3 Decisions

With the decisions made it was simply a matter of deciding the order that each school would be in. Daniel was of course the person who would make the final decision but for now he left the it to the schools representatives to decide the order.

After about thirty minutes the twelve martial artists came back holding a piece of paper. Daniel took the paper and began going over it. The first month would be Tai Chi, the second would be Tai Kwon Do and the third would be Karate. The fourth would be Jiu Jitsu, the fifth would be Krav Maga and the sixth would be Muay Thai. The seventh would be Aikido, the eighth would be Hapkido and the ninth would be judo. The last three where all different schools of Kung Fu, namely Tiger, Dragon and Serpent. They would also go in that exact order.

When Daniel was finished reading he nodded and said "I think this is good, I agree with your decision."

The twelve representatives sighed in relief when they heard him, only they would ever know what happened in the side room.

Soon the new year came and Daniel was taken to the largest school of Tai chi in the world. The name of the school was simply Tai Chi Daniel found the name a little silly, but as the school taught all forms of Tai Chi, it fit.

When Daniel first arrived all of the teachers in the school where waiting for him. Daniel had to pick a teacher out of each of them. Daniel of course found it a bit stupid because each of them had a differing version of Tai Chi.

In the end Daniel said "Why don't you each show me your skills in each of the different forms of Tai Chi?"

A number of the teachers frowned at this, they where clearly not as confident as other teachers. Daniel of course noticed this and silently put them in the nope list in his head. It didn't take long for a more prideful and young teacher to walk up on stage and begin displaying their skills and by the end Daniel was thinking 'He is quite good.'

After the first teacher came up teachers began taking turns to display their own skill. Eventually this all ended and the final teacher finished their display before leaving the stage.

Daniel knew he had full choice in the matter of who his teacher was so he took his time to pick. He quietly sat down and thought over everything he had seen and after an hour stood up and pointed at the back of the crowd. Everyone looked back and saw a young man quietly practicing behind everyone.

When the teachers saw the young man they bowed until he stopped practicing. Then smiling he said "So you're Daniel, right? I will be your teacher."

This young man was actually the principal of the school and had never taken a student before. In his words "It would be a waste of my time, they simply don't have the talent to keep up with the training."
