Game went viral!

A white building could be seen in the Kyoto prefecture of Japan. Big bold words could be seen in the entrance, spelling out "Nintendo Central Office". People could be seen going in and out of the building, while droves of cameramen and news casters were clustered just right outside the building. Wherein below the stage platform, a screen background could be seen.

In the top of the building, people were bustling while doing their tasks. They seemed busy and it looked chaotic due to the noise from phone conversations.

"Have you contacted the Seattle branch yet? What? Go contact them right away!"

"Hello, prepare the presentation in around an hour, Yes, we will start immediately after the said time."

"Yes, this is the central office. What? You are not done yet with the discussions with Apple? Make sure that by the time we launch the product, the app would be accessible in the App Store! Now do your job properly!"

These kinds of calls were prevailing all throughout the top floor. However, even with the busy scene, you could still feel the tenseness and excitement in the atmosphere.

....

After an hour, on the stage platform just right outside the Nintendo Central Office, the cameramen were checking for the setup of their cameras. The news casters were quickly preparing for their supposed questions and the script for the news which they will shoot. The screen in the background lighted up and showed "Nintendo" and "NIANTech". Then a man could be seen suddenly walking towards the platform. While holding the mic, the man smiled at the camera and at the people in the venue.

"Good day everyone! Today we are going to present a mind-blowing product of technology and imagination. As we all know, Pokémon has been known all throughout the years. Some here have been watching or reading it since childhood. Now, with the advancement of technology, you could be a Pokémon trainer! Nintendo with the cooperation of NIANTech who developed the game, is proud to present "Pokémon Go!".

A video was played in the background. Pokémon's could be seen playing in the forest while goofing around. There were Cyndaquil, Charmander, Oddish, Bulbasaur and a whole lot more. Then the 2D image turned into a 3D one. The image then transitioned into a screen in the phone wherein a boy who seems to be a trainer was seen walking in the forest. He saw a Pikachu in his screen and with a tap, the Pikachu was enlarged and a pokeball appeared at the bottom of the screen. With 4 tries, it clearly shows bad luck in capturing the Pokémon, when suddenly, after the 5th throw, the Pikachu was captured! The pokeball was zoomed in then 2 words were seen fading in. It read "Pokémon Go!".

Applause were heard all throughout the venue. Clearly, this would be a day to be remembered, not only to the people present but also to a certain individual.

6 p.m. at a gym somewhere in East Cambridge

Clyde could be seen gasping for air. His panting could be heard all throughout the gym. Lying on the floor with his stomach facing upwards, Clyde was dead tired. He lays on the floor while thinking 'I haven't trained this hard for so long... was it 4 years ago?' Shaking his head to shake off his thoughts, Clyde stood up and went to the shower room.

After showering and dressing up. Clyde said good bye to the Old man. Waving his hands while saying "Bye old man! See you tomorrow!" while cheekily smiling and running away.

"Hmph! You brat! who is the old man? Who wants to see you anyways!" He grumpily said while having an affectionate look in his eyes which is different on what is seen in his expression. He thought while looking at the back of Clyde 'Stay safe kiddo'.

While running, Clyde saw that it was already evening. It was dark outside and you could see the street lamps lighting the streets. He looked at his phone and saw it was already 7:30 p.m. 'Time passes so fast' he thought. It was only around 3 p.m. when he went to the Old man's gym. Walking on the alleyways, he thought of walking around the neighborhood.

"I caught a Charmander!"

"What? I even caught a Pikachu!"

"Hey no fair! Why do I seem to only find Ratatta!"

These types of conversations were evident in messaging platforms and even on social media. People running around the night while finding Pokémon's and taking a selfie with a hashtag of #PokemonGo, #TryingToFindPikachu and a whole lot more was seen on social media platforms.

