"Mother, there is no mechanism. All that it entails is love. I love li Jing and she loves me too. I would do anything for her, mum and I hope you can cherish my decision and love her too."

Li An closed her eyes. She knew when her son's mind was made up and this was one of those instances. None of them spoke after that, they both stood there with their minds fully occupied with their thoughts.
