Sally sue stood at the front of the Gu family industries, a sad smile on her face.
She was holding a small designer bag loosely, and the black dress she wore was swaying about from the wind blowing. A small tear was running down her smooth, porcelain face. She looked like she was lost in thoughts.
There was a little drizzling, and people were scurrying around trying to find shelter. But it seemed as if Sally Sue was oblivious to the rain, as she still stood at the entrance of the company, not minding that the black cotton gown she wore was getting wet.
But just as she was standing, the large, company door opened, and a tall, fair, pretty woman in a well tailored skirt hurried out of the door with some files in her hands.
She stopped walking when she came nearer to Sally Sue.
"Mrs Gu, do you need me to call a cab for you?"
Sally Sue turned and stared at the woman calmly. Few drops of rain water had dropped on her hair and was now rolling down her face, making her look very appealing.
Secretary Yang, when is Mr Gu coming out?"
Secretary Yang bit on her lips lightly.
How could she tell young miss that the boss was currently in there with his mistress?
"Secretary Yang..?" Sally Sue called out, waking Secretary Yang from her thoughts.
"Oh.. Yes..um...his going to be out soon..." Secretary Yang assured her. "Just go back to the mansion and wait for him."
Sally Sue shook her head. "No. I have something to discuss with him."
Secretary Yang sighed softly. Her eyes filled with pity, "Mrs Gu, you should go home now.. The rain is coming.... You will not be able to get a cab if you wait any longer."
Sally Sue shook her head again. "I will wait. When is he coming out?"
"I don't know... He still has some works to do inside.."secretary Yang said truthfully.
"I will wait." Sally Sue turned her eyes back to the road.
The rain was becoming more heavier by the second, and more drops of rain dropped on her body.
Secretary Yang bit on her lips again, slightly worried. But somehow she knew that trying to convince Sally Sue was a big waste of time, and Sally Sue would still wait even after all her convincing.
Silently she walked towards her car, got in and drove away.
Two more hours passed, and the rain was now coming down in downpours, the roads looked deserted and only the loud sounds of the rain hitting the hard earth was heard.
Sally Sue sat down, crunched up in a corner. Her long slender hands hugging her knees. Few raindrops of water were sliding down her white neck but she raised her hands and slowly slid them off.
Finally, after an hour, the company's door finally opened and the figure of a tall man and a smaller figure walked out.
Sally Sue blinked when she felt cold glares piercing her back.
She turned to see who it was, only to gulp when she saw the man she had been waiting for.
The man frowned when he saw Sally Sue all crunched up In a corner shivering.
And then with anger slightly visible in his eyes he walked towards her and picking her up roughly, by her shoulders, he said coldly, "thought I told you to go home!"
Sally Sue steadied herself and then looked up to meet his deep, black, piercing eyes.
Suddenly, she felt mesmerized.
This wasn't the first time she was seeing him, but each time she saw him or spoke to him she always felt mesmerized by his incomparably handsome face.
Every year, Charles Gu appeared on magazines as the top ten most handsome Entertainment CEOs and was now nicknamed, "the handsomest man alive" and each time she saw his pictures on magazines, she always smiled.
Surely, the media had to be right. Because this man standing right before her looked like a Greek god.
Sally Sue blinked, suddenly getting hold of herself. She lowered her head, blushing for a moment, before she spoke.
"Mr Gu, we need to talk!" She blurted, summoning courage.
Charles Gu brows knitted together in disgust as he stared at her. "What do you want to talk about?"
Sally Sue swallowed, and tilted her head a little to see the other figure that had earlier walked out with Charles Gu.
Suddenly, Sally Sue felt her heart shatter.
Moving back a little, she shook her head roughly. A trace of anger was written on her face as she stared at the young woman who was clinging unto Charles Gu arm as if it was her life support machine.
Sally Sue shook her head again, and said slowly, "not here...not in this place...not with her here."
"Hey.. You!..." The woman figure lurched forward to Sally Sue to say something but Charles Gu held her back. He looked at Sally Sue again. A lazy look on his face. "What do you want to talk about?"
Sally Sue was quiet for a while, her eyes were still throwing daggers at the other woman.
And then suddenly, Sally Sue lurched forward towards the other woman in an attempt to hit her but Charles Gu pushed her away and covered the other woman.
A trace of surprise and anger appeared in his eyes but immediately vanished, returning his handsome face back to its aloof look.
"Sally Sue don't cross your limits!" Charles Gu warned.
Sally just stood there. Shocked by her actions.
She hadn't thought of slapping the woman.
She didn't even want to slap the woman
Even though the woman was once her employer and was the one who had created a place for herself in Ber husband's heart, it still didn't feel right for wanting to slap her.
Was this loveless marriage making her go crazy?
"Sally Sue!" Charles Gu sneered. "If you don't want to say anything then leave!"
"I...I...I..." She bent her head trying to control her voice. "I want a d-divorce."
