13 Gentle

Valerie was feeling happy. It's been so long since she ate this much.

When she was in her house, her stepmother was always on her head. Although her mother and father were there to fulfill her wishes. Still, some time her stepmother would come to find trouble with her.

And then because her father was busy, her stepmother took this opportunity to make trouble for her.

Her step mom was so desperate to get her a husband. Even without anyone consent she set up her engagement with one of her friend's son.

Because her mother is very gentle and wise, she cannot do anything.

That's why she left home.

And now she wants to settle down here and live a peaceful life with her daughter and her closest peoples.

So, without any rest she found herself a job that can provide her without any issues.

In this process, she did not get that much rest.

And she didn't take care of herself in the mean time.

So after so much struggle she finally have the time for herself.

She can ate as much as she want.

Valerie was on her own food world that she didn't notice what did Jones said.

"Vale?" "Vale" Jones call out for her.

But he didn't get a response.

So he was going to touch her shoulder, then a hand stop his hand pretty roughly.

Valerie was shocked when she came to her senses.

'Isn't it Mr Brian?' she thought.

When she was searching information about the company she was going to work, She found out that the president is very mysterious. No interview, no photo on magazines, not even a scandal.

She is very much of a curious person. So she investigated that person.

Still no trace, so she hack into the system. No trace of her been left. Then she found out that the person is Jedreck Brian whom she met in the plane even embarrassed herself.

Then she thought that she would be working on a simple department, will be a normal employee. There is no need to be afraid. The president of this big enterprise will not be interested in meeting her again.

There are even no chance of meeting him in the company since it is a big building.

She never thought that she will be meeting him here.

"Mr, Mr Brian, h..how come you are here?" Valerie stammer.

Jones is bewildered.

'Did Valerie just stammered? Is she afraid of this person?' He thought.

He then looks at Jedreck very cautiously.

And take his hand back he can still feel a bit of pain from how strongly it had been gripped.

Actually Valerie didn't know for herself.

Although her family is rich, she still likes to be away from influence people. And Jedreck is on the top of the list. The public or some rich people might haven't seen him but he is out of the league.

She knows her own self very well and she can feel that there is something about this person that is different but to her she is not enough for him.

She still chooses to work for him cause she wants to do something for him but in the shadow.

After the incident it's the first time she feels like this. It's actually not that deep but she is smitten by him. But she never gonna admit that.

"Miss Scott" Jedreck said coolly.

"Why? Can I not be here?" although his his face and voice are cold, there is some gentleness.

Now Secretary Mu gasp.

That's rare. It's only few times that his big boss have this expression.

He had seen that when his big boss is with his family, he was not cold but stiff.

Now to this Miss Scott his face is showing gentleness???

'Indeed he only have gentleness and smile when he was in front of Miss Scott.'

'No! Not Miss Scott, she might be the future Lady boss! Ohhhh, what a great news. Finally, finally.' Secretary Mu already has his own prediction and now rejoicing in his heart.

There are even some happy tears in his eyes but he quickly wipe it off and put on his low key smile.

On the other hand, after getting the small cold reply, Valerie is sure that he hates her.

"You know each other, Princess?" Jones asked.

"No, we just met one time, nothing special, brother Jon. Oh and I'm full. Can we go home? I'm dead tired. First without breakfast next shopping, then here. I really want to rest. I want to go home." Valerie ignored Jedreck and looked at Jones with a pout.

Looking at his adorable sister, how could he say no? And he could tell that Valerie is actually ignoring Jedreck.

So without any delay he payed the bill then he took Valerie's hand.

" It was nice meeting you Mr Brian. You see Vale is actually tired so we are going. Hope we can meet and have corporation in the future. This is my card. ....Have a good day. "Jones said. When Secretary Mu saw that his boss is not going to take the card he quickly took it," You too Sir."

Without any delay Jones left the restaurant with Valerie.

Jones knew who is Jedreck. He saw him in a meeting. That was a private meeting. Their company have deals with those company that is under Lu Jin Corporation. They still didn't get the chance to have any cooperation with Lu Jin Corporation or Brian Group. He can tell that Brian Group is out of their league. Brian Group only have deal with aboard Companies.

Valerie didn't said anything and didn't look back cause she knows that she can't. She doesn't have the courage.

Secretary Mu is terrified. He can feel a cold, terrifying aura coming from his boss.

He just doesn't know what did he do wrong.

Not a minute ago his boss have that gentle look, now what?

Looking at him people might think that he is going to kill someone, not just kill. His expression seems like where he is going to chop someone and feed him to the dogs.
