"Today Madam Valerie went to ___"

"Shhh... I know. Do your work properly, you know what you have to do now"

"I'm back" Valerie said while putting her bag on the sofa.

"Oooooo Valerie, at last you came back" Mary ran to Valerie and hug her like a Koala.

"Mary, you are choking me to death" Valerie tried to break free from Mary's hug but to no avail.

"Ohh I'm sorry" Mary let go off her, "Princess called me saying that your phone is off, she was really worried, call her fast"

"What? Oh yes, ok thanks sweetie,and what do you want to eat?" Valerie asked while searching for her phone.

"Um,, let me think about it, Ok? Now go call my princess.. Don't make her worry" Mary said.

Valerie smile at Mary then went upstairs.

She plugged her phone to charge then switched on it. Then she quickly went to bathroom to freshen up. It didn't took long before she came back.

She is only wearing her bathrobe but her beauty didn't fade even a little bit.

While drying her hair she called her little girl.

"Mamma" a cheerful but somewhat worried voice came from the other end.

"What happen, sweetheart? Why baby is worried?" Valerie asked with her soothing gentle voice. She is now feeling a little bit guilty about not calling her little girl before.

"Momma, Why didn't you call Micaela early?" the sweet girl ask.

"Oo, baby girl, Mamma went for an interview. And there mamma met a cute aunt Xae, Aunt was upset so mamma was talking to her to made her happy that's why I didnt call early. But why my princess is so worried, hm?" Valerie said while looking for something from her closet.

" Actually I thought that mamma was angry at Micaela for calling so early in the morning " Micaela said a little embarrassed.

" Of course not, Darling. Mamma can never be angry at you, ok now can you give the phone to Granny Lan?"

"Yes mamma, and I am going to bed so Good night" Micaela said cheerfully.

"Good night, princess. Mamma loves you and also misses you. Be a good girl, Bye"

"Love you too mamma"

Valerie smiled and changed her robe. While wearing her pajama her eyes landed on a black card.

She then remembered the jade green eyes.

"Hello, Vale, sweetheart, how are you? Are you eating properly? Did you sleep well at night? Did you have any nightmares?" Granny Lan's concerned voice and pool of questions snapped her out.

Valerie chuckled lightly while went over to go downstairs "Of course Granny Lan, I'm very healthy and fine. I'm having my daily meals time to time and also I'm sleeping well without any nightmares so dont be worried ok? Now about you. How are you, Did Micaela make any trouble for you? Don't overwork yourself, ok? "

" No, not at all, Princess is very caring, she didn't make any trouble. She is too good to me. Even Sometimes I forgot who look after whom? "Granny Lan said while chuckling lightly.

Valerie giggled hearing this.

Granny Lan feel her heart smoothing hearing the giggle. After the incident Valerie became somewhat cold. The smiling face that can make anyone at ease disappeared. Those years felt like a nightmares to them. But when Valerie came back to herself, she changed so much. Her always cheerful smile become occasional smile. But when she is with her closed one or someone whom she trust, her cheerful smiling face came back. Micaela is the very first person who can make Valerie the past Valerie, no one else.

"Granny Lan when are you coming back?" said Valerie while looking for Mary.

"We are coming next week but we aren't going to Z city, we are landing on S city, is there any problem?" Granny Lan asked somewhat worried.

"Of course not, Granny, You know I've my penthouse here, there was no one that's why I'm not going, when you and Valerie will come we are going to shift there. Now I'm going to make dinner so have a rest, alright?"

"Yes, you too, sweetheart, after dinner, have a good rest, good night"

"Good night, Granny."

After hanging up, she asked Mary what she will like to eat. Mary was talking to someone on her phone, so she just said whatever that Valerie wanna have. Valerie was a little tired as she is not having her beauty sleep properly. She made noodles and dumplings then ask Mary to come and have dinner.

They have their dinner while chatting.

Valerie told her about the interview and about Xae. She also told about her shifting next week. Mary didn't protest but she was upset about Valerie leaving. Valerie can tell about that just looking at Mary. Valerie sighed and said, "Mary, Sweet, don't be upset, I'm not leaving the city. I'll be with you most of the time, ok? So dont be upset."

Mary nodded but smiled.

After dinner they went to watch TV then back to sleep.

In the other hand, Secretary Mu is having a hard time.

His boss had ordered him to search about Valerie and her daughter more. But some problem have occurred.

Their other information is being secured by some type of security that he cannot hack into.

Sweats form on his forehead but he tried again and again.

The whole night he tried to break the defense but no avail.
