Madi Reynolds’s tragic car accident ended her life. After waking up, she finds herself in a new world. A war-torn, magical place called the Madlands. Mortals like her that had come from the first world are separated randomly to enter two kingdoms ruled by the High Kings. Evil, immortal tyrants that turn deceased mortals into slaves. Before being attacked by a group of savage mortals like herself, Madi is rescued by a gunslinger named Muira. An immortal from before the old war that put the High Kings into power. Saving Madi from the High Kings’ wraith, the two venture out into the chaotic madlands in search of survival.
