Mortal Corruptor

"At that day... the world was swallowed by an infinite darkness. W- we couldn't see anything. We couldn't do anything and just stand there. But then, a flicker of light in the distance. I looked around and the people around me disappeared. I didn't care as I felt my whole body's control returned back to me. I moved... I moved... I ran, I ran! I could move! I shouted in joy. That light... that's all I need... That light! But as soon as I reached out my hand into the darkness... My view suddenly turned upside down. 'Eh..?' I said out loud, confused as to why that happened. As I looked up, it was as if my body gave up on me as I saw the hundreds of tentacles latched around my neck. I felt the creature breathe on me. I should be dead as my whole neck was twisted, yet... I could still feel it, I could feel the pain. As it opened its mouth, thousands of parts moved around and I could see the never ending void in its mouth. 'You... The story... You aren't meant to be here.' The monstrosity of the creature told me. I felt the tentacles over my body closing me in with the creature. I closed my eyes... I was ready to accept death. And then... I woke up. Is this... Is this... Earth? or Hell?"
