1 Morning tears

The sun was piercing the window with its sparkling rays, while the mute table tried to stop unsuccessfully the invasive light from blinding the silent human figures in the paintings hanging from the walls.

One of those paintings, a little child kneeled in pencil, was already hiding her eyes in her hands, thing that made Cristina sure that the god damned battle between light and shadows had been taking place for a long period of time.

Cristina stepped out of the bathroom, her hair dripping water and the fucsia towel in her hand. She was moving as stealthy as possible to not awake the other members of her household.

She passed the towel again through her curls, bowing to the pair of dogs watching carefully her every little movements. She raised her torso, smiled to the furred pair and even blinked to them, causing the pets to start a dance around her, while she occupied herself pouring coffee and milk for herself in her small brown cup. She patted her tight after sitting, the fumes of her hot morning beverage raising in the bright kitchen. The male dog, a beautiful boxer, carefully touched the spot she was patting and accommodated his head on her lap.

As the scene turned more calmer she raised her right hand to reach her cell phone and after adjusting her earphones she opened Spotify... She carefully searched for the theme that had been bothering her the whole week since the release of the album. Yes, that "Blue Side" song had been awakening her from her night rest making she feel uneasy and uncomfortable.

The earphones started shaking her soul with the words J-Hope was slowly leaving in her ears.

The wind brought a hot late spring blow that made the chimes hanging from the wall sing along the Korean singer. The sound in her earphones replicated exactly, note by note, the sound of the chimes, and Cristina found herself fascinated. What miracle was taking place today?

Confused with all that was odd and happening in front of her gaze, Cristina looked up for another theme.

Absently, she hit the play button to release one of Jorge Drexler's songs. The song was sad, very sad and was about parting ways and longing for others.

Cristina listened carefully to it, still locked eyes in the chimes. Without any announcement she notice a tear had started rolling down her face. She was there, silently crying.

That guy J-Hope had made her cry?
