Chapter 1
"Luna!" a man shouted angrily into the cave, his voice echoed and bounced around the walls causing some of the slumbering bats to fly deeper into the cave and the rest out toward the man.
"Do you really think a beginner like you could steal from me and get away with it?" he said slowly walking into the cave. his footstep could be heard from all angles along with the goons he brought along to look for the thief.
Luna on the other hand was quietly observing the man and his goons search the opposite direction she was hiding. she slowly started descending deeper into the cave making sure to have the proper distance between her and the very angry raider group.
Once in a somewhat safe area, she pulled out the item that she stole from her inventory.

"well that explains why he is so pissed, I would love to kill them for the XP but with my level that is not happening," she said turning around to hopefully find another exit. The temperature was already cold but it was dropping rapidly, Luna could see her breath.
Choosing to press onward ignoring the cold because she could hear the raider group's footstep behind her but couldn't tell the distance. After a while, she could no longer move forward because right before her eye was a pack of ghouls, man-eating monster. she crouched behind a rock and began to observe.

Luna was both frighted and amused as a plan started to form inside her head. in front of her, a group of the man-eating minster and behind her was most likely another group of man-eating monster.
Starved ghouls were skinner than average and due to them leaving underground most of the time. Their skin was void of hair and pigment. Arm are abnormally long with shape claws. Starved ghouls are very ferocious eaters leaving nothing of their prey except for a bloody mess.
Luna was not going to let this opportunity slip her by. She could take out the two groups with ease now. Without wasting any more time she pulled out a knife and made a large cut on the palm of her hand, letting the blood drip for a while then slashing some across the room toward the creature.
When the Starved ghouls began to sniff the air this was her cue to leave. She started running toward the group of raiders the sound alerted the creatures as they gave chase.
Before the raider group could even notice her presence, she had already pounced on one of the goons with a dagger in hand. she drove the dagger into the goon's head piercing the brain. The leader of the raider was more concerned about the group of starved ghouls running towards them.
"Ghouls" he shouted as he pulled out the sledgehammer from his back and prepared for combat.
Luna was now in the centre of five raiders. she quickly pulled the 10mm pistol from the side hoster of the dead raider. she shot two raiders in the head and the other on the leg before the noise of clicking could be heard.
"Damn it" she cursed under her breath.
The two still standing raider were about to shoot at her until they were attacked by some starved ghouls that had slipped through the range of the boss.
Luna picked up the shotgun that the raider had dropped and shot the two ghouls in the head while they were feasting. she looted their bodies and noticed another raider in a corner tightly holding his leg.
The visible stain could be noticed on the raider pants and a trail of liquid was seen slowly moving down to the corpses of his friend.
Luna walked toward him and without a word shot him in the head. she then turned around and notice the boss was handling the ghouls with ease while gaining a few levels as well.
"While he is doing that I should check my stats" she said taking a seat on a nearby rock formation.
In the world of MWD, the system goes silent whenever a player wants or is in combat to not cause unnecessary distractions.

"I levelled up quite a bit" she said with a smiled on her face.

[The Raider boss Vincent Maxx has lost the help of his goons and now faces the pack of Starved ones alone. Vincent has now reached level 10. Defeat him and remnants of the pack to earn two titles and experience]
"how grand, talk about taking out two birds with one stone" she mused. she observed Vincent's condition. he has picked off a handful of starved ghouls but was exhausted and little patches of frost could be seen around his body. mostly likely caused by attacks from the ghouls.
Slowly but surely the ghouls stopped attacking and were trying to retreat back into their den but were all killed by Luna. After the last Ghoul had been killed by Vincent this was her chance to strike. she rushed toward him and stabbed him in the chest. she was expecting him to fall from the momentum but didn't instead she saw a notification appear before her.
[Raider boss has mutated].
"Luna!" he shouted so that she could feel her ears about to bleed.
She tried to pull back the dagger but it was stuck in his chest. He might be stronger but she was faster. In a quick session of movements, she lifted herself up with the dagger, shot twice with her 10mm pistol the used his chest as a platform and pushed herself and the dagger out.
The bullets shots make him stagger a bit but he didn't react. his body was not emitting a golden aura and was getting bigger.
