eat the Bible. Mr Macrose opened his mouth widely to eat the Bible, then Mr Macrose stopped him, Mr Macrose asked why and Mr Spikelet told him the real importance of a Bible. Mr Spikelet quoted the the verse that talks about worries, he told Mr Macrose that, for everything you need that is necessary, "God will provide". Mr Macrose cultivated this phrase in his heart.

The end was nigh, as it was five days to Dazzard season, Mr Spikelet gathered as much foodstuffs as possible. Mr Macrose then said he wants to live on his own. Two months into the Dazzard season, everything was dried, Mr Macrose remembered that Mr Spikelet advised him to store foodstuffs but he didn't because he had it in mind that God will provide. He faced hunger for days.
