3 Awareness

The wind was blowing furiously in her ears, and hitting her face with millions of micro icicles. The umbrella was completely useless in her hand, more an obstacle than a safeguard against the rain that seemed rabid while drumming on the plastic and transparent perishing film. Cristina was breathing heavily trying to maintain a good pace while jumping and sliding between the water pools that were spread before her. Her hands were holding the umbrella and her phone at the same time, the only thing that seemed worthy of her efforts.

She was crying and cursing at the same time. What else could she have done? She hated rainy days so much that it even seemed funny, the way she would put up a speech every time an imprudent would speak of the rain as a blessing.

Suddenly she stopped midway in her wet course and still crying took a good deep breath of air, and raising her face to the sky started fingering the buttons of her phone. One second later the music started blasting with furia, which made her face turn into a victorious smile.

The song was Not Today from BTS... Seemed appropriate garnishment to the scene she was a leader part right then! The song released the day before came to her mind... The water hitting her was a lot similar to Jin strolling under similar conditions in Epiphany's MV. She made a slight of her round eyes and then, with a astonishing "pop" sound, a ghostly figure materialise from thin air just by her side. It was him, it was Jin!! He was utterly wet, his hair locks dripping water in sync with their movements.

As the silence started bothering her, she decided to make a pout and speak at least. "You know my dear that no matter how much effort you and your band mates could put into it, you won't change my opinion on the rain!", she spouted with her more serious tone.

Besides her Jin smiled, signalling with his crampled finger her nose, a smile joyfully jumping from his lips to his beautiful irises. Without a word he waved his left hand, and with a new "pop" vanished completely.

She sighted heavily and whispered in her smaller voice "Run coward, you know I can summon you whenever I can".

As expected the summoned and vanished Jin never answered...

She shooked her head in an attempt to clear her mind, and without any further delay she started walking toward her home.
