Thunder roared overhead as the battle raged. "GIGA ROOT!" Drake cried as giant roots erupted from the ground impaling a group of demons, "We need to keep these bastards busy." "I agree!" Jon replied as he struck a demon with his sword. "SOUL FIRE!" Martin shouted as blue flames enveloped his arm, "I can narrow down their lines with this." "YOU TURNED YOUR ARM INTO A FUCKING SPARKLER, HOW IS THAT GOING TO HELP?!" Jon cried. Martin grinned and lifted his arm, "LIKE THIS!" He waved his arm and a massive blast of blue and white flames engulfed a wave of demons. "I apologize for my outburst," Jon replied, driving his sword into another demon. A group of demons charged behind Jon driving their swords down towards him. "WATCH OUT!" Mikiu cried. Jon turned to see blood fill the air. "You..really need to be more careful...of your surroundings.." Dan said weakly. The blades had impaled Dan through his back as he rushed to shield Jon. "YOU BASTARD WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Jon cried. Dan grinned, "It'll take a lot more than that to get rid of me." Jon stared as the puddle of blood below Dan began to rise around him. "Mikiu, get the guys away from me, things are about to get out of hand," Dan said through gritted teeth. Mikiu grabbed Jon and pushed the others back, "Don't go near him," she said. The blood began to evaporate and the demons backed away from Dan. "You wanted a fight? Now you've got one," Dan said with a smile. He looked up and his face was covered in red veins and his burned bright like crimson. The demons charged Dan. "CRIMSON VIBE SHADE!" Dan shouted as a red energy formed around his hand and surged towards the demons, disintegrating them instantly. "What the fuck is going on here?!" Jon asked. Mikiu's face was pale, "That's the power of the Anik," she replied. "Anik?" Drake asked. "Frost's bloodline is cursed, his ancestors made a deal with a blood demon known as the Anik and in return they were given the power of blood maipulation, however the Anik lives within them, and when their bodies take heavy damage the Anik takes over and regenerates its host, but in that time frame the host loses all sense of reality and only knows to stay alive and will kill anything that gets in its way, even people they know," Mikiu replied. "Glad he's on our side," Martin said. "That's why he has such great respect for my brother, he was the only one to remind him of what was important in that form," Mikiu said. The other demons around Frost noticed the display and also charged. "YOU WANT SOME TOO!?" Dan asked as he clapped his hands together. The blood on the ground began forming into orbs and floated into the air surrounding the demons. "BLOOD SPIKE STIGMATA!" Dan shouted as the orbs exploded into massive spikes that impaled the demons. "Yeah, I'm really glad he is on our side," Martin said again. Dan stood for a moment and turned his body began to steam and he collapsed to the ground. "Shit!" Mikiu said as she ran over to Dan's side. "The Anik must have exerted too much of his energy, he's out cold,"Mikiu said, "AGU!" The orange dragon landed next to Mikiu as her and Jon placed Dan onto his back. "Take him to the palace," Mikiu said. Agu nodded and flew off. "We still have a lot to do here in order to keep the demons attention away from my brother and the others, I just hope they are okay," Mikiu said. "In the meantime, I've got an army of my own," Jon said slamming his hands to the ground, "UNDEAD RISING!" The ground split and undead spirits lifted from the ground and began to attack the demons. Meanwhile, the fight between Lord Mephis, Sin, Blaze, Daigo, and Disciple was hitting its climax. Disciple hit the ground, "Damn it all, it seems like everything we are throwing at him isn't doing anything." Sin panted, "We can't give up." River charged Lord Mephis, striking him with his burning fist. "I do hope you aren't getting tired Blaze, that would make it pathetic if I killed you like this," Lord Mephis said kicking River in the stomach sending him into the ground. "We need to do something," River said weakly. "I may have a plan, " Daigo said, "But it'll take three of us to distract and one to attack from the rear." "You don't mean Tri Sectum?" Blaze asked. Daigo nodded, "It's our only shot, if we can hit him head on with that and then Sin strike him from behind with his Siren's Sphere we may have a shot of defeating him." Sin stood up and gripped his scythe, "Well then let's get started."
