4 Episode 4

Explosions rattled the palace as the fight between Shockwave, Blaze, Frost, and Sin got under way. "Sounds like we're missing out on the fun," said Drake. "Um Norn dear, you can put me down I can walk," said Lady Astema. "Nonsense," Daigo replied, "To let a beautiful woman like you wander aimlessly in a combat zone is despicable." "That's where you draw the line, really?!" Drake asked. "That's enough from you," Daigo replied. "I just hope Blaze and Shockwave are okay, they are fighting against Sin and Frost," Lady Astema said with a concerned expression on her face. Daigo stopped running. "What is it?" Asked Drake. "Drake, I want you to take Lady Astema and escort her to safety, I'm going to help out the others," Daigo replied. Drake stood for a moment, "Your serious for once, kind of a nice change of pace," Drake said. Daigo smiled, "just get her to safety, I'll catch up shortly." "You better," Lady Astema said as Drake took her hand and they ran down the hall. "Well looks like the old me is getting to come out for a change, time to kick some ass," Daigo said as he ran towards the chaos ahead.

The battle has been going for some time, Blaze has been separated from Ij and is fighting Sin along, while Ij is off against Frost. "SOLAR FLARE!" River cried. The yellow ball of flames struck the wall causing debris to fly in all directions. "Is that all you got River!?," I shouted, "PHANTOM BLAST!" A dark stream of energy surged towards River striking him in the chest and throwing him into a wall. "Damn it," River said, "He's faster than before." River's side felt like it was on fire, he could feel the blood dripping down his side. Sin walked through the smoke and stood before River. "You don't even understand what happened that day, I would of thought after all the years we were friends, practically brothers you would be smart enough to know there was more that happened," I said. "We were friends once, now you pay for what you did to Kisa," River replied standing up. River charged Sin, throwing a fiery punch at him, Sin blocked and returned the attack by kicking him in the chest, knocking River back to the ground. "Your anger blinds you, you can't even hope to defeat me here," I said. "We will see about that," River replied, "SUPERNOVA!" A giant ball of red energy formed around River and Sin steps back. "So this is your ace?" I asked stepping back. "You won't be able to avoid this so easily," River replied. He lunges the giant mass of red energy at Sin, the force of the attack is causing the walls surrounding them to collapse. "Shit," I cry out as the force of the attack sucks me in. The red energy collapses and explodes causing a shock wave to blow out the side of the palace. "That should end it," River says panting. As he turns he suddenly hears a loud screeching noise coming from behind him. "What?!" River said as he turned to see a black orb forming through the smoke, "That's impossible you should be dead after an attack like that!" "It will take more than that to end me," I reply, "NOW WITNESS MY POWER, SIREN'S SPHERE!" Sin charges at River but before he can react Sin teleports behind him. "NO!" River cried as Sin pushes the black energy sphere into his chest. A white explosion engulfs River and in an instant there is silence. "I am sorry," I said standing over River's unconscious body, "There is more to that day then you know and I hope I will get to tell you, but for now this ends our fight, until next time." Sin disappeared through the smoke and River is left unconscious on the ground.

"That the best you got?" Asked Dan as he blocked a punch thrown by Ij. "You tell me?" Ij asked as he opened his hand sending a wave of electricity into Dans face sending him backwards. "That's pretty shady of you," Dan replied as he wiped the blood off of his lip, "HYDRO GUYSER !" A column of water shot from the side of the wall striking Ij and throwing him into a column. "I see you have tricks as well, Ij replied. Dan smiled, "You haven't seen anything yet." Daigo turned the corner and stands between Dan and Ij. "Looks like I made it just in time," Daigo said panting. "Well this seems a bit unfair," Dan said with a smile, "Should of brought more if you wanted to make this an even fight." "Big words coming from what I've done to you by myself," Ij replied. Dan grinned, "I haven't even started yet." A red mist begins forming under Dan, "What the hell is going on?" Daigo asked backing up. "Who cares, I've got this," Ij replied, "STORM CHARIOT STAMPEDE!" Ij's body erupts in lightning and he rushes towards Dan. "Wait, this can't be, IJ STOP!" Daigo cried. Dan smiled, "Too late, BLOOD FORM ASYLUM!" Ij stopped and began screaming in agony, his body tightened and he lay paralyzed on the ground. "Damn it," Daigo said stepping back, "The rumors are true, he mastered the Blood Form Manipulation technique." "You're quite smart Norn, I was expecting both of you to fall for my attack but I suppose now I can go all out since I'm facing you." Daigo glared at Dan, "That technique of yours, how long will it last?" "Once I leave here he will be released," Dan replied. "Too bad for you you won't be leaving," Daigo said, "GAIA FORCE!" Green flames exploded from Daigo's hand and surged towards Dan. "SHIT," Dan cried as he slammed his hands on the floor creating an ice barrier around him. Daigo rushed towards him driving his fist through the ice impaling Dan in the face. Dan flies into the ground, "YOU BASTARD!" he cried, "HYDRO VOID!" Daigo tried to avoid the attack but gets sucked into the swirling vortex of water. "I can't breathe," Daigo said trying to gasp for air. "I'm not finished with you yet," Dan said slamming the vortex of water into the ground. Daigo coughs, and slowly stands, "You are strong I'll give you that," he said. Dan rushes towards Daigo sending a flurry of punches and kicks at him. Daigo grabbed his leg and threw him into a wall causing Dan to lose consciousness . "You should know better than to rush an Earth Avatar," Daigo said, "Now let's finish this, GAMMA DUST SPLITTER!" A orange blast surrounded by green electricity is fired from Daigo's hand and it surged towards Dan. "DARK VORTEX!" A voice calls from behind. The energy blast is sucked into a black hole. "Sin, I figured it wouldn't take you long to show up," Daigo said. "We are through with this little squabble, We are returning to Necrosis," I replied picking up Dan and throwing him over my shoulder. Silence filled the air. "I know you aren't a bad person at heart Sin, there is more to this then you are letting on," Daigo said. I stood for a moment, "You will know my intentions before long, but until then farewell for now," I turned and black wings formed behind me, "One more thing, take this, it's a special herb that will counter Frosts Blood Manipulation technique," as I toss a bag to Daigo. Daigo watches as Sin flew off. "So he can fly now, well shit," Daigo thought to himself, "Then again what are these intentions of his that he speaks of?"