Pokémon Go made the world go into a craze! People were seen holding their phones while walking in the neighborhood. There were people going into different landmarks to get free incense that attracts Pokémon! Some were jogging or even driving to just hatch their incubated Pokémon eggs. However, there were sittings of incidents that occurred due to Pokémon Go. Phone robberies, people falling into sewers, traffic jams, and even car accidents! You could imagine scenarios due to people looking only at their phone while walking around.

Reporters drove and ran to these sites to report these incidents to the news. This would create a good feedback due to the trending topic of Pokémon Go in media.

Back to the young man...

Clyde was walking comfortably at his own pace. He was not aware on the happenings around him nor the craze that the Pokémon game brought to the world even without its 24 hours release in the market. He was close to his apartment, with only around 5 minutes left of walking. He decided to go home since he has been walking around the neighborhood for about an hour already. Looking around at children still running late at night, people laughing merrily at restaurants and a family just eating outside for their dinner. He's in a daze while walking back to his apartment.

However,...

In a street just perpendicular to the street that Clyde is walking at. A silver Fortuner was seen passing by. When he was around the corner, he turned the car to the left, just right at the street where Clyde was. A man that was wearing glasses with casual clothing could be seen in the driver's seat. He seemed to be working with computers and seems to be playing something. Looking at the phone, the man saw a yellow mouse in the map of his game. Clicking it, he was not aware at the young man who was walking at the same street he was driving on. He threw pokeballs carelessly due to his excitement at catching the trademark Pokémon Pikachu.

While walking, Clyde saw his shadow on the ground with a white background, turning around, he saw a flash of white light before his eyes. Realizing what those light meant, he tried to veer out the way of the car. However, he was too late, before he even had the chance to evade, the car hit him and his head hit the hood then everything went black.

At the same time, the man with glasses threw his last pokeball and finally captured the Pikachu! Looking back at the road, he finally saw a young man trying to evade his car. Alas, everything was too late when he steered the car into the left, he still hit the young man. The car then crashed into a street lamp which broke and slammed against the top of the car. The man fainted however his phone dropped to the floor of the car while glowing with the word 'Capture Success'.

Everything seemed surreal for the young man. Just earlier today he went to his school and went to the gym as usual. He wasn't aware of something so unusual happening to his usual schedule. 'Well that was ironic' he thought. Before the car hit him, Clyde felt that he should remember something, however the word went still for him then he succumbed to the darkness.

Clyde panicked. 'Am I still alive?' he thought. He is scared at opening his eyes and is chanting to himself 'It's all just a dream, just a dream and nothing more'. Then Clyde opened his eyes and shock was evident in his face. What he witnessed would be the most memorable event in his entire 18 years of living.

A reporter was seen standing in front of a camera in the East Cambridge neighborhood. A car with a broken hood and a street lamp resting at the top of it was seen in the background. A man with glasses was seen taken into the ambulance however a young man could also be seen lying with blood all over his head which hid his facial features.

You could hear the reporter saying "A man working as an IT Specialist at NIANTech was caught in a car accident here in East Cambridge. As you could see, he hit a young man who was still alive, but is still unconscious. As of right now, the authorities are still finding his identity. The said cause of the incident is the said playing of Pokémon Go while driving. The phone of the driver was seen laying at the floor of the car which is still on and was shown successfully capturing a Pikachu. The authorities are finding more about the incident and they already called someone to fix the broken street lamp. So again, stay safe at the street and prevent yourselves in using your phone while driving or even in the streets. There were already a few cases similar to this one today. The young man in the background who was said to be unconscious was moved into a stretcher and was brought into the ambulance.

After 20 minutes, the personnel's rushed the young man into the emergency room who would perform emergency treatment for the patient.

Around two hours, at exactly 12 p.m., the doctor proclaimed that the patient has been stabilized. Then they moved the patient into the ICU ward.

The young man could be seen peacefully sleeping. He has bruises on his face and his limbs however it could not hide his obvious facial feature of curly auburn blonde hair with bits of blood. The accident, however, hid his handsome facial features.

The man was not moving but only seemed to be sleeping...
