food problems?, first fight

As soon as I mentioned the word eat their faces of shock from me looking like I resurrected turned into gloomy downtrodden expressions. the only girl of the group started speaking.

"We haven't eaten the entire two days we have been in the school Suzan redfall and her close friends eat all the monsters that are hunted and the cafeteria is infested with small plant monsters."

hearing this I wondered why the hell no one tried to set up a group of people and kill all the

*small plant monsters* they don't sound too intimidating.

Standing up I went to talk to the blonde girl who was still at the table sorting pages of choices. Hey since I am a melee fighter can I receive a weapon?

realising that I am still alive she spoke with a sense of urgency in her voice.

"of course but we don't have any sharp objects left infact we only have one metal bat"

I said that's fine can you give it to me now?

she went to the store room and walked back carrying a bright pink metal bat. (well not exactly what I was thinking when she said metal bat but beggars can't be choosers'

"here you go she said with a look of apology on her face"

that's okay I said as I gratefully took the metal bat I think that I will call you hmm let's see how about nick? Yea that sounds like a good enough name nick the pink bat. so with my weapon in tow I walked towards the exit when I was abruptly stopped by Luke varri?

"Where are you going didn't you just get here?"

I spoke in reply

"umm yeah I am planning on getting some food for myself and the other students is that not allowed?"

he then started smiling a really benevolent smile

"that's great can me and my cousin join you? I'm sure that we will be a great help."

I replied with yeah I guess nonchalantly but in my head I was actually thanking my lucky stars I really didn't want to go alone plus it was Luke varri he has to of been given some pretty good abilities.

Once he got his cousin we set off for food both luke and his cousin had blonde hair but for some reason Luke had the commonly associated blue eyes and his cousin somehow was unlucky enough to be given brown eyes which where really dark and didn't go well with his hair.

It didn't take long before we reached the entrance of the cafeteria but I could already hear the vines moving I wan behind luke and behind me was his cousin Jimmy we charged in cutting up any and all plant monsters and suprisingly it worked for a while...

the plants didn't have an end in sight plus to add insult to injury the mother plant showed up and flung Jimmy across the room.

I looked at the giant plant that had just flung Jimmy across the room it was an apple tree but had about a dozen branches that acted as it's arms.

me and Luke started ignoring the small plants and just killing them as needed while focusing on the apple monster.

I noticed something and that something was that when ever I hit an apple it backed away I yelled the information at Luke and he ran towards the apple tree cutting nearly all the apples with his weapon which happened to be a saw and finally we had killed all the plant monsters.

"Help"... then I remembered OH NO! I yell Jimmy! but when me and Luke got over there we realised that there was nothing we could do. Jimmy looked like he was hit by a car then a motor bike went over him for good measure.

he started to speak

"kai come here so I can tell you something"

so obliging his last request I went closer to his mouth his next words both shocked and angered me.

"since I'm leaving my favourite cousin with you i am going to use this ability I once thought useless. with the strength I hold within me I bind you to be selfless and unable to break a promise lest you feel a pain 7x worse than you have experienced in your life everytime you break a promise or leave/forsake someone in need within your power/limits help or try to help I also forbid you from hurting someone with malicious intent who is defenseless and who has not wronged you in some way the pain will last seven days and the pain its self will magnify each time since you will feel worse pain."

'this dying b*tch he has basically cursed me with morals'

I stepped away inwardly hoping that he goes to the deepest pits of hell but you know I'm not really a bad person so I should be fine.

After a quick burial near the entrance to the cafeteria me and the quiet Luke walk Into the cafeterias food storage. we both picked up 3 crates but to my surprise Luke decided to pick up 3 crates in each hand when I looked at him weirdly he said

"Jimmy died on this trip so we need to make it worth it"

and like that we walked towards the gym while slowly talking about this and that.
